They are all fighting for their pockets. If you know, you know. ![]() |
Presidency said food prices have reduced. Minister said it it a lie. In Burna Boy's voice: Odi woro si woro Make we dey watch the film. A house/government divided against itself cannot stand. |
Business that kills and destroy. There would have been no problem if we don't have allegations of killing, farm rustling and the likes. Even if those claims are not true, there is no smoke without fire. They should therefore keep their business to their zone. |
The loot self shock him. On what basis was an oil block allocated to him? What did he do to get one? What didn't my grandfathers do to get one? Who did the sharing? Who and who got? Who and who did not get? Truth be told, these folks may have shared the destiny of this country called Nigeria. We without rich grandparents are just hustling for the crumbs. |
Saying Igbo cannot become President because that's the meaning of Naira is baseless. Yet the corrupt Igbo leaders keep embezzling the Naira ![]() Let an Igbo man who knows his onions come out, from a big political party and contest. If the people want him, they vote him, if not, he loses. This kind of thinking and statements are what further divides us along ethnic lines. |
ChiefJusticeFuc:I'm not reasoning like an Ab0ki like you said. Irrespective of those who want her there, Nigerians should also support her. Yea, her being there may not openly benefit Nigeria, cos she can't be obviously bias, but it boost the image of the country. She being the first African to hold that post is a plus. One day, people like us too will vie for international positions and will need support form home. And your comment above says a lot about your thinking I must say. |
But you didn't tackle your godfather or the act, Mr Eliot. Even if na with one nice movie. See, when the godfatherism is favouring them, you won't here a word, but once the table turns, expect war. Their matter na to sit down look. |
What can we do to help her into that position? We can't vote, can't rig, maybe campaign but pray. Having another Nigerian head an international organisation like that would be a plus for the country. |
Unfortunately, our religious organisations have either knowingly or unknowingly help make matters worse. Most of the corrupt individuals in our society are members of one religious body or the other. But the leaders of most of those Churches, Mosques or Shrine usually keep quiet, keep welcoming and praying for them. Despite obvious signs that they are corrupt. Plus the stories of financial mismanagement and theft emanating from our religious bodies no dey help matter. Pastor embezzle money, Alfa caught with money ritual stuffs, Shrine priests requesting for human parts for sacrifices. The fire has travelled to and is burning on the river, where we least expected. |
toyinjimoh:How did I spoil things? Those two I mentioned have large fanbase and medium. They should use it once a while to speak about our society. It earns them more respect. It necessarily doesn't have to be about politics, but maybe a piece to address some other vices in our society. Rape, greed or any other theme. 2 face, Nice, Falz, Idris Abudlkarim and many more did it, Michel Jackson also. |
LLMG:Amen. I said "Most Likely" not will. I didn't speak with 100% certainty |
In P-square's voice: "Na Audio" With the incessant policy changes, increase taxes Lagos is bringing up here and there, increased electricity tariff and unstable yet expensive price of internet data, we're not ready for that curve. Some basic things needs to be in place for that digital revenue to grow. Unfortunately, we carry one step forward and three backward most times. |
Wetin t**O go cause hen, Ask Samson, David and the likes. That one problem with most mechanics. They pose with customer's car, catch cruise and sometimes girls with it. But when kasala like this burst, they turn to "Mercy-seeking" people. That car may have long been sold or refurnished that even when the owner sees it, he will find it to believe that he is looking at his car. |
Haha. Someone should tell the old man, the die is cast, the damage is done and the worse has already happened. Baba won't be contesting again. Guess he didn't see the writing on the wall after the first term or he chose to ignore. Now he can see things in 3D. I pray we don't make the same mistake come 2023. I should be outta here by God's grace sha. |
During campaigns, Corona Virus temporarily disappears from the state. But when it comes to opening schools, the government will remember the almost dead virus. University of Benin is holding virtual matriculation, but campaigns that brings thousands together without social distancing and nose masks continue undisturbed. Here are my submissions about that Edo elections. 1. Our leaders don't really care about us like their profess. 2. They are all the same. Both the APC and PDP flag bearer. The only difference between them is that one is currently in power while the other is aggressively pursuing power 3. The elections will most likely be bloody. 4. As usual, expect court cases after the elections. So the first rule of electioneering in Nigeria comes to play. "Thou shall not lose the first election". Secure the sit first. And then you can use the power of incumbency to influence those election court cases when you get there. |
That song was from the heart. That song is for the black man, for the oppressed round the world, for the marginalised and those being constantly pushed to the wall. One day, the monsters they're raising in us will fight back. Many foreign reviewers have been crediting him for that piece. It is not everytime you release party and dance hall music. The likes of David and Whizkid should imbibe that culture too. Burna Boy did an amazing job on that. |
No, not totally true sir. People make comments based on their level of understanding and perception. Unfortunately, many of this government's media persons have goofed severally. Telling obvious lies and defending the 'undefendable'. That is not to say we don't have propagandists and obvious liers, but in all honesty Sir, many of the opinion you read on Nairaland, Twitter and Facebook are honest opinions and feelings of the average Nigerian. |
It's a lie from the pit of hell. My house is unmetered. We pay 3k a month previously.. Guess what? Our bill for September they brought some days ago is 13k Asked them why? They said government has increased electricity tariff. They will have to come and disconnect their light last. We are our greatest enemies in this country. |
It is finished How much is needed to revamp one of our dead refineries? How much do we need to build a modular refinery? But no, some folks prefer to embezzle the mulla the easy way |
Please who has been able to pay his/her fees online? Or it is a must to pay in a bank. Been trying to pay but the thing hasn't been going ![]() |
No special information. Have you gone for your screening? I just think its better if we in the same dept come together to exchange information. buzzlove: |
Have you been screened? You can only generate the payment stuff if you've been screened. tunnamaniah: |
Any Cell Biology and Genetics applicant in the house? |
oluyinkavic:I booked/scheduled the appointment on my portal. |
apanbobo:Yes. Was screened yesterday. |
Please house, what is the Screening all about? Is it an oral examination or what? What do they want to check? |
Hello people. I want to get a new phone in the range of 35,000 and 38,000. My phone of choice should have 4G and strong battery. After careful checking of Jumia and Konga, I arrived at these two devices Huawei Y5 2019 - 35,000 on Jumia and Infinix Note 4 Pro -37,500 on Konga. If you were in my shoes, which would you go for? I'm open to other suggestions though. |
