APC to win Kwara by election with over 70% margin - Survey https://mrrightsng..com/2018/11/apc-to-win-kwara-by-election-with-over.html A leading pro-Democracy group in Kwara State Nigeria, Kwara Must Change has stated that it can authoritatively report that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will win the November 17th by election taking place in Ekiti, Oke-Ero, Isin and Irepodun federal constituency of Kwara State with over 70% margin. The group stated, in a statement signed by the Kwara Must Change state coordinator, Yusuf Olatunji that the figure was gotten from its recent survey in the state, particularly in the 4 local government areas where a by election is coming up. ‘’Kwara Must Change survey in the area, which commenced about than 3 months ago was concluded this week and the result indicated that the people of Kwara have been well informed about issues and majority of whom are well prepared for Kwara political liberation’’. The survey, according to the group engaged 250 people in each of the 4 local government areas where the by election would be taking place and the result shows that more than 70% of the population are ready to vote against any candidate of the Bukola Saraki led dynasty and as the major opposition party in the state, All Progressive Congress (APC) happens to be a beneficiary of the peoples collective resolve to end Saraki’s dynasty once and for all. Residents in the areas covered noted that, the level of political awareness about the state of affairs in the state is in all time high, as virtually all Kwarans are now more informed than ever before, adding that people who prefer to stick to Saraki led dynasty are doing so for personal reasons. Reason for the upsurge in public consciousness is not unconnected to the rise in the activities of political movements, civil society groups and establishment of private radio stations. It was noted that‘’Even in rural areas with low public engagement, the direct engagement of the people by Kwara Must Change (KMC) grassroot network has significantly increased the level of sensitization. Additionally, the proliferation of private radio stations in the state, particularly radio station that focused on local content also contributed to the astronomic increase in public awareness. It was further noted that, the consistent engagements on these radio stations over time help provide public with valuable insights and perspective about issues that shaped public understanding. Many also observe that, activities of civil and pro-democracy groups like Kwara Must Change significantly contributed to the mass awareness. For example, Kwara Must Change consistent engagement with government on all important public issues was credited to have shaped local perception and gave many inspiration to take definite position about their political choices. the group said https://mrrightsng..com/2018/11/apc-to-win-kwara-by-election-with-over.html |

Mr Rights exclusive: Oby Ezekwesili tricked with fake prophecy to run for 2019 Presidency https://mrrightsng..com/2018/11/oby-ezekwesili-tricked-with-fake.html?m=1 Many were surprised when the Co-Founder of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG), Madam Oby Ezekwesili suddenly joined Nigeria’s presidential race in October 2018 shortly before the close of nomination. A lot of questions were raised about what prompted the former Minister of Education into joining the presidential race at such a die minute without adequate preparation. Mr Rights have now exclusively gathered that Madam Oby Ezekwesili was tricked with fake prophecy to run for the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation. The fake prophecy was allegedly delivered to her in Lagos by a fake pastor known as Dania Emmanuel. Recall that as at August 2018, Madam Oby was yet to be interested in running for the number one position in the country. As a matter of fact, she moderated an event organized by Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) on August 31st 2018 to produce a consensus candidate among the new breed presidential aspirants at the time. However, Madam Oby suddenly joined the presidential race in October, picking the ticket of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) few days before close of nomination and many have been asking what prompted the former minister into making such decision. Mr Rights has exclusively gathered that Madam was tricked by a fake pastor, Dania Emmanue, who was serving the interest of some vested interest in the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). It was revealed that Pastor Dania Emmanuel, who heads House of Praise (HOP) prayer center, located in Lekki, Lagos state Nigeria approached Madam Oby Ezekwesili with a claim of prophecy from God. Sources in the know told this platform that Dania reportedly told the brilliant woman that God ordered him to inform her to run for the office of president, because she is the anointed one to lead Nigeria in 2019 and after delivering the fake prophecy and convincing her to buy the story, he was said to have washed her feet with bottle water, laid hand on her for prayer and also put some anointed oil on her. This prophecy, Mr