falcon01:for people like him to see and learn why a violent life doesn't pay nobody (karma) |
The Lagos state command in agaust 2016 paraded a self-confessed Leader of the eiye confraternity, ibrahim balogun aka small japron (ASARAILU) for allegedly killing five persons during different cult wars. small japron was arrested by detectives attached to the Alade police division on Apata street in shomolu area of the state. It was gathered that small japron was arrested after some suspected cultists attacked the area and the suspect came out with his boys for a reprisal. It was gathered that small japron allegedly organized a gang which set a house ablaze in January 2016 on oshinfolarin street bariga during which a 65yrs old woman,Adejoke Adefuye was burnt to death. The police declared him wanted for five murder cases in the shomolu and bariga areas in 2016. Speaking while being paraded at d command headquarters,Ikeja, the suspect said he joined the cult to avenge the murder of his friend in 2009 by suspected aiye confraternity members. He said "I am an eiye cult leader" I joined the cult in 2009. The reason for my joining was to avenge the death of a closed friend.Sunday folorunsho, aka chop biscuits. It was the aiye cut members who killed him so the eiye faction approached me and said I should join them and they would help me fish out the people who killed my friend. I had a lot of boys working for me. I have killed three persons among whom were Femi Wiper and Lekan Akon . I cut them with knives.I shot some other victims. They were killed in the shomolu and bariga areas. It was in the evening that Femi wiper was killed. We were going out for a carnival during the easter period on Alade street in the shomolu area when a fight broke out. He was the one who first point a gun at me and my boys hacked him to death. The 36-year-old, who was notorious for cultism and killings in the Somolu and Bariga areas of Lagos, was said to have escaped from prison with the help of the policemen and other judicial officials at large. Although the suspect insisted that he was granted bail by the court, the then Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, while parading him at the command headquarters, said he escaped from custody in connivance with the two police operatives. |
People of shomolu, ladilak, fadeyi, bariga, abule oja and abule ijesha were in fear of violent retaliation as several vehicles were vandalized by hoodlums who claim to be protesting the death of their late colleague. vigilantes in most parts of the environs had to shut down gates around it vicinity

allymarry89:from the look of that mess, it's definitely a result of the parvovirus attack on the pup. Now the question is did the dog ever gets his vaccine shot and boosters? Though no professional vet Breeder will ever risk the life of any pet in their care to die of any diseases that could have bin vaccinated against.(for more info on the parvovirus veiws4rme..com) now the guy is either never a vet but rather an experienced and unprofessional breeder, that could have risk the dogs life and led to death, that's if he can proof the death with image |
Johnsainty:well you could have bin able to stop the diereah at early stage but like I said earlier parvo can last up to 2yrs in the soil surroundings of an infected dog.........its just best to vaccinate your dogs as you have a full protection and also allows your dog to grow well as you can never determine the strength of your dogs immune system as they vary even as humans (remember Ebola did not kill everybody that came in contact with it) and even your boss that gave you his treatment scope for the symptoms, knows damn well that supportive therapy or treatment don't always work (IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG GET HIM/HER VACCINATED) |
Blackalaja:and the chances of dealing with parvovirus is 50/50 and its best to always prevent by vaccinating(Parvovirus is a common but very deadly viral infection that usually attacks unprotected puppies. About half of all affected puppies will die no matter what you do, especially if it is the virulent strain.) |
Johnsainty:why don't you tell us more about it |
views4rme..com DOG’S AND DREAMS Have you ever seen it happen? your sleeping dog suddenly lets out a woof as his legs begin to twitch. Is he dreaming? Alot of scientists say there is evidence to support the idea that dogs do, in fact, experience dreams. Researchers using an electroencephalogram (EEG) have tested canine brain wave activity during sleep. They've found that dogs are similar to humans when it comes to sleep patterns and brain wave activity. Like humans, dogs enter a deep sleep stage during which their breathing becomes more irregular and they have rapid eye movements (REM). It is during REM sleep that actual dreaming and, often, involuntary movements take place. Dogs may move their legs as if they are running, whine or whimper as if excited, and breathe rapidly or hold their breath for short periods. Not all dogs dream equally. Research suggests that small dogs dream more than larger dogs. A Toy Poodle may dream once every ten minutes while a Golden Retriever may only dream once every 90 minutes. Dreaming also seems to occur more frequently in puppies. This may be because they are processing huge quantities of newly acquired experiences. What are dogs dream about? Since no dog has ever told anyone about a dream he's had, we can only guess. It's likely that dogs dream in a similar fashion to humans, replaying the everyday activities that make up their existence, like chasing, playing, and eating. Don't be tempted to wake your dog during dream. It's best to "let sleeping dogs lie." |
