A friend has this car, very reliable and rugged, he changed the front absorbers just last week.. expensive though but on the overall, the car is sweet.... The AC is out of this world... The music system is great... I wish you luck in selling this muscle car... Cheers.

5. Appearance .
The extra ground clearance, wide tyres, sporty wheels and all round tints give the Car a very unique, bad ass look. these pictures do no justice.

Installed 40cm strut and coil spacers for extra ground clearance . . .The extra ground clearance is one of the things I am constantly happy about when I drive. I can traverse terrains most SUVS will struggle through, unbothered. snd still maintain a good balance at high speeds.

enjoys regular detailing with Meguairs range of products

No scratches or damages to door panels.

All interior trims and panels in excellent condition.

seats are clean and have no tears rips, stains or patches.

This sexy sport steering wheel cover purchased for $30 is almost 2 years old and still looks good as new You can't beat the value of quality

3. Body /Exterior Panel. . . .well maintained. never repainted, never worked on.
shows the regular scratches and dings of Lagos driving but is in overall very sweet condition. Eyecatching metallic shine from painstaking care . I polish my car everyother day and wax monthly or everyother month . Car body panels look better than original condition.
I always get people asking if I recently repainted my Car after a wash.

Selling a good car starts with buying a good one.

When I was in the market for a new car, I wanted something with great performance, great handling, luxurious interior, sporty appearance, and great road presence. The Acura MDX was one of the few SUVs that checked all the boxes for me.
The MDX is one of the best 3 row SUVs of the said generation. Very fast, Very Nimble, fun to drive and very rugged.
Took 4 hrs in Cotonou, 3 trips to Berger , 8 Carfax reports from computerglobal (the guy chop my money shaaa) and countless trips to car dealerehips to finally find a unit that did it for me.

This car was purchased in Dec 2018 for N3.75m with about 170k miles (but odometer was rolled back to 75k miles by the seller, lol) .I have driven this for only 20k miles in the last two years.

-Extremely clean under chassis and body.

-Packs a $2,800 upgrade

Lol, for this thread? I suggest you visit a real Mercedes Benz specialist. Most people here are end users or basic techs. I doubt you'd find any REAL enthusiasts or hobbyists . . . . na them dey enter that kyn lane.

Owned a BMWX5 Competition . . .faster, more aggressive, more fun . . . . . Butetetetetete. . . . There's just something about post 2013 Mercedes SUVS that you can't ignore .

Yes I did , arrives in a few days. Hell of a search, eventually got a 70k+ miles unit with the necessary features.

BMWs are undoubtedly the kings of street racing , but I lean towards the better refinement of the Benz.

film type : Nanocarbon film from tint zoom.

reason for brand of choice . . .provides the highest TSER (Total solar energy rejection) compared to any other film on the market. including the popluar Llumar brand( aa seen in chart) . very important property in tint films if you care about hot interiors.

I'm looking to change the rear lights on a w166 ML to GLE lights and would prefer to reprogram the applicable parameter ( change the current threshold) instead of installing resistors; for the error cancelation.

Has anyone used Vediamo for error cancelation? please point me in the direction of someone who can do this or has the software & associated tools

It costs $9 for a reason bro.
The Genuine Mercedes and OEM options have lasercut/stenciled inscriptions, are made of better materials and have higher reliability. The difference will always show down the line.

For me, fit & finish, reliability, premium feel . . .very important.

To spend 14m on a car and then cheapout on a start button, that wouldn't make sense.

Ladipo is a good source, didn't cross my mind.

One of my biggest fears was port security. Plenty of stories about Port rats, offloading damage, etc.

It's a bit hard to tell if the car was damaged while offloading. But only one thing was missing when it got to me that I'm sure was in the car when it left the US. The start/stop button. It's a simple $9item that has been bought

Headlight control

Where did you get a start button for $9?
The button was listed for about $90 at the Mercedes dealership my friend took my car to for checks. But I got it on Amazon for $40 and that's the cheapest I could find for a genuine Mercedes one.

I Initially supplied the camera 12V accessory power so it could be turned on even when car isn't in reverse ( the kenwood has a cam function ). but after reading about the drawbacks of having the camera on at all times, I disconnected the accessory supply and let it work only via reverse trigger.

Tapping neatly into the reverse light. routing cables to this point was hell.

Backup Camera

Installed an Aftermarket HD Backup Camera alongside the Stock setup.

Camera is from BrandMotion and has a Monumentally better resolution than the stock.

I love this, I don't know why people are particularly about MPG in bebz not that it is bad afterall... The ML doesn't consume much fuel... Having driven a C class and driving ML, I don't see much fuel consumption and also when buying or driving a Benz , I think most owners are for performance and driveability not MPG... I think if one need the best mpg, they should go for a 2 stroke engine or picanto or that small benz A160, my neighbor drives that.... That benz looks funny to me

If you drive a Mercedes and you're concerned about mpg , maybe it's not the Car for you.

Sits at 1400 rpm at 90km/h.

the low end torque is one of the outstanding features

Lighting Upgrade

Swapped out all the halogen bulbs and replaced with high quality LED alternatives. daytime running lights, fog lights, brake light, turn signal, reverse lights, cabin lights , door lights, HID xenon headlight bulbs everything, even the number plate illumination.
