Iamzik: A political leader always seeks to appeal to his base (this time a religious base) where he hopes to get political support and this is not limited to Nigeria. No emotion or tribalism. There is nothing wrong with building a church. In fact Lagos state has one in the state house with priests on government payroll. And this is the mentality that has enslaved the country since 1960. Politicians have mastered the art of feeding u garbage the massaging your intelligence with religious and tribal rhetorics so that u are perpetually unable to hold them accountable. Please go back and read ur constitution, Nigeria is a secular state. No one religion deserves recognition above the other. The fact that politicians choose to manipulate you doesn't mean u have to swallow the bullshit. You should be able to think for yourself. |

Iamzik: Same way northern Governors use their state money to build central mosques. What's the difference? It's all politics to get religious people on their side. But does that make it right?? Are those northern governors now wikes mentors?? Pls don't be swayed by emotions and tribalism |
Politics › Re: Pastor Adeboye Commissions Ecumenical Centre Built By Wike, Patience Attends by blackpanda: 10:00am On May 29, 2017 |
OpinionCounts: Some states in the north did not only build a mosque, they subjected the whole state to islamic rule (Sharia) ET Zamfara etc... So before u start crying foul first sit down and study to learn and contribute sensibly. That's where you are wrong. One bad deed does not absolve another. Those States that chose to declare sharia are still suffering it till date in backwardness, poverty and terrorism. Am not sure those are the people wike wants to be comparing himself with. And I don't think rivers people deserve that |
Politics › Re: Buhari Has Failed Nigerians – sheikh Gumi by blackpanda: 9:57am On May 29, 2017 |
Mujtahida: The sum of what you wrote is that rather than the calls for restructuring people should go back to their States, local governments, constituencies and hold those who wield at that level responsible. No so?
And I say no! That logic ain't gonna work. By saying that you are just trying to deflect attention from the horrid failure of the man at the centre. Clearly you have no clue what restructuring means. And am not in the mood to educate you. So I decline this conversation. Enjoy ur day |

malton: LOL.
Nothing o.
It's just, the man has performed poorly tbh.
Today makes it exactly two years since he assumed the mantle of leadership. However, we have yet to witness the kind of change 'we' had hoped for.
Personally, I did not expect much from him, but he hasn't done a lot to deserve praise either.
For all the talk about corruption, you'll be surprised to find that some of the worst corrupt practices are being carried out in this regime.
Not much has changed if you asked me. OK maybe buhari isnt doing his best. But what of your state governor? LG chairmen? Councillors?? Do you demand the same accountability from these people People keep crying they want restructuring, but our very ideology does not support that. The fact remains that all Nigerian s forget their state of residence and face abuja, only to turn around and start crying restructuring. What happened to your state govts allocations?? Security votes?!? Bail out funds?? Ecological funds?? ECA funds Nobody cares about those. Its always buhari this, APC that. Even to the extent that an executive governor will decide to abandon his state and go on strike because of buhari. And his foolish and poverty stricken statesmen will be swallowing the deception hook line and sinker. Another one used N600million to do Christmas light while he is owing workers 10months salary. But nobody is talking. Nigerians wake up already!! |

9jakohai: Just the effects of living on one revenue stream.
If we want to have enough money for salaries....short term, since oil is not going up to 100 and above we have to
1.Increase taxes
2.Increase taxes
3.Increase taxes
4.Or start retrenching excess staff in the Civil service. (It is bloated anyway).
APC govt better hurry up and diversify the economy....or else they may have to make choices they won't like.
Like number 5: Take a big fat loan from the IMF....payable for an infinite number of years.(Don't worry....Mother IMF loves her slaves very much). You do realise that the only people whose payment of taxes is absolutely gauranteed in Nigeria are the civil servants. Their taxes are deducted at source even before they are paid. And this is the same people govt continues to shortchange and cheat |