views4rme..comCANINE DISTEMPER What it does Protects against this variably fatal viral illness which is spread through airborne droplets. The course of the disease may vary from days to months and causes fever, discharge from the eyes and nose, cough, diarrhea, muscle wasting and seizures. When recommended The first dose at 8 weeks of age; then every 3 to 4 weeks until 4 months old. Booster recommendations Once yearly. Potential side effects Mild transient reactions include lethargy, loss of appetite, lameness, fever, and tenderness at the injection site. Rarely, life‐threatening allergic reactions can occur. INFECTIOUS CANINE HEPATITIS (Canine Adenovirus Infection) What it does Protects against an occasionally fatal viral disease that causes fever, poor appetite, conjunctivitis, nasal discharge and less commonly vomiting. The virus is transmitted by ingestion of contaminated body fluids (urine, feces, or saliva) from an infected dog. Damage to the kidneys and eyes can occur. When recommended The first dose at 8 weeks of age; then every 3 to 4 weeks until 4 months old, usually in combination with the canine distemper vaccine. Booster recommendations Once yearly. Potential side effects The same as the canine distemper vaccine, with the addition a very uncommon inflammatory disorder of the interior of the eyes RABIES What it does Protects against this routinely fatal disease, which has the potential to be transmitted to humans. Once contracted, treatment is ineffective in dogs. Rabies is passed from other infected mammals through bite wounds. When recommended The first dose is given at 4 months of age. The rabies vaccine is required by law in California. Booster recommendations One year after primary vaccination, then every three years. Potential side effects Inflammatory reactions are commonly seen at the site of injection; usually a transient small, firm, nonpainful lump. Fever, soreness at the injection site and rarely, a small localized area of permanent hair loss or thin skin may develop. The most serious, but fortunately very rare, adverse event that can occur is a life‐threatening allergic reaction, called anaphylaxis. CANINE PARVOVIRUS What it does Protects against this viral disease which is a leading cause of death in puppies. The virus is shed in the feces of infected dogs leading to watery diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration and secondary bacterial infections. When recommended The first dose at 8 weeks of age; then every 3 to 4 weeks until 4 months old. Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers and Pit Bull Terriers may require additional boosters. Booster recommendations Once yearly. Potential side effects Mild transient reactions include lethargy, loss of appetite, fever, or tenderness at the injection site. The vaccine has been implicated in stimulating immune system diseases but this has not been reliably confirmed. Rarely, life‐threatening allergic reactions can occur. INFECTIOUS TRACHEOBRONCHITIS (Bordetella Kennel Cough) What it does Protects against bronchitis‐type respiratory disease caused by Bordetella bacteria. The disease is transmitted through air borne transfer of bacteria. Fever, dry hacking cough and lethargy are some of the consequences of infection. Rarely, a secondary pneumonia may develop. When recommended The first dose 12 to 16 weeks of age followed by a second dose in 3 to 4 weeks. Booster recommendations Once or twice yearly depending on the specific vaccine utilized. Potential side effects Mild transient discomfort at the injection site, coughing (with intranasal product) CANINE LYME BORRELIOSIS What it does Protects against tick‐transmitted disease that can result in lameness, arthritis and fever. When recommended The first dose 12 to 16 weeks of age followed by a second dose in 3 to 4 weeks. Booster recommendations Once yearly. Potential side effects Possible soreness at the injection site and lameness. RATTLESNAKE VACCINE What it does Vaccination can reduce the overall effects of snakebite, reduce or eliminate the need for antivenom, and other treatment because antibodies made by your dog in response to the vaccine start neutralizing venom immediately. When recommended If your dog works or plays where rattlesnakes live, you should consider vaccination. The first year vaccine is given, two doses are spaced one month apart. Booster recommendations Boosters are recommended annually in the Spring, or about a month before you take your dog into rattlesnake habitat. Potential side effects Occasional mild swelling at the injection site. Rarely, mild instances of vomiting, diarrhea or lethargy for one to two days after vaccination. Cases of life‐ threatening allergic reaction to the vaccine are extremely rare. |
