Thank you so much. We will expedite actions on the new admission letter.

This case is easy. Just obtain a new admission letter and address a letter to IRCC notifying them of the refusal reason and that you have obtained an updated admission letter and ask them to kindly reconsider your application ion.. attach you appeal letter and the new offer letter and send to their email. That should do.

Woow! This was an approval if only u submitted an updated admission letter

Pardon me to say this but I feel your cousin was at fault of not differing the admission immediately, you entered the month of April or May....though normally cic should have asked for an updated admission letter but you were meant to apply for an extended updated admission letter and info cic via mail or webform that you have contacted this school about the new admission letter... cic would definitely hold on...

But as of now...I think wat u can do is reapply with the updated admission and with the exact docs u applied with initially. on your Loe, explain that you have included an updated admission letter...thats all u need to tackle the refusal reason...

Finally, introduce your cousin to this forum....let him/her be educated

Hello Gurus in the house,

I am posting this for my cousin who was just delayed. The only reason stated for the delay was that the admission letter has expired. I will appreciate any useful information from the house on how to address this. The school resumption and last date for registration was stated on the admission letter as May 17, 2019, but CIC didn't take a decision on the application until that deadline passed and they rejected it. Her application also went beyond the processing time, and she sent CSE severally to notify them after 9 weeks of normal processing has passed to inform them of the impending deadline. Her upfront medicals was updated as passed since April 5, 2019 too, and rejection letter came in yesterday (May 23, 2019).

This was what was indicated in the letter:

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

• Your letter of acceptance, required by subsection 219(1) of the Regulations, has expired. If your acceptance is renewed/extended, consideration may be given to reconsidering your decision.

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

Below is her timeline of application:

Application submitted online (with upfront medicals): Jan 21, 2019
Biometrics: Jan 22, 2019
Medical passed: April 5, 2019
Correspondence for delay: May 23, 2019).

She has informed the school today to see if an extended admission letter can be issued for September term, but we are interested in ways/how to reopen this application, and not reapply completely, if that is possible.

Thank you in anticipation of your response(s).

I finally got my Saskatchewan nomination updated on the CIC portal and got my ITA today as well. This is a quick update for anyone that may encounter a similar issue from SINP after getting their nomination. I highlighted what to do below:

- DO NOT manually update your nomination on the CIC portal, it has to be done by the SINP and the CIC will notify you to accept the nomination like you will accept the express entry ITA. A couple of people advised me to manually update my profile when I asked around, it would have been wrong and I don't know what that would have led to.
- After waiting for about 2 weeks after the nomination was sent to me, I emailed SINP back for clarification on what to do and notified them that my account has not been updated. In the email, I included name, SINP application number, and nomination certificate number. I then called several times and couldn't get through, so I left voice messages.
- About a week later, they replied my email and apologized for the delay and said they've now notified CIC. Few hours after the email, I received a CIC notification and logged in to my portal to accept the nomination. Then the 600 point was added to my existing CRS score.
- CRS Score before nomination was 398, it became 998 after the nomination was accepted. It's been a very longggggg wait and praying, hoping, planning and staying in the EE pool to increase my score. I hope this helps someone one day too and I hope it encourages someone not to give up.

May God perfect everything for each and every one of us on this journey.

Hello everyone, please I need your help on what to do after nomination by SINP.
I got ITA for Express Entry Category November, I submitted in January. My status changed to in process in February and I was nominated in March.

Since then I have been checking my CIC account to see the 600 points or to accept nomination, but nothing yet. Does anyone know what to do at this point? Or how long I need to wait or who to contact. I will appreciate your kind response. Thank you

Hello,

No, I haven't updated the CIC Account. The instruction sent as part of the nomination says "The SINP will notify CIC that you and your accompanying family members have been nominated, and CIC will contact you through your CIC account." That's why I'm holding on, I have emailed SINP for clarification too.

Thank you.

Hi

I don't know if you've gotten a response.

Did u update this information on your CIC Account

For you to get 600 points u need to update the part of the form asking if u have nomination... i might b wrong but that's what i think.. i doubt its instant...

i hope this made sense
