nairalanduseles: i will love to see a pic of u when u clock 40
My Dear black women that eat well and work out never get old. I am serious about both and will age with grace. Even now I don't look my age and never will. See below, healthy lifestyles lead to long lasting youth, all those women pictured with their children are over 40 and have the same thing in common what they put in their mouth and what they do with their bodies.
lagbaja: I applaud the efforts of the Buhari administration in growing that local rice production. However I do not allude to the hallucinations and fantacies being propagated by the minister. These lies should stop. Contrary to his claim, Rice imports from Thailand have actually increased by about 20% between 2016 and 2017. Here is the data presented below.
1. 98% of rice imported into Benin is destined from Nigeria. 95% of imported rice into Nigeria is smuggled from Benin. The import figure for Rice on the link below shows that Rice exports from Thailand to Benin increased from 1.4million metric tons to 1.8million metric tons. Though the export figure for Nigeria drops from 600k metric tons to 23k metric tons. This shows that our rice imports have actually increased and smuggling through the borders is on the rise where as rice imports through Nigerian ports have reduced. We are loosing import tax revenue and we are deceiving ourselves that we are self sufficient in rice production.
maclatunji: See how the price of bread changed with your opinion?
Shame shame shame!!!!
Thailand expects to export more than 11 million tons of rice in 2017, the country’s rice export association said on Wednesday (27/12), a record high for the world’s second-biggest exporter of the grain.
“This year it should be 11.2 million tons because right now the commerce ministry’s figures for January to November are at 10.4 million tons already and for December it will definitely … be around 700,000 to 800,000 tons,” Chookiat Ophaswongse, honorary president of the Thai Rice Exporters Association, told Reuters on Wednesday.
Thai rice prices were also in line with that of competitors, he said, which helped exports in 2017.
“This year will be a record high. We have never reached 11 million tons,” he said. “But still, we exported less than India.”
deomelllo: 1.. The fact that transmission system collapsed doesn't alter the fact that our power situation is getting better.
2. We are still saddled with the same grid from since independence and 16 years of PDP, largest oil earnings in the history and the $20 billion power funds they looted did not fix the grid.
3. We are today generating more power than the grid can handle so what is the government doing, they are rebuilding the grid and the World Bank just gave us the funds.
You ipobs can cry and be negative with you anti-Nigerian sentiments, but we are on the right track and we are cleaning all the mess and incompetence previous administrations left behind.
Fashola Secures $200m World Bank Loan for Lagos Infrastructure Projects The Nigeria's government has approved a $200 million Work Bank loan to develop infrastructure in Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola, Minister for works, power and housing said.
The loan was the second tranche of a total of $600 million lent by the International Development Association to the Nigeria government for Lagos state since 2010, he said.
Fashola did not give details of any projects for which the loan would be used, but said the money had been intended for distribution in three tranches each of $200 million to end in 2013 but had been delayed.
"It suffered delays as a result of partisan political differences in the last dispensation. After the first tranche was disbursed there was a freeze on the second tranche," he told reporters.
Fashola said the loan was to be repaid over 25 years at an interest rate of 2.5 percent.

First tell us what happen to this loan? Never mind we know he shared the money among his people and nothing to show for it. Getting a loan means nothing, ask the children in Lagos about the education loan they never benefited from. Your power minister is a big thief! Shame on you for not telling the whole truth!!
tuzeriouz: mental wetyn? For rape case? G, calm down!
He is right. Leaders are a reflection of the people they lead. Our leaders rather spend our money on secondary school girls for romps than build roads.

Africans Before and After Watching "Black Panther"
HAHAHA! Some people don't get it. Runs girls, ritualist, gangsters became popular after our people were bombarded with such images. I was watching something and they were talking about how Italian American youths after the Godfather wanted to be mobsters and Hispanics and Blacks drug dealers after Scarface and New Jack City. Like I told the other poster art imitates life, life imitates art. Thanks for sharing....
BlackManta: You say it is the greatest movie ABOUT AFRICA, you didn't tell us why
Black Panther is not the only movie that portrays Africa.
There are several movies that have done it before. Why do you think that Black Panther is better than the others.
Are you saying that other movies, including the ones we africans produced, did not do a good job in promoting Africa
But Black Panther, which was produced by white man's hollywood is suddenly better than our local movies which have been portraying African culture even before you were born
I dont really get the hype
Is it because this one is hollywood
And please what do you mean by "greatest movie ABOUT AFRICA"
Let's start from there.
Una no go kill person with senseless hype.
I did state why. For once we were portrayed in a positive light. Entertainment is important to society. Art imitates life and life imitates art. Just go see the movie ans get back to me. Peace!
ODVanguard: Lies everywhere. SE kids and adults are the ones with naturally short, stunted, pygmy stock genes, like their equitorial guinea brethren below.
Liar I am over 6feet as is almost everyone in my family. Why do Igbos produce the beauty queens, NBA and NFL in the states are mostly Igbo boys? Jealousy stunts growth beware....
