Officialgarri: Why are you so aggressive all of a sudden?
I hope you have watched the video as well, so show me the DSS that went into the court room? The officials didn't go past the lobby.... So where's the gun, where's the DSS?
Sowore sighted the officials who were going to carry out their duty and he fled back into the court.
If the DSS were hell bent on apprehending Sowore instead of allowing Falana to drive him away, do you think anyone can stop them? Then who was the man in suit that pinned Sowore to the ground that could not be identified, that one too is Sowores supporter, abi? Somebody was being dragged around that half of his bottom is open to the public and some people are saying it was staged. So within a twinkle of an eye they have rehearsed the scene, abi? Many are sick in the head here. Anyway, i know that Sowore supporters dont wear suit. |

passwelle: Only in Africa will such falsehood be disseminated and wholly accepted by the vast majority. He has such a talent that enables him to disappear after an accident, but rather than use that to move around, he will rather buy a car, daily buy fuel, spend time in traffic, pay insurance on a car monthly, take a lift to ascend in high rise buildings, visit an embassy and queue to procure a visa, and pay for a ticket to travel abroad etc obviously you are not an african. you have not heard what is called 'egbe' in yorubaland. it doesnt work in the way you just listed but jazz always have repercussion and it can fail anytime. |

jesmond3945: Your dependants are your children You dont need statement since your wife is taking care of you, she is the one that would submit statement. If her statement is not enough then you have to submit yours You need to present family pictures and chat and call logs Birth certificate of all your kids Your landed properties too Your wife need to give you some docs as well. Thanks for your response. This is where i get confused because my question is that do i have to submit any documents they have not asked me to submit because after completing the application, they listed the documents they require of me to submit. Its just that i want to be careful so as not to do 'oversabi' cause 'wahala' for myself. |

bitbybit123: My wife was given 3 years tier2 general visa to uk since last year and thus the whole family has to apply to meet her now. The company where she works has given us a maintenance letter for a month and after i have filled an application for my family and submitted, the UKVI said the documents i will submit are:
1. The passport or travel document
2. Evidence of my wife permission to enter or stay in the UK.
3. Criminal record certificate for Nigeria
4. Proof of relationship to your partner - for example, marriage or civil partnership certificates
5. A marriage certificate, or a reasonable equivalent.
My questions now are: 1. No mention was made of me or my wife bank statement of account and a friend whose family is already there is saying that i have to submit my statement of account despite the fact that UKVI have not asked for it. This is confusing to me as i think i have to submit ONLY the documents required of me to submit. 2. What other proof of relationship to ones partner do they expect to be submitted beside marriage certificate? 3. While filling the form, i said i have no dependants here in nigeria besides my children who are going with me. I need to know whether that will not count against me. But honestly, i have dependants but they dont have international passports because i have to fill in the passport details.
Please i need reply from those who have done this successfully before. Thank you all. Waiting |

Inkredible: Ask your wife about your options in doing "Carer jobs."
If she's a nurse, she will set you up fast.
No, I'm not talking from experience and I don't have much information on that. ok thanks |

Inkredible: When you arrive, follow ur wife to her office and see if you can get a carer job for now.
After sometime, re-evaluate your options.
My two cents. I dont understand. Did you mean i should follow her to hospital where she works and find out if i can get a job in medical line? How possible when i studied Mechanical Engineering and she is a nurse? Guess you are talking from experience but pls throw more light on it for me. |

Please i need an honest advise from experienced Nairalanders especially those residing in united kingdom. First i need to briefly introduce myself. I have a B.tech in Mechanical Engineering but has been working as a Maths and physics teacher in a private school in lagos. I also have a certificate of proficiency in computer repair and maintenance and autocad. My proficiency in autocad aided by my background in Engineering has also helped me to work occasionally as a site supervisor on building construction. I have a wife who is a matron in a public hospital. She has just got a job in U.K. and we all need to migrate but she has to be there first and work for 3-4 months so as to prepare the ground for us to join her. My questions now are: 1. What is the job prospect for me in uk based on my own qualification and experience? 2. Is there anything i need to do here before leaving in order to enhance my chance of getting a better job there? 3. What are the mistakes peculiar to new comers that we need avoid making.
Thanks. |