Rights gathered, was responsible for Madam Oby’s sudden interest in the presidency. She now believed her candidature to be anointed or ordained. However, further investigation by Mr Rights revealed that, Dania Emmanuel is a fake pastor being used by vested interest in the ruling party. He is a former Usher turned pastor at the Redeemed Church of God, who was sent back to Nigeria from their Indonesia branch over allegation of misappropriation of funds. Upon his return to the country, he was protected by some powerful people in the church, the same people now using him for dirty political jobs. Dania is currently a factional Chairman of Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), accused of being a mole in the party. The founding Chairman of the party, Dr Jay Samuel once told Mr Rights in an interview that Dania was planted into the party by some powerful people in the country. Dr Samuel also accused an undisclosed church of being behind the crisis in the party. Also, Dania and Fela Durotoye were both accused of collecting N1.3billion from the All Progressive Congress (APC) through their network with Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, a claim denied by Durotoye. It was then alleged that, ‘’the APC brought in N1billion few weeks to the presidential primary of ANN, among which N250million was given to Dania Emmanuel, a redeemed church pastor’’. ‘’Further investigation also showed that, Dania Emmanuel is embroiled in serious problem with his bank accounts and all his bank accounts remained inaccessible. Findings show that, the bank verification number (bvn) has put Dania integrity into question. It was gathered that he operated different accounts with different names and date of births. This led to shutting his account by all his banks. And as at the time of that report, even the party's account cannot be signed by him because he has a contradictory date of birth’’. This is the same pastor who allegedly gave the false prophecy to Madam Oby and anointed her to be president in 2019, prompting her to join the race. Mr Right’s sources alleged that, Dania is being used by the office of the Vice President to do some dirty jobs for APC. It was alleged that, because the APC felt it has lost confidence of the Nigerian people, particularly in the southern part of the country, they are doing everything possible to prevent serious opposition parties from gaining those votes they have lost. They want as many unprepared candidates to come in from those areas to waste the votes. Madam Oby is known to be a popular person from South east with capacity to get considerable support from that region. The reason for instigating her to run through fake prophecy is to ensure that the votes of people from south east, who are known to be very hostile to the APC is splitted and wasted. Understanding that the intelligent woman may not buy into any shady deal that may tarnish her image, and considering how they have severally humiliated her over her demand for the return of Chibok and Dapchi girls, the APC through office of the VP decided to trick her into joining the race through fake religious prophecy. Knowing that she is a religious person, getting an unknown pastor to approach and inform her of a supposed prophecy from God may get her to believe the genuineness of the prophecy. Mr Rights also gathered that the APC, through office of the Vice President is doing everything possible to waste votes of the young people by sponsoring several unprepared candidates to run so that the votes of aggrieved young people, who may not vote for the APC can be wasted. More details of the fake prophecy given to Madam Oby to be published soon. |

100 Kwara communities without electricity for over 100 years https://mrrightsng..com/2018/11/100-kwara-communities-without.html?m=1 Over 70 communities in Gwanara district of Baruten Local government area of Kwara State and another 30 communities in Aawe District of Asa Local Government Area in Kwara state are yet to have power supply for over 100 years after their creation. In a report by News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), head of Aawe District, Alhaji Oba Daudu-Suleiman confirm the development. ‘This is not the beautiful oil city that we used to know’ The district head who disclosed this to NAN in Aawe on Monday, described the development as unacceptable. He said the non provision of electricity and other infrastructural facilities like good roads in the communities had retarded the growth and development of the areas. The district head listed some of the affected communities to include: Olowo, Atere, Elelu, Ogunbo, Yede, Ogundeji, Danbudo, Okoolowo, Afo, Ologede, Layeri, Ajengba, Afonta and Ode Magaji, among others. He appealed to the state government to come to the aid of the communities as a way of bringing development to the grassroots. He said the provision of electricity in rural communities would curb rural-urban migration and create employment for teeming youths in the areas. Daudu-Suleiman also urged the state government to urgently find lasting solution to the power outage confronting Aawe in the last five years. He said that the power outage was