Everybody is singing 7 years without a trophy as if it is all that matters. I started supporting Arsenal within this years of trophyless seasons. Not that i dont like glory but i enjoy myself watching Arsenal play beautiful football. SURELY, trophy will come but we have to show solidality to this team and manager at this trying time. No team is destined to win a trophy. Players are not only motivated by money, but passion from fans.Ask Samir Nasri, he will tell you that he left because Arsenal fans lack passion. Win a game and everybody will be happy, at defeat, they call for Wengers head and criticise all the players. Again, it is a shame.

Well for me, I will continue supporting this team and manager until, trophy wining clubs start sharing money to their fan. RUBBISH!

The issue with arsenal is not money,  money or lack of it did not make us lose the Carling Cup final, did not cause indiscipline which made van P get himself sent off against Barca in the Nou Camp
Money did not make us play poorly against the da Silva and 7 defenders in the FA Cup.
Money did not account for the poor play at the San Siro,

So for those of us that are not happy with the state of things at the club, dont come here sounding so superior and telling we are not fans of the club

Arsenal captain Robin van Persie has reportedly told Spanish newspaper MARCA that he would be "excited" by a move to Real Madrid.


Van Persie, 28, is out of contract in the summer of 2013 and, although Arsenal plan to hold talks over an extension before the end of the season, talk has been gathering pace that Barcelona and Madrid plan to make a move.

"I am happy to hear of the interest of a club as important as Real Madrid," Van Persie is quoted as telling MARCA. "Of course I would be excited to play there."

However, he added: "I do not think Arsenal will be willing to negotiate."

Former Madrid director Jorge Valdano does not believe the club need Van Persie and has suggested the Camp Nou would be a more appropriate destination.

"Van Persie is needed more at Barcelona than at Real Madrid in my opinion," Valdano told El Larguero. "Madrid are already pretty close to having perfect squad."

Van Persie is currently the Premier League's top goalscorer, having netted 22 goals in his 24 appearances so far this season.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has played down suggestions Andrei Arshavin could join Anzhi Makhachkala or former club Zenit St Petersburg before the Russian transfer window closes this month. "I expect him to be here after February 24 and that is clear," Wenger said

from the estimate she needs approx 700k for the surgeries and about 200k for miscelleneous expenses (feeding, accomodation etc)

Total net amount rcvd so far is 121 + 183k (729 GBP @ 250 say) = 304k.
This leaves a shortfall of about 596k.

So R231, based on your latest discussion with perx what are her plans to meet this shortfall i.e. what can be gotten from family etc.
This now gives you(the group) and us what we still need to do as donations are seeming to be tapering off
