I-man:

No problem.I'm sure you won't have qualms if your husband declared to you that he doesn't like working and therefore can't work. That can't be a crime.
Very funny!!!!! Am not laughing

I-man:

This is bewildering! What has that got to do with women who can't cook at all.In your case, you can cook and so can your husband. In that sense, your situation doesn't apply here.It would apply if you couldn't cook and/or had no interest in cooking.I'm sure your husband would take issues with that.

At the same time, has it ever occured to you that there are women who DON'T like cooking and therefore can't cook? How is that a crime? Am lucky that i love cooking, but it could have been the other way round and i dont think know my husband would not love me less.

I am happily married and all this crap about cooking doesnt arise in my home, so dont think that all the female bloggers here are not married!

I told the feminazis that since women prefer men that " bring home the bacon" ,its only natural that we prefer that they cook it grin

amaikama:

sometimes we all miss the point. if a woman can't cook then what her use? mind u, she will not only cook for the husband but family, friends and strangers and it's a shame when a stranger comes to your house and your wife can't set a table before u and the stranger.

Please send her home to mama!! i really don't know what sort of women the world is breading these days. that how an elderly man said to me one day. he said, "Austin, it only God that can choose a wife for your generation."which i quite agree.

if a woman can't cook how would we be eating then?

cheers.

If i had a cane, i would flog you! Are you saying that the only use you can have of a woman is her ability to cook?  shocked I am shocked!

Razorr:

WesleyanA, thanks for that observation. Unfortunately, some men wouldn't listen to you. angry

Mukina, the funny thing about men who run their mouth about wanting to marry women who can cook is that they end up not marrying their soul mates.
If a man takes too much interest in food and makes cooking a criteria for finding a wife then its more likely that he'll marry the wrong person and end up unhappy. cry

I noticed that most men who claim to have perfect wives (i.e. wives that can cook, keep the house tidy and are good in bed), usually cheat on their wives!
Can any man please explain why this is so? angry

Razorr, u've just hit the nail on the head! Go on girl! kiss

I-man, if you read my views very well, you would notice that they are both in different paragraphs.
First one talks about a woman that can cook but might not be able to do this based on situations and the second talks about a woman that can't cook at all.
GET IT? HOPE YOU DO, COS I CAN START EXPLAINING/TRANSLATING PEOPLE'S REPLIES TO YOU! tongue

has it ever occured to you men that the woman might JUST not like cooking? Chew on that!! Are there not things that you are supposed to do, that you dont just like doing and try avoiding it by all means?
Family / Re: What Is The Value Of A Woman Who Can't Cook? by blackbeaut(f): 11:37am On Jun 11, 2007
Dont mind all those men that want a woman to be their slaves! You both go to work to make ends meet and sometimes you even get home later than your husband and he sits around waiting for you to come and cook for him! angry
If a woman cant cook, then so be it!! We are all not perfect, they are some women that can cook, but cant clean the house, so what do you do then? and who says the way to a man's heart is through his stomach? Then you never meet better man!

Travel / Re: Experience With Immigration When Traveling With Our Nigeria Passport by blackbeaut(f): 2:04pm On Jun 10, 2007
I have heard both the good and the bad aspect of having a Nigerian passport, and some of these stories can be very annoying! I have friend that would buy a wallet for their passports just to hide the colour, some even go as far as putting it between two UK passports when passing through immigrations, so as to hide the colour! Personally, i have not heard any problem while travelling with my Nigerian passport, BUT i know that a lot of people get harrassed a lot!
