Yes. If your date of graduation is before May 2016 when you turned 30. Check the senate list to see the date of graduation uploaded by your school.

You have to apply with what you have. You don't have much time except if you can get it quickly from your school. I think the primary school certificate and bio data form are requested to check consistency in your date of birth.

can som1 with May1986 register successfully without being exempted??

NYSC changed the procedure for correction of date of birth in this batch. A WAEC verification PIN would have done the magic in the past. Now you have to apply for the correction through the Student Affairs Officer of your institution and you have to be fast about it. You will need the following:

A hand-written application to the Student Affairs Officer (SAO) of your institution to be forwarded to the NYSC including the following:

1. A copy of West African Examination Council (WAEC) Results Certificate showing Date of Birth;
2. Completed Bio-Data form upon entry into the Institution; and
3. First School Leaving Certificate
4. WAEC Results Verification PIN for use by NYSC

I don't know why they are putting PCMs through the stress of this long process because the WAEC PIN is what will still be used for verification of the date of birth. The only thing this new method is introducing is protection of NYSC against any legal backlash since you'll be tendering a handwritten and signed application letter to NYSC to change your date of birht to the one on your WAEC certificate. In case the date of birth on your WAEC certificate is wrong as well, NYSC can't be held responsible with this new approach. Before you follow the procedure to apply for correction, be sure that the date of birth on your WAEC certificate is correct or less than 30years for those trying to avoid EXEMPTION.

What if you have all those documents except ur primary first school leaving certificate??

On knowing the possible consequences of registering late.. i'm still feeling reluctant n lazy to go do registration. I'm hving dis feeling d 2nd week will b the favoured week of registration in dis batch. Weda d prefered states r taken or not.. no fears.

THERE AFTER, YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND CHECK YOUR NAMES AND PROCEED FOR REGISTRATION. THIS AFFECTS ALL SCHOOLS WHO ADDED NAMES AND MUST GO FOR RECONCILIATION.

That's it bro,,we all have our bad behaviors,,, unlike me,,am a very controversial person,,,,the first time the lady spoke with the DG,some ppl here are criticizing her that it's a lie,DG said they will invite us to the camp by ending of November,,it happens or not?,,I was the one that said she shldnt reply anybody back with those insults,,if Na me ehn,i go clap back o,,,,,now the DG said by ending of January,they will call the remaining ppl to camp,,,, it's hard for them too,but they don't have choice,lets pray for Nigeria to be better,,, let's be patient,,God knows best,,,,,I pray this delay will be a blessing in disguise to all of us

She not giving out d number is d right thing to do. But its impossible... i mean very impossible to mobilize the remaining pcms(which will b batchA 2017) in january. 2017 budget may b implemented around feb or march.
The DG gave her dat info so she can spread d gospel to calm us down. If u cant pray, then go to ur schools to get mobilized by any means necessary. D nxt batch may b ard April or May.

Hmmm.. Senate approved list era has gone. Futo is currently uploading names(the chosen ones) to nysc portal since yter. Moreover go check ur name in ur dept.. d senate approved list was pasted in each departments like 2weeks ago.

ATTENTION! To all FUTO pcms...News direct from student affairs unit. At of all 1,600 names on the pasted senate approved list only ``568´´ will b mobilised. Mode of selection/slashing are. (1)only 2009 reg numbers n below will be selected. ##dou nt all. (2) And AGE.. meaning even if u pass no1 screening u may v to wait for ur elders to go first. Uploading started yesterday.

I saw this coming,the moment they brought out timetable and pend the last date for printing of call up letter for 25th November, I concluded that there will be no stream 2.Then came the official pronouncements of the country as 'officially in recession',then I started solving Fourier series in my head,on how many PCM will be mobilized.

State's government can't even pay salaries.My best bet is schools will be forced to mobilise old graduand and 2015 graduands too,while 2016 may be moved to batch A 2017.

I saw it coming too but the knock is heavier than i thought. Favour/Grace it is now.

my dear i heard Delsu uploaded 3000 names so nysc rejected it that they needed 1500 for stream1 then later another 1500 for stream2 it applies to all schz too

I heard d rejection was because its only 1500 pcm's needed from each schools and batchb gonna be only 1 STREAM. Lets hope i'm wrong but the info is true.
