Please i need honest response.
How much is a fair price to offer a driver for a day service? The journey doesn't involve a lot of driving around, sometimes it's within lagos, just take me to a destination and wait till I'm done (sometimes the wait gets to evening from morning then we return back home). Other times we go outta lagos to places like ogun state for a meeting, he drives there, waits till I'm done then back home.
What's a fair price please?
PS: 1. I give him money for food while he waits, atleast 1k. 2. The journey is always offline. 3. I fuel the car sometimes too. |

If you're in lagos and have a market for this but not the funds, quote me lets make something work. You provide the market, I provide the funds, we purchase, sell and split profit.
Please note: 1. Your market must be ready to buy and pay as soon as we deliver. 2. We can do also do as much as 1000 bags supplies depending on buyers capacity. 3. You must be honest, this not a one time business, it's an opportunity to create valuable network. |

HerMoney: Hello my people!
I give glory to God for his mercies and faithfulness. After two US denials last year and one Canadian denial in 2018, (all study visas), UK has opened their doors and I'm more than glad to walk through them.
Application Sep 18 Biometrics Sep 28 Decision mail Oct 16 Visa approval/Collection of passport Oct 19 Na travel date I dey plan so.
I want to profusely thank all Nairaland members on this thread, especially those who painstakingly and selflessly answer others' queries and guide them on this journey, (special thanks to Mimilyrics), you guys are the best. You don't know what you do for us. I came in here so dejected and confused but you put me through and now, I'm headed to the next phase of my life at the University of Sussex. May God bless you all. I have mixed feelings right now especially with what happened to our brothers and sisters in Lagos yesterday. It's sad that we have to leave our country in this sorry state even though temporarily. Please let us continue to pray for Nigeria wherever we are or find ourselves. This is our home.
Goodluck to everyone still applying. Don't let anything discourage you whether age or degree or previous visa denials or whatever, dare to go for your dreams and God will make a way. If you need further assistance, please contact the UKEAS offices. They are very helpful as well. Congratulations sir. What course and uni please? |

Seek partnership instead.
Some of you believe your ideas will work, yet you're only interested in selling it and running off. Who sells idea that he says can be worth 500k USD in 2 years for just 1m naira?
The story no blend. Write a better partnership proposal instead. |

pocohantas: What is not true? Did thousands of dollars not come from Nigerians in the diaspora? How does thousands of dollars mean MAJORITY of the funds came from NIDs?
Biko, read well before countering. THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS came from Nigerians in the diaspora, VERY TRUE. Use your Calculator more, add up all the pounds, euros, dollars, e still no reach 62m naira, e no even reach half (30m), it's just about 11m. Problem is when you people see foreign figures, you start imagining numbers... BTC was donated by both home and abroad so lets leave that aside. Point is, give the homebased guys their accolade this time. People in Nigeria contributed 6X more than people in diaspora but you choose to give people in diaspora special mention like they're not part of nigerians or they don't have families here. Well, we move |

pocohantas: Thousands of dollars used in financing feeding and medical bills during this protest, came from Nigerians in the diaspora.
Some have also hit the streets in the abroad.
No, they are not silent. NID are even more sensitive to local news than we homebased. Not true, although people in diaspora played their part, but majority have come from homebased, i did my own little and I know a lot of people here at home that did their part too both as personal donations and as a business/company. |