colostrum with its antibody protection is only present in the first 36-48 hours of milk flow. Puppies and kittens can only gain immunity from colostrum if they nurse during that time frame, and they are less than two days old. After that, it makes no difference how much or how little they nurse, they will not receive any more antibodies. Many breeders and pet owners believe that as long as the puppy or kitten is nursing, it is gaining more protection.Others feel that by allowing older animals to nurse on a new mother immediately after she gives birth, she will give these older animals another dose of antibodies. All Wrong! Remember, the puppies and kittens cannot absorb antibodies after their digestive tracts lose the ability to absorb large unaltered protein molecules. All the colostral protection the puppy or kitten has is what it received in that first day or two of life. Later on, we can only augment this by vaccination. |
views4mre..com The canine parvovirus (CPV) infection is a highly contagious viral illness that affects dogs. The virus manifests itself in two different forms. The more common form is the intestinal form, which is characterized by vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss and lack of appetite (anorexia). The less common form is the cardiac form, which attacks the heart muscles of fetuses and very young puppies, often leading to death. The majority of cases are seen in puppies that are between six weeks and six months old. The incidence of canine parvovirus infections has been reduced radically by early vaccination in young puppies. Signs & Symptoms of Parvo in Dogs The major symptoms associated with the intestinal form of a canine parvovirus infection include: Severe, bloody diarrhea Lethargy Anorexia Fever Vomiting Severe weight loss The intestinal form of CPV affects the body's ability to absorb nutrients, and an affected animal will quickly become dehydrated and weak from lack of protein and fluid absorption. The wet tissue of the mouth and eyes may become noticeably red, and the heart may beat too rapidly. When you examine your dog’s abdominal area, your dog may respond due to pain or discomfort. Dogs who have contracted CPV may also have a low body temperature (hypothermia Heavy concentrations of the virus are found in an infected dog’s stool, so when a healthy dog sniffs an infected dog’s stool (or anus), that dog can contract the disease. The virus can also be brought into a dog's environment by way of shoes that have come into contact with infected feces. There is evidence that the virus can live in ground soil for up to a year. It is resistant to most cleaning products, or even to weather changes. If you need to clean up a parvovirus-contaminated area, first pick up and safely dispose of all organic material (vomit, feces, etc.), and then thoroughly wash the area with a concentrated household bleach solution, one of the few disinfectants known to kill the virus. If a dog has had parvovirus in a home, it is best not to have a puppy in that home for several years. Due to the density of dogs, breeding kennels that hold a large number of unvaccinated puppies are particularly hazardous. This is why your veterinarian will want to re-vaccinate your puppy even if records from the breeder indicate it has had a vaccination. For unknown reasons, certain dog breeds, such as Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Labrador Retrievers, Doberman Pinschers, German Shepherds, English Springer Spaniels and Alaskan sled dogs, are particularly vulnerable to the disease. Different veterinarians have different protocols about the timing of vaccinations. Most veterinarians recommend that a puppy receive his first parvovirus vaccination when he is 8 weeks old. Timing Different veterinarians have different protocols about the timing of vaccinations. Most veterinarians recommend that a puppy receive his first parvovirus vaccination when he is 8 weeks old. The second vaccination is given in three to four weeks, about age 11 to 12 weeks. A third vaccination is given in three to four more weeks, about age 14 to 15 weeks. A vaccination is sometimes given three to four weeks later, about age 17 to 18 weeks. Most all veterinarians agree the final vaccination in the series should be given after the puppy is 4 months old. Once the puppy series is complete, your dog should received a booster vaccination each year. Limiting Exposure Because parvovirus is contagious, it is best you limit your puppy's exposure until he has completed the entire series of vaccinations. This means not taking your puppy to the pet supply store, dog park or even the groomer until after the vaccination series is complete. Areas where large numbers of dogs gather are the most likely environments to be contaminated. It is even a good idea to carry your puppy when you go to the veterinarian. It's possible a dog infected with parvovirus just walked across the lobby floor. |
Simply because you can afford the expenses of having a dog doesn't mean you deserve to have 1 and you're never going to enjoy full loyalty without a rigid RELATIONSHIP ...............(its life) |
