I looked on google on the requirements for a visit/business visa to Norway and it looks really cumbersome, can anyone help simplify or list the procedure here .

I'll appreciate your kind response.

I don't agree with you. My friend got USA visa in February. He has never travelled out of Nigeria to any country in his entire life. He has even returned to Nigeria after the conference in the USA.

Not that I agree with the no virgin passport thing but February is months ago ,the Canada ish wasn't a pain in the neck then as much as now.

Hi, Urecee you should have already booked an appointment with the embassy by now, if you have not done so i don't think you will get an appointment date before august now, but that aside, if you are current with the news Canada has asked the US in Nigeria to be more strict in giving visa now and all the fake document no longer apply, so,
1, make sure all document you are taking are real and take all the originals,
2, Since you say your husband has some money, have him deposit some money into your account like 500k up wards.
3, a part from the first deposit your husband needs to be making monthly cash deposits into your account to build up flow and traffic on your
bank statement.because from what i hear now if you are given visa the embassy collects your bank statement and checks with the bank so if you have a fake bank statement you can be ban from the US.
4, what ever amount you have on your bank statement make sure you leave it in your account till you collect your visa from DHL if you are
given.
5. As a woman going alone make sure you stress that you are married with kids and your husband can not follow you for now because he is
busy with work and make sure you also show that you are make some form of income here in Nigeria.
6. don't tell them you are going to stay with anyone, do a hotel booking online for the period of your stay, you have to make them see that you
plan of returning to your country.

The next available date is oct 23rd oo..........I am finished . I have a conference on the 23rd of August . I have been checking and checking. And i have payed for this conference

Nonrefundable right hope it is not too expensive?
see if you can get an expedited interview appointment, if not call the organizers to know you can use this payment for the next conference .

This is why we should learn to use the 'register to pay later' option till visa us granted since the vo might not check the conference paperwork.

everything don change for embassy ooo, they more stricter now.. If u r going for vacation i think is very difficult to get visa now.. My observations thr today shaa.

Both cannot be true. One has to be false. Well if you haven't seen it, then call the embassy. You will be appropriately guided.

@Bisolanio, this is an example of what I was referring to. Someone wants to travel all the way to the US. If one does not learn how to research then how can one get the visa or make right choices if given...

@concho haven't you learnt one or two things? Fill a new form. Read up and if you still don't get it, I'm sure the gurus will help knowing that you have done something on your own.

From what I have learnt here ...

You might need to fill another form or take a passport photo to the interview.

If u choose to fill another form ensure the form code match the one on d appointment slip so u don't get turned back (I can't explain how u will do that but the gurus will throw more light )
