From the amount of goodwill messages pouring in for this man, we can conclude he was a good man. History also justify such claim. What will be said of you OBJ? Can an overwhelmingly number of Nigerians describe you with good words? Time will tell |
The news here doesn't change anything. Only a number of ballots can be affected. |
His tweet or I don't believe it. |
Abeg, they should do fast and look for plants and animals there. Or see if we can rare animals and plant crops there. This Nigeria's case is getting out of hand, just maybe the Moon can be our new haven. But cost of transportation or space travel nko? Make I go double my hustle, then talk with Elon Musk. |
They'll soon move back. They're only guaging the mood of the people and things. They know it is still too early, blood dey hot. In two or three weeks time, they'll be back with caution. But we need LASTMA now, they are the consistutionalised traffic officers in Lagos State. Police should just do minimal job on the road. They'll all be back soon ![]() |
Says a woman who sacked close to 500,000 Npower volunteers without a Kobo to start their lives. God will judge you and your master. |
The rich keeps getting richer. They get tax rebate and other financial privileges. The poor keeps getting poorer. They pay full taxes, get swindled, harassed by police, waste time in traffic and are at the receiving end of most ugly government decisions. Not just here in Nigeria alone, its like that all around the world. That's they way the financial system of the world is designed. Let's hustle so we too can cross that line between being comfortable to being rich. |
Lobatan All governors and the president are thinking of ending the #Endsars protests, some folks within the party are thinking of 2023 and ending the party. I pity APC's presidential candidate for the next election. Buhari knows he's not going for another term and has started showing us his true colour and the typical second term Nigerian public office holder's behaviour. He has forgotten that his party and next presidential candidate will account for his actions and inaction. Anybody he campaigns for in 2023 will lose expressly. Let he keep deafening his ears to the agitation of the Nigerian youths he once called lazy. They kuku can't enter in 2023, let them scatter the party to pieces ![]() |
Just get a good VPN On the contrary, that will mean huge loss for the telecommunications companies and other I Think related it dependent coys. Expect MTN and a some other companies to begin finalising plans to exit Nigeria then. That will also lead to the grandfather of all protest. Twitter warriors will now join the live protest. And surprisingly to the government, Nigerians will still be tweeting. They better perish that thought and dead the idea ![]() |
![]() They never expected it. The international attention the #Endsars movement has got. Make him just do pass himself on Twitter, make them delete him account. Even Donald Trump gets censured on Twitter. These old men don't know The internet is another country on its own with no President or presidential aid. I'm sure one or two more funny tweets for him, will land him in Twitter oblivion. |
At least, the police were more civil in Lagos than most parts of the country. Kudos to the governor for that. Some intolerant leaders like I won't want to mention names would have given uneeded orders. But Mr Governor, this your 'identification' is coming late. After IG don ban am abi. Well done. |
Let me go and get land then. ![]() They just want to open the oil well of farming for the masses. |
Unfortunately, very little will be done to get the root cause of her death to prevent such from occurring again. There was a country. RIP to the dead. When people die anyhow within our country, how can our leaders complain about its own citizens been killed or maltreated in foreign land. Charity I was taught begins at home. But in our case, unexplainable killing of Nigerians begins from Nigeria |
![]() Maybe we should EndNigeria sef. Ordinary protest against brutality and killings, people still died in numbers. How many people died in the USA when they protested against their police some months ago? How many people lose their lives in South Africa during protests? It's a pity where we are, it even sadder looking at where we're heading. Unfortunately, the war against police brutality may not have ended. Imagine these SARS officers in other offices within the police force. Imagine them being in the position to grant bail, Imagine them being in the position to interrogate suspected criminals. Criminals interrogating criminals. Many of those guys aren't fit for anything close to securing lives and properties The last may not have been heard about police brutality. This is just the beginning. Unfortunately, it will be more coded now RIP to the souls of the departed. |
![]() Brother who? |
Which projet abeg? Project to re-loot our treasury again? Project to turn Nigeria to Lagos? Project for him to establish himself as kingmaker in Nigeria Guess what he did and is still doing in Lagos with the tax money has been brought to public view. He maybe wants to replicate such nationally. He has the citizenship right to contest for any electoral position, but Nigerians will have the final say. |
Instead of them to ambadon the match in protest, they went ahead and thankfully, they lost. We need physical demonstration from people like them to drive home the point, not social media posts that the President and his people won't see. |
So no be today the agitation start sef. Nigerian police has been corrupt since creation. Unfortunately, if we don't get them reformed or banned now, our kids in the next 30 years or so will protest again. Our fathers started it, we must end it, else our children will inherit it. ![]() |
What do you expect from a beneficiary of the government of the day. If we were in your position, we will say such too. But let the masses be the judge..... Let their standard of living under the three regimes you mentioned be the yardstick.... Let the number of deaths and attacks Nigeria have witnessed be used a measurement..... Thieves rarely call their colleagues thieves. |
Na here them wan take catch this man ![]() What will it take the current senate or PR officer of U.I to clear the air once and for all. We dey enjoy the movie Sha. Let's keep watching. |
Nigeria is not Edo. Inasmuch as he has the constitutional right to contest, is he the best candidate the PDP can give us? Yes, he has the money. Does he have the character? Trust? and love of Nigerians? Imagine Atiku against the Lagos warlord in 2023? God, please fly me out of Nigeria before 2023. |

The keep attacking each other. Yet the difference between them is like the difference between six and half a dozen. PDP ruled for 16 years, what happened? APC continued from where they stopped and continued in the same direction. Even though Baba messed up with his Independence Day speech, I must say, these PDP governors have very little moral standing to castigate him. What have many of them done in their state that is different from what their APC counterparts are doing. But like some folks will say, let's ignore the messenger and focus in the message. |
If na me nko? Those castigating him, you'll say more than that if you were in his position. But we all know the truth. Thankfully, he is older than many of us. He experienced the Nigeria of YESTERDAY and is part of those that have led us to where we are TODAY. let me keep quiet. |
Our leaders are a reflection of we the citizens. We deserve the kind of leaders we have. We keep tolerating them. Awolowo once said the difference between some tribes in Nigeria is far more than the difference between Nazi and Soviet Union. Even here on Nairaland, we the 21st century youths are divided by ethnicity. The day we wake up from our slumber, them we will chart a course to our greatness. But till then... |
Every politician in Nigerian inherited corruption and debts from the previous administration. The difference is that if they're both from the same party, they'll keep quiet. If from opposing parties, they'll tell us. Oga, this is not new. Get working sir. |
One just entered my room this morning. If I catch it, it will die by hanging and firing squad at once. |
How about the local people that don't get such intelligence? If the Chief security officer of a state can be attacked with such frequency and voraciously. It speaks volumes of the safety of lives and property in that part of the country. Why hasn't such intelligence been long used to defeat the sect? The governor should be careful, he has his life to live. He should remember his wife and kids. I pray nothing happens to him. A living dog is better than a dead lion. |
Good and impressive, But will he be given the freedom to express himself, his youthfulness and ideas? Time will tell. When you join them, you lose part of your normal good self, a sage use to tell me then. |
But they agreed to suspend the strike. They ain't see anything yet. This should be a wake-up call for labour. - They should demand the minimum wage obtainable in Saudi Arabia. - They should demand for the work conditions obtainable in other top Oil producing countries. But what do I know? ![]() Labour that has been betraying it's members since the start of this regime ![]() |
