just because of international law doesn't mean you'll just be doing things anyhow without regards to the other countries around u. As analogy, the law is government owns all the land belongs to government, now if your state government wants to build road and it passes through your land and they just claim the land like that without even consulting you or paying you how would you feel? Yes there's a law but without the consent and negotiation of the SS you can't do anything really.

Landlocked means having no direct access to the sea without passing through rivers or other nations or states. So yes the SE or igbos are landlocked as they can't reach the Atlantic without using a river that passes through Akwa Ibom and Rivers (ogoni and ibibio) territories. With the right negotiations with the SS or Niger Delta republic they can make use of the river to do business.

I think this money supposed channel into youth empowerment/ employment.
Akwa ibom has the highest crude oil now in the country but it has the largest unemployed youths in Niger-Delta according to statistics.
If I may also ask, what has Akwa ibom benefited from Mobil?
To me ooo, the money for this building can train and equip more than 15000 Akwaibomite .
We can't be hungry as a state but build a 21st story for a company that net worth can buy the state. Let's invest in youths, let's invest in women an elders.
I believe the state can do this ,yes we can do it.

the "SUPREME LEADER" of biafra. We have had dictator's in Africa and none has ever named himself SUPREME LEADER. I read a thread on nairaland yesterday about urhobo denying Biafra (the article was posted in 2017).

If you see insults these ipob gave the urhobo tribe even you will be offended m and they expect the same people to shout and support Biafra

That's how most of them do, they say we're envious or have inferiority complex or are laid back or some very insulting and derogatory term because we don't want biafra. They'll also say we are weak that the north and west are stealing our oil while we did nothing, forgetting once upon a time when our militants were blowing oil installations from Akwa Ibom up to Delta and we couldn't even produce up to 500k barrells a day even Buhari had to beg those boy's. I thank God oil is fast going outdated so Igbo hausa and Yoruba will leave us alone.

I will love to agree with on good roads network in AKWA IBOM, but the state have a long way to go. I have been to d state more than 5 times last year and i tell u, Uyo is a very small town/city that u cn drive through 4 less than 3 hours. Considering federal allocation to state and the IGR. One wil think that d uneployment rate in d state wil reduce but dat is not d case.

we're talking about roads sir. As of city size uyo is still growing, Akwa Ibom is among the youngest states in Nigeria created as recently as 1987,so comparing us to Lagos or port Harcourt that witnessed development from colonial times is really unfair or even comparing us with older States, even Abuja is older us so leave that side, compared to so many states Akwa Ibom is far ahead, one thing Akwa Ibom has is that development is not concentrated in the capital alone like you have in most Nigerian states, ikot ekpene,eket,itam,abak,oron and other places are more developed than many cities in Nigeria. Akwa ibom is still growing and it's growing fast.

What surprise me most in the state is that the build good roads to no where and the resident are peaceful

It's good to have good roads, reduces cost of transportation and unfortunate events like accidents etc. But he should also invest in our people too, he should try more in industrialization. If he can get the seaport fully operational before he goes his name will forever be remembered in the state.
