This is a poorly thought out statement by the Honorable minister. Does he know that abroad people take loans to buy or build houses so it's easier for them to give out their houses on a monthly rate and pay back to the banks monthly as well. In Nigeria, we have a cash based economy. When you build a house, you do it out of pocket. So you cannot expect a landlord to collect monthly rent. 26 Likes 2 Shares |

Now we can say we actually manufacture cars here not just assemble. Innoson should also focus on improving the quality of their cars as vehicles of Chinese origin (I understand the design and many of the parts come from China) are not exactly renowned for durability or safety. |

Just thinking out loud but the fuel scarcity has reached at tipping point. I think we should create threads for different parts of the country where people can tell others which petrol stations have fuel and which do not. It will make things easier for those looking for fuel in these hard times |

The truth of the matter is that APC in the south south and southeast has no sincerity in it. They are just there to greedily retrieve power from PDP and this is why there will always be issues like this. First off, who are the candidates. Truth is, if PDP presents a credible candidate they will actually have a shot. Buhari has been somewhat demystified with the current state of the country. He is no more seen as the 'Messiah' most people thought he was. PDP really needs to stop noise making and focus on breeding a new set of politicians who will actually have a shot per adventure Buhari falls short of expectation. 1 Like |

The reason is that banks have to source the dollar themselves. The CBN sells only a limited amount to them every week. The banks have to buy at black market rates just like you do so they have to at least break even if not make a profit. 2 Likes |

This is true and significant. Boko Haram's ability to carry out organised attacks has been degraded. And this feat has been achieved by our own military and not some mercenaries who work for the highest bidder and could switch sides once they get a better offer. Don't forget Shekinah Glory Int'l Christian Academy. Tuition: 15,000 yearly. The school was formerly in Jos but was shut down to reopen in Abuja and Lagos. The school runs both American and Nigerian curriculum - not for average students. |
