Greetings to all the Gurus in house. Please I want to apply for UK visa for a conference in August 23rd. The organizers are going to take care of my flights and accommodation. Is it wise for me to apply judging that today is July 8th? Will it be possible to get a decision before August 23rd? If not, is there a way I can apply for a quicker decision before August 23rd? Gratitude to the house.
Politics / Join PACOR For The August 23rd Slavery Reparation March In Lagos!!! by BlackRevolution(m): 12:44am On Aug 21, 2018

It must be understood that Black people are generally Johnny-come-latelies in the struggle for the demand for reparations to a varied company of people in the Americas, Asia and Europe. After admitting wrongdoing during the WW2, the U.S government interned some 120,000 Japanese with 20,000 USD. Germany paid more than 132 billion gold marks for reparation after WW2. The Jews so far had received a total of 300 billion USD from Germany as reparation for the so called holocaust. N.B. Reparation was paid without consideration of the small number of Jews that collaborated with Hitler or the few Japanese that aided the U.S government in bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki. For us though, reparation goes beyond financial commitment but then when will reparation be paid for the greatest holocaust ever- Slavery

JOIN US FOR THE 23RD OF AUGUST REPARATION MARCH @ NO 1, WALTER CARRINGTON CRESCENT, VICTORIA ISLAND, LAGOS. 8AM PROMPT. #Reparationisamust.

Our demand for reparation is non-negotiable, it is sacrosanct because the greatest holocaust ever- slavery, led to incalculable cases of genocide plus culturecide. Slavery, the greatest holocaust ever, made possible colonial plus neo-colonial exploitation and oppression of the Black world. It made possible not just an anti-Black global outlook but also a Black-anti-Black outlook. Our struggle for reparation is importantly strengthened within the framework of destroying every fabric of the capitalist system that made the greatest holocaust ever a possibility. Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by BlackRevolution(m): 10:28am On Jul 29, 2017
Hello everyone. I recently applied for UK visa to attend a conference as a guest speaker organized by the RMT (Rail Maritime and Transport Union, London). I was at the Tls on the 21st of July. The conference will be taking place on the 23rd of August. The organizers have indicated in the invitation letter that they will be taking care of my flight tickets, accomodation, meals etc. I will be staying for two weeks as suggested by the organizers. I submitted my mum's bank statement as am currently on my PhD. And also a copy of my admission letter was submitted. Now the organizers of the conference have asked if they should go on and pay for the flight tickets. Please can anyone share his/her thoughts on what should possibly be my reply to the organizers and also what are the chances I have for the visa to be ready prior 23rd August. Thanks.
