Well it starts from somewhere . . .And congratulations on taking the very first bold step.

Well I know they are projects at least for a junior or intern position, It's just to show I know how back end stuff works eg CRUD, APIs etc. The front end was an after thought, I'm not too keen on UI design, since I mostly do back end stuff.

A good start.

Let me give you a friendly advice.

Your project is nice. I want to believe Facebook and 4shared started just like this. But to make your project acceptable in a public place such as Nairaland, you need to make the front end dance and sing.

Learn css animation, transition, transform and some other CSS tricks. If you can't then use a library like gasp, animate.css/js.

People here are moved by excellent front end and good landing pages, they don't much care about what the app actually do.

Yeah thanks, the thing is I'm not trying to get a user base, I'm not trying to create the next Facebook or sth, I'm just trying to use what I've learnt in real world scenario. Plus I'm not a front end Dev, I only know bootstrap and jQuery
