11. Football Nigeria plays better football than America. Nigeria’s under 17 team has won the highest number of world cups than any other country in the world. It’s under 21 team has played in the finals several times. It’s under 23 team has lifted the Olympics and played in finals many times. Its national team has won several nations cup. However, it has never gone beyond round of 16 at the world cup. Check around the football world, Nigerian players are more prominent and active, more celebrated and sort after. The U.S isn’t anywhere close, except for their female football teams, which are also doing great in world football. |
10. Education Google this, "Nigerians most educated in the US" - For YEARS this has been the case. Nigerians, everywhere they go value education so much because they know it is the key to success. Due to the somewhat spoiled nature of Americans, education can be taken for granted. Nigerians value education and its benefits have proven itself here in the States. Nigeria inspires you to hustle, work hard and never give up despite your circumstances. |

9. Richness of land The soil, the nature, the raw products that are in Nigeria...chai, should make our country the world's richest. For some reason though, we look to other countries to supply us with things. It is a shame. Shea butter easily made on the streets in its purest form in Naija costs SO MUCH in America. Why do you think whites, Asians and Lebanese etc are flocking there? We need to wise up and harness our raw goods for export. Also, our people are VERY skilled, talented and creative, other races are hip to this and are making money off Nigerians. |
8. Black men treat their black women better/respect them more than in America If you want to be treated like a queen, marry a Nigerian man. He makes you feel like you are the queen of Sheba. Only here will you have a fellow black man compare you to another race and bash you. There's a trust and tension between Black American men and women |
7. Racism due to skin color At least in Nigeria, you can expect some sort of tribal discrimination amongst people, but in America, you can expect that, racial, class, gender, age and other discrimination are pronounced. You don't usually fear not getting considered for a job in Nigeria because you are black. Many people in America had to hurry and get rid of their accent because they were getting insulted by children and judged by adults. I know we complain about police in Nigeria stopping and asking for money, but here in the States, if you're black and have been stopped by cops, be careful of making sudden movements. Some people will be stopped for traffic violation but end up dead at the end of the confrontation. A lot of times, the officer isn't even held accountable for it. Read up on what has been happening here. |
6. Less fresh food America is all about mass producing food. A lot of foods here have preservatives; even the animals have been genetically modified to produce more of it. This causes obesity and increases illness such as cancer. Fresher food costs way more money, so most just stick to cheaper, more convenient options. Most things here are processed and packaged. At least in Nigeria, the fish, goat, chicken, cow etc were killed just recently and you are getting fresh meat. In America, do you know when the chicken was killed? Or if it died from something else? All you know is that, it costs about $6 and it tastes very different from normal chicken. Don’t even talk about fresh fruits, it doesn’t exist in America |
5. Nigeria contributes more soldiers to U.N Peace Keeping In terms of peace keeping operations around the world, Nigeria is contributing more soldiers than America. Although, U.S is also contributing more material resources as a veto power. |

2019: I will pay workers N50,000 minimum wage if elected – Olawepo Hashim The Presidential flagbearer of the People’s Trust Party, Gbenga Hashim Olawepo has stated that he will implement the sum of N50,000 as minimum wage for Nigeria wnorkers within one year in office, if elected. Speaking at a presidential interactive session in Abuja on Monday, he said, Nigeria has enough resources to pay all workers the said amount if the national leadership was committed to the welfare of Nigerians. He described past political leaders as parasites who were out to satisfy their selfish interest rather than getting interested in Nigerians after cornering their votes. He said, the APC and PDP Presidential candidates were the same who possess low educational qualifications, saying both lacked basic knowledge of how a bogus economy like Nigeria works in the 21st century. “What is the difference between the so-called WAEC certificate and a Diploma that has no foundation? “, he queried. He lamented that none of the presidential candidates has record of business successes, hence, it was difficult for them to initiate business strategies for the nation to yield increased revenue. He said candidates of the APC and the PDP have been in government and were used to spending government money. A situation he posited, was counterproductive to a nation that needs someone that will take it to the next level. The presidential candidate stressed that he will have zero tolerance for the killing of any citizen irrespective of tribe or religion, saying his administration will punish murderers. “My administration will punish killers severely and stop killing of Nigerians for any reason. That is the only way killings can stop. “Moreso, the anti-corruption battle of this government is faulty. You have to pay a living wage so that nobody will collect bribe at the gate.” It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially opened the window of campaign for all Presidential candidates on Saturday. http://dailypost.ng/2018/11/20/2019-will-pay-workers-n50000-minimum-wage-elected-gbenga-olawepo/ |

