Raxxye: I think the most annoying thing in this unfolding turn of events is the deafening silence on the part of the employers; no statement from the permanent secretary, commissioner for education or the governor! It is as if 13000 men and women are being taken for granted, and it is most unfortunate!

If you are owing someone and it is time when his debt is due to be paid, it is only reasonable that you pay him up, or at least calm his nerves by pleading for more time if the money isn't available then. Government's silence at this time is the hieight of insensitvity!

Hopesweet: Whether u believe it or not, biometric registration is not a criteria for the payment. But if still doubting, then wait till April next year, when they will finish capturing, documenting and sorting out the names of those to be paid. May be We've forgot that we are to resume work on the second week of next month, being 13th Jan., 2014. I wonder how they will finish capturing 10,000 teachers in just few weeks, for payment to commence by February. Well! I believe God is at work, (he never sleep nor slumber). Wishing all a prosperous new year in advance.

barika2011: To be paid by feb. is not even certain if the amount we would be paid ain't known till now as some of us are saying...forget biometric its not a must to do to get paid....for example our apl was suppose to go with the posting letter but have we not all bin posted and have even been supervised,dats to tell u dat getting paid has nothing to do with biometrics,but some people at the board are lazy to collate all nominal roll info so as to execute payment..even dat of ube is even fair, ppsb is the worst,dey do nothing but give apl to dose dat didn't even write the first test let alone verification...as per payment it won't get to feb at all,u can count on dat....no new teacher is resuming on an empty stomach and empty bank account with piled up debt....trust me...

Many this time last year couldnt say dat. But its fact, dey will pay us.

Sorry for the late response,I dey find money for xmas as dem neva pay us......back to the mata,..my colleague wen to the secretariat yesterday and saw a notice pasted informin dat biometric has bin postponed till further notice..as regards payment we are crossing our fingers