caused by rainstorm, adding that the development had crippled social and economic activities of the town. An indegene of Baruten, Kayode Gobir stated that ‘’in my town (chikanda) and 70 others, we have never had light for once here since I was born and i am now 23 year old. I never experienced anything like electric light in my town except generators and it was said to have been like that for over 100years. In 2002/2003, late Governor Alabi Lawal try to fix our electricity, they installed the poles and everything, but they couldn’t complete it before he left office. However, since 2003 till date, no government ever did anything to complete it; neither did they do anything else. As a matter of fact, people now use those electric poles for spreading cloths. Permanent Secretary, state Ministry of Energy, Mr Sunday Moses, who also spoke to NAN confirmed the revelation of the district head, adding that the ministry was aware that several communities across the state were yet to enjoy electricity. He said that the state government was working round the clock, within its available resources, toward ensuring that electricity got to the nooks and crannies of the state, to bring more development. “Several communities have written letters of request to the ministry, we have informed the state government of their requests, we are working round the clock on the issue,“ he said |

Olawepo Hashim explained why CBN has failed to grow Nigeria’s economy in the past 20 years https://mrrightsng..com/2018/11/olawepo-hashim-explained-why-cbn-has.html The Peoples Trust (PT) and third force presidential candidate, Mr Olawepo Hashim has set out the criteria to select a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor to restructure the economy for growth and indigenous technology should he emerge as President of Nigeria in 2019. The global business mogul stated that, the governor of central bank must be somebody who aligns with the vision to completely restructure the Nigerian economy, to make it a productive economy. ‘’You cannot be a central bank governor that is beholding to the interest of money lender almost in the past 20 years and the bankers and money lender have been controlling the central bank and the central bank has been ordered along their interests rather than along the mandate of building a solid productive economy and creating employment’’. He remarked on the current practice by CBN: ‘’They only see employment creation as CSR (corporate social responsibility) to demonstrate that they are intervening. You are not just supposed to be making tokenist measures of those issues, it should be the core of their mandate. They should manage the monetary policy in such a way that the employment is high, interest lending rate is low, manufacturer expanse, infrastructural expanse. This must be what they are doing but right now they are taking money from the economy and just financing bonds and crowding out the real sector’’. He said. The frontline candidate who has been endorsed by 10 political parties made this known during a lengthy interview session with selected journalists in Abuja during the weekend. Commenting further on the economy, Hashim states that ‘’Manufacturers cannot take money because all the real money has been taken out in bonds at high interest rates and then civil servants take this money and go and change it in the dollar market. That’s what has been happening’’ he said. Explaining what he is doing differently, he said ‘’We have been very clear on our road map to build the economy and to make it a $4 trillion economy. We have been clear with our strategy to build infrastructure. We have been clear with our strategy to build indigenous technology which is key to being a self-reliant economy otherwise even when you have all the money, from sales of primary products assuming the price is even high, it is going to be a logistic nightmare for you to be importing everything that you need’’. He said. ‘’The critical issue is to have the technological base to be able to produce majority of what you consume locally and at relatively competitive costs and that means a lot of reforms even in the financial sector. I mean you have to deepen the financial sector. Investors and local industrialists and manufacturers should be able to access money at single digit interest rate, adding that, a Chinese manufacturer cannot be taking at four per cent and a Nigeria manufacturing taking at 25 per cent and you want to be competitive. So there is already a 21 per cent differential in terms of your own cost of money’’. ‘’An important part of this strategy will be also from day one when I am going to be making my appointments of who is going to be the governor of the central bank when I become president’’. He concluded. |
balraf:It is the duty of the government to expand the economy to ensure we get people out of poverty, but unfortunately, those running the government presently are too ignorant, hence the need for competent hands like him. So, we should support Olawepo Hashim who truly understand the problem and well equipped with creative knowledge for the solution. Hashim is the man for 2019 Let's support him to make Nigeria better |
