Here is my honest advise for you. Defer your admission to the next available term. Get your GCMS note and take your time. Be patient and get it right in the next application. You will be doing yourself so much good if you don't show officers any form of desperation.

You are already being questioned on your purpose of visit regarding your proposed program(this is the main issue in your case) and other reasons. I don't want to believe that you want to give officers a good reason to refuse your application again for same reason. Applying immediately without addressing previous refusal reasons and giving the officer reasons why your reapplication should be approved and what you have done differently or a broadened and convincing perspective about your intent will result in same outcome irrespective of what you write.(you will need to know what to even write about in response to the refusal especially concerning purpose of visit).

The actual reason will most likely bother around the fact that the officer was not satisfied that your intention is genuine and also not satisfied that you would leave Canada after your study.

Once you show any form of desperation, it will will jeopardize your chances for a different outcome in your reapplication.

This is my advise. You may choose to do otherwise.

@Bkaylore, please do order for your GCMS notes to know the real reason behind your refusal.

However, I would like to caution everyone on the "statement of account" thing. It is not about how much is in the account, but how much is available to you and readily exportable. Besides, SOA is just a part of the requirements, there are other requirements that an applicant need to fulfil before being granted trv.

Sorry to input....if u v a good money in your account...u can include it.....but if n if u dont v dont add it..becos they will tink u r d one sponsoring yourself n using sponsored to cover up...i will advise u only use your sponsored account...


I remember using my personal statement of 1million n sponsor 15million...d story change...dat i dont v enough money wirhout working in canada

Good thing the program is in relation to your study. Send your SOP to a guru to help review, did you state why you’re not going for Msc instead.
As for the financials. I meant your sponsors acc is it his business(company) acc you presented or his personal acc?
You should add your own personal account in your next application to prove you earn

Sorry about the outcome of your application. My advice is that you don’t rush into reapplying and also commit it to God. From the list of documents you submitted.
Did you submit your personal statement of account to show you’ve been earning as an admin manager.
Your sponsors acc is it a company account, I think its been stated here that it’s best to always use a personal acc
In your SOP did you answer questions like your plan after the program? Why Canada? And your activities since you graduated from uni
Lastly is the program related to your undergraduate degree ?

Your profile is your current job in nigeria, course you're going for, your sponsors job, how is he related, are you going for Masters or doctorate, are you married or single and any other thing that could help determine how to help. Also, state all the document submitted in your first application, with this , the visa doctors will be able to help. All hope is not lost.

I am so sorry about that dear. What date exactly are you resuming in January? If you haven't deferred before, you can defer and refire again. Please don't loose hope. I know it hurts but remember that quitters never win and winners never quit.

Sorry about the outcome of your application. You'll need to relax alittle bit. Go through the emotion and cool off then we all can help you tackle your next application.

It's only human to feel disappointed but things will be fine soon. Also, you may need to get your immigration file(GCMS note). It is a more detailed report on the officer's conclusion on why your application was refused. Kindly refer to page 0 of this part to see how to order for it.

Not to worry, once you are able to get the file, it will become easier to help with the issue. Endeavour to request for it ASAP and we'll be here to help you.

Have faith in God. I submitted Oct 1st and I just got a medical mail last week. I am to resume January too. It's all about prayer and trusting God. Keep the Hope alive who knows, you can be mailed this week.
