He stated he got my contact from nairaland and ordered for 30 tons 3/4 grainte to Parliament estate after amen phase 3 ilamaja.
We negotiated and agreed on 475 000.00 naira. To site while payment was agreed to be once materials get to site.

I get to work and the trailer of 30 tons Granite got to the site today.
I called biola on +2347058521901
And he assured me he will effect the payments claiming he need enter the banking hall.

Also called in reassuring that he is the engr and that payment must be effected. at a point they said payment have been sent and that I should expect the fund.
On trust the truck off loaded and left.

Since then Mr biola have blocked me and refused to respond to calls eventually when I use other lines while
Mr OluSeau Samuel claimed he have sent the money to biola...
He sent me two debit alert totalling 370k to one 1825913263.....acces bank...,john odulan alleging he paid it.

I need help tracking and getting this dou as i Smell organise scam with them.

The boy I sent to parliament estates said they have start using the Granite and some workers threatened to beat him up when he protested.

They complain of lack of jobs, but when they see one, they quickly mess it up
Involve security agents officially or unofficially, if you know his house or workshop.

Next time, if you're not around, don't link up with an Artisan directly.
Go through a referrer, whom you can contact and put pressure on if the werey Artisan starts showing the typical colours.
Once they know you're not around and there's no capable hand on ground to hold them accountable, just forget it.
They'll show you pepper.

I'm just looking at the quote and think there MAY be more scope for further cost efficiency savings in addition to buying the materials yourself.

Where is your location? Is it a water logged area? I asked because I noticed that the quote is for a in-situ/on site concrete caste system. This is a very expensive system. If your land is not waterlogged, may make better economic choice of adopting the block and beam system. (See photos). You can deliver the swimming pool structure for a fraction of the cost of a caste system because with the block/beam system, you don't need that much rod and cement included in quote.

Then you need to understand swimming pool plumbing. What you need are your pump, filter, your chlorination unit, then skimmer and pipping. See photos.

Once you established these prices, you are good to go. It is possible to deliver that quote for far well under 10million.

She's already delivering it with 4-5m

I used hdf wooden doors but am regretting. I think steel or american panel doors are better. For me avoid wood

Everything depends on your taste and quality, but I will try and give you a breakdown using mid quality furnishing.

Internal doors = Flush doors 120-190k per one
External doors = 400-800k per one
Kitchen cabinets = 500-800k using HDF
Toilet sinks + basins = 50-80k per set
Shower = 40-80k per one
Floor drains = 4-20k per one
Living media unit = 400-800k depending on material and design.
Furniture (couch) = 1-2.5m per set
Dinning set = 350-700k

I furnished recently and everything is in the higher range of these estimations.

So everything depends on the quality and your taste.

For example, there are doors of 80k, there are bathroom doors of 60k i think, etc.

A tiling of floor compound it works has a strong empirical Base designs with a beautiful look.
Stampede floor it is good but it can store sand and easily germinate grass

Tiled and Stamped floor are on similar level when it comes to function, interlocked floor is quite different because it is removable without damaging and it is cool or advisable to be used on compound floors that have service pipes or cables run beneath it ( there are some compounds that have cables, pipes and the like run beneath the soil, such compounds might need to adopt the interlocking method for easy access).

Gypsum cement would swell in contact with water.
White Portland cement would just hydrate and harden permanently. He should have used white cement. The confusion is people calling both type white cement.

So I should be worried?

I went to my site where a tiler is working this morning and discovered he is using POP cement instead of white cement for sealing the gaps between tiles.

First I was livid, but he is saying there's nothing wrong.

Thank God no loss of life. The Galvanised pipe is not suitable for the amount of load.H-pipe or oil field pipe are highly recommended in such situations.

I'm never a fan of galvanised pipes for water tower.
