Hello everyone.

Please I need a God fearing somebody to give me the steps for this EB2 NIW Visa for someone with a B.Sc Degree and 5 years work experience.

I don't know how and where to start from.

So many information here is getting one confused.

I will make research and do the rest myself.

For example, in this format.
Step 1...write IELTS
Step 2....Apply for Visa Screen
Step 3....Apply to an Employer
Step 4....Send you B.Sc to an Employer.
Etc.

Thanks
You don't need IELTS or an employer for EB-2-NIW

Step 1: Get a free assessment from an immigration lawyer experienced in EB-2-NIW

Step 2: If the outcome of step 1 is positive, you can self petition or use the services of a lawyer

Note: An advanced degree in STEM is an advantage but a bachelor's degree and work experience can still suffice if you can put together a strong petition.

Goodluck

Hi all,

I am about to start the Eb2 NiW application. I have a master’s in business analytics and strategic marketing in Norway and currently working as a data analyst on Norway with 2 months experience.

I am planning on taking the premium processing route but the only challenge is the waiting time.

1) what does this waiting time mean after approval?

2) Does the waiting time affect me after getting an approval, since I am in Norway and not Nigeria.?
Premium processing doesn't reduce the time you have to wait to apply for your visa. What's more important is your priority date which is influenced by your nationality. It is usually the date of filing of your successful EB2-NIW petition. The general advice is to file your petition as soon as possible. The queue is long.

You are not correct sir/ma, I got RFE because I did not submit certificate evaluation, after fixing other things, plus WES, my I-140 was approved in 7 days.

Are you saying you used your WES evaluation report for IRCC for your EB-2 NIW petition?

Hello Everyone,
I just learned about this pathway to the US last week and I feel I have missed a lot. I have read through all the 37 pages of this thread and all I can say is to appreciate the person who opened the worthy thread of discussion.

A little about me, I have a HND & Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's in Construction Management, and a certified member of PMI. I started my career in banking, then moved to the construction industry for about 5 years, did 6 years of facilities management and presently working as a construction project manager for a telco in Nigeria.

With all these, please what are my chances of getting a GC. I have looked at attorney's fees and it is killing ($14k)so I am planning to self petition. Any and every advice will be more than appreciated.

Lest I forget, I did WES verification of my highest qualification for Canadian immigration, is this document valid for EB2

Regarding attorney fees, if you do a thorough search you should be able to fine one for $5-6K

For EB-2, your WES Canada won't be accepted by USCIS. You'll need an evaluation report from WES (U.S) or from another recognized organization
