Arrant nonsense!!!! Honor by who? Chinua Acbebe won every honor any book can bestowed on its writer. Achebe's ranked in the first five among books which included the bible. The book has been translated into many languages and formed part of curriculum among major universities in the world. If you think the so-called compromised Nobel prize is a major honor, you are a typical misguided African. Do you know how people who have trashed the so-called Nobel Prize which Achebe could have done too. Chinua Achebe destroyed Joseph Conrad and his heart of darkness with his 1977 classical easy on Africa. Achebe ruffled the feathers of comprised goons on the so-called Nobel Prize committee which decided to get back at him in 1986. Chinua Achebe informed the goons their prize would have been rejected.
