and LG Kit is sold for 5k in their office..and about 3k elsewhere, meanwhile other acs like haier thermocool come complete with kit!!
meanwhile my LG deep freezer of barely 1yr stopped chilling, am suspecting gas leakage, seems am done with LG compressor based appliances, not just working out well for me, haierthermoccol is my ideal brand, and their compressor based appliances i have, have given me almost trouble free service

So i went to LG to complain about the high consumption of my 1hp inverter ac..700w on gen mode and 1500w on normal mode.
They promised to send a technician to come check it out later.
On my way out....saw this sticker..and was wondering if my complaint was even in order ...

But some people here said theirs consume 400w on gen mode..??.
Am contemplating buying a 2nd unit..but thinking of haier thermoccool now..would appreciate feedback from folks using the inverter ac

Impressive. This must be a really good head unit because it will take something extra ordinary for me to give up my ELS audio. Reason I have not bothered changing my head unit. Sucks that it doesn't have Bluetooth streaming but there's an easy walk around for that.

Interesting topic. But it is a great problem for us all. Dangote has no solution to our problems because by the time he decides to operate his refinery, the fuel will be obsolete. Currently Toyota cars are euro 6, same thing with Peugeot. In 2021, Dangote fuel is Euro 5, which will not be suitable for the current cars and so the chase continues with premium fuel for our cars. We have been waiting for a respite from his refinery but he has nothing to offer.
As for octane booster, it is the best solution. Amg Benz cars uses octane booster in the US because the minimum number is 93 and not 91 for other Benz cars. If the US has premium fuel and they still produce octane booster, then what now happens to us that have regular unleaded and refused to use the booster. I have been using the booster since 2007 first in my e Class and later in my Range Rover Sport. The first time was Toulene and I saw the difference instantly but there are other additives to add and the measurements, so I started using the real deal. There are some with mmt which is not so good but when you finally get the right one, to travel is like going to the next street. My fuel consumption from Lagos to Akure Nnpc was 14 litres for 100k In a v8 Range Rover Sport no matter the speed. Most Range Rovers are recommended and some are required. It depends on the market that the car is coming from. Octane booster will not clog your cat or the injectors. It is not what anyone will tell you that they will program. The sensor will send signals to the pcm that the car is using premium fuel and the pcm will raise the bar for the injectors to burn fuel evenly and the combustion will be smooth. Ditto when the car uses regular fuel, the sensor will cry out to the pcm that this nigga want to scatter his car and the pcm will reduce the performance of the car and increase the fuel consumption. Mercedes, BMW, Vw, Porsche and Audi are not finding it funny driven in Nigeria. The Benz will be crying and smiling. Scan a Benz without the check engine light and you will read a lot of cylinder misfires with damage to the cat. Octane booster is available for sale. I sell the best in town.

Lucky not to have gotten a flat at a bad spot. Happened to me once. Did 160km/hr, and I soon as I got off the highway, my rear left tire went flat. Unluckily for me, my spare was flat too (went flat Saturday night, this happened Sunday night). Had to drive home about 2 miles with a flat tire by midnight. Tire was in shambles by the time I got home, wheel was bent.

Never again.

08 MDX. With octane booster added, I easily rev up to 5500 rpm. Mpg also bumped up to 18.9 mpg. Acceleration is superb. But without the octane booster, I can't even get up to 3k rpm and mpg heads south.

And you don't get any pinging. Interesting. Your J37A1 engine has a compression ratio of 11.2, which is one of the highest I've seen for a mainstream car. How's your throttle response? And gas mileage? Have you ever filled up at a particular station and felt that your car was a bit abnormal when driving?

Another interesting case is the 2GR-FSE on the IS350. Compression ratio of 11.8, and people still drive it here.

I'm just curious, btw. I'm looking into Nigerian fuel and possible effects on performance engines.

Does it make a difference if the fuel is bought anywhere else other than nnpc cos the last two fills have been nnpc and the pinging was very evident.

Does your second gen MDX not ping (rattling sound coming from engine) when you try to rev above 3k rpm or stump on the accelerator?
Do you use octane booster? I'm asking cos mine pings like mad unless I add octane booster.
I enjoyed the mad acceleration when I drove it with the obodo oyibo fuel it came with.

To all my uber partners and customers... I would like to get an honest feed back from you guys ..this is in regards to fram ultra synthetic oil filters.. Do you like them, obviously they will be a lot better than the 1k naira you normally buy ...let me know your feedback.. Personally for my cars, they are doing great. No issue at all ...