I’ll defeat Buhari, Atiku through ballot revolution, says Olawepo-Hashim The presidential candidate of Peoples Trust (PT) vowed yesterday to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar through “ballot revolution”. Speaking at a town hall meeting in Abuja, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, told his supporters that he had sufficiently mobilised the grassroots to realise his ambition, adding: “It is going to be a people’s ballot revolution.” He said it was time recycling of old politicians was stopped and frowned at a situation where some persons continue to live on government at the expense of the vast majority of Nigerians. Olawepo-Hashim said 2019 was about how to stop killings and hunger in the land. According to him “It is about how to stop the killings of our people. It is about how to give living wage to people. We will pay N50 ,000 minimum wage to our workers at the one year anniversary of our government. “The government cannot pay decent minimum wage because they lack imagination, creativity and are devoid of capacity to create jobs. “But when elected, I will create four million jobs every year. You can trust me to create jobs because that is what I have been doing for 27 years now.” He slammed successive governments for mismanaging the nation’s economy. “The economy is mismanaged because they have lived all their lives on government’s largesse. “The APC policies have always promoted poverty. After three years in the saddle, the party has increased poverty and hunger in the land while the other party is about corruption, selling government property at cheap prices to themselves.” Olawepo-Hashim declared that PT is the real alternative party that would sustain the people’s revolution. Justifying the choice of Dr Arthur Nwankwo as his running mate, Olawepo-Hashim said the statesman had fought for the greatness of Nigeria, stressing that “he is one of the credible people you can find in the southeastern zone of the country.” “We commit that no part of Nigeria will be treated like a second class citizenry. The choice I made on Nwankwo is to affirm that no section of Nigeria should be made to feel like a conquered people, ” he stated. He said that competent leaders must be voted into offices, adding that “this is time for truly tested and educated leaders who understand how easy 21st Century economy operates to be elected.” He added “What we will give Nigeria is a government and leadership that are determined to grow the economy to four trillion dollar.” Delivering the party chairman’s opening address, Olawale Okunniyi, Secretary of Board of Trustees of PT and the Director General of the National Intervention Movement (NIM), urged Nigerians to embrace a third force as the new alternative to the mainstream parties in the country. He said: “PT is here to pursue political revolution. We are for paradigm shift. We are serious about changing the fortunes of our country for the better. “Our candidate is a product of political revolutionary struggle and the party is built on that tradition, hence, our insistence on pursuing a fundamental political agenda to set the path of the nation right. “That was why we have one of the architects of federalist restructuring in Nigeria, Dr Arthur Nwankwo, as the Vice Presidential candidate of the party.” http://thenationonlineng.net/ill-defeat-buhari-atiku-ballot-revolution-says-olawepo-hashim/ |

MarianaTrench:We are ready to vote him. The level of support Hashim has will shock many in 2019 |
TOPCRUISE:The grassroots is preparing to massively vote for Hashim. He his far better than the two devils. |
koolbe:I guess you are part of those who shared the N1.33b largess from APC. Sorry for you. The real ANN has entered into alliance with 10 other parties under the people's trust and Hashim is the man. Go and check INEC's list, People's Trust has over 200 candidates, but your hijacked ANN has 20. It is this 20 that wants to hijack the party from 200 and you can still open your mouth and talk. Strange |
Oblongata:He himself is from the north |
kingthreat:I am voting for Hashim's People's Trust too. Buhari stands for poverty, Atiku stands for corruption |
b0rn2fuck:We now have the third force. People's Trust. Every trust worthy person would go for people's trust. And we should only go for people we can trust |
cbngov01:You are right that he his the most influential and prepared, but don't forget, he his also the most credible and capable to defeat the 2 devils. If only good people like you can support him to get the job done |
Cutefergieee:Yes, he his from Kebbi. His father, Hashim Abdullah is from Kebbi. His mother is Yoruba |
VivaDeAngelo:Yes |
