It is not true

Central Africa Republic is closer to Chad than Nigeria

BackDatAssUp:
No. If you are assuming the aircraft came directly from Russia then the routing will be through Chad.

Another point you are missing is that the aircraft will have to pass through Libyan airspace.

The Libyan airspace has since been shutdown for commercial flight so the routing would most likely have been through Algeria.

Another thing we are not sure of if the Aircraft is even a Russian registered aircraft.

It most likely is an Antonov but that doesn't mean it is a Russian operated aircraft.

Ukraine cargo companies leased antonovs from the Russian military after the collapse of the soviet union.

Most of the Antonovs in commercial use today are operated by Ukrainian avition companies with Ukrainian crews.

This is because the Ukraine was more open to do business with Europe than Russia.

I know this because a particular aviation company in Nigeria leased an Antonov from the Ukraine for local use here in Nigeria.

The journalists would have made the assumption that since it is a Russian manufactured aircraft it would be a Russian operated aircraft.

Let us wait for more details.

But I am sure about the Ukrainian angle.
OK

I get you now especially when you explained the flight route through Algeria .

I am sure the flight wanted to refuel before heading to Ndjamena.

The Nigerian security on ground were notified by either the Russians or Israelis on the actually contents of the cargo on board.
No its not refuelling.

Check your map and you will see

That the plane must pass through Chad before Nigeria.

This is a set up to discredit GEJ alliance with mother Russia.

Any info on the plane's call sign?

I can track it's flight plan on line and we can know exactly where it originated from.

My bet is Ukraine and not Russia!

https://flightaware.com/live/
It has nothing to do with Ukraine

Mark my words

Someone is not happy about our new found love with Russia.

That person is close

Remember US has a drone base at Niger.

I don't know of US presence in Chad but that plane originated close by to destroy our Russian intense relationship.

And who told you the aircraft was from Russia?

The aircraft landed in Kano first before planing to head to N'Djamena, Chad.

This aircraft is a Russian registered aircraft doesn't mean it was a Russian Military plane. I believe it departed from Ukraine and the American's hands are all over this.

Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Antanov jets have been sold to private companies which are hired by everyone from formula one teams to even Jigawa state government in moving heavy freight around.
You are echoing my point

To me someone is not happy about our new found love with Russia

In short

Someone is frightened about Russia involvement.

I suspect

CIA, Chad and local politicians.

The plane was reported to have had technical difficulties enroute from Russia to Chad. It made an emergency stop in Kano.

I think it was arms meant for Chad, however with no official statement from their Government by now, it does not look like it was a legitimate transaction. Remember an aide to the Chad President was recently caught at the Chad-Nigeria with surface to air missiles in the boot of his car.
A plane from Russia must pass through Chad before Nigeria.

Check your map
Politics › Re: FG Impounds Russian Plane With Arms In Kano by BlackTechnology: 10:17pm On Dec 06, 2014
This could be

1) CIA covert operation to create distrust between Russia and Nigeria.

2) Chad's covert operation to cover up their link with BH.

Reason for my view

Before a plane from Russia gets to Nigeria it must pass through Chad.

So how come it passed through Chad without identifying through ground radio communication radar station that it is within Chad's territory. Abi Chad no get radar again.

This new policy is very bad for business. We should expect 30 to 35% interest rate from banks very soon. Discouraging banks from lending to traders while banks themselves engage in trading by making money from loan spreads. Talk of double standards. undecided undecided undecided
This policy is good and will be made better if the CBN reduce the rate to 6% for agriculture mining construction and manufacturing sectors and increase the rate to 20% for traders(importers).

In short

Import duties should be increased by 1,000% for finished imported products to discourage importation and encourage local production by making foreign finished products too expensive for people to buy which will force people to patronize local products thereby strengthening local industrialization.

Government should partner foreign firms and set up industries whose products we import.
Investment › Re: Why CBN Increased Monetary Policy Rate To 13% by BlackTechnology:
A good policy but can be made better if the rate is reduced to 6% for the following sectors
1) Agriculture
2) Mining
3) Construction
4) Manufacturing

In order to encourage borrowing for expansion of production and reduction of the price of their finished products.

Increased production might lead to more employment therefore more naira into peoples pockets and reduction in price will reduce the naira leaving peoples pockets.

After this, we can review our tax policies to see how Nigeria can be rescued from the curse of over dependence on oil wealth.

As for traders(importers) the rate should be increased to 20% to discourage importation.

God bless GEJ

God bless the good people of Nigeria.

u have said it all, brother, needless to say that ur fears and suspiction of the USA towards nigeria and bokoharam, are well founded. They have said before that naija will breakup in 2015, after all such previous predictions fails to materialize. hence, they are doing everything to ensure the break up. from refusing to give us ebola vaccine, refusing to sell us weapons to tackle boko haram, and now asking us to withdraw d little ones we have from d war front, so that bokoharam can have a killing spree. Infact, the USA IS THE CHIEF OF ALL TERRORISTS. THEY CREATED TERORISTS BODIES LIKE ALQAEDA AND ISIS TO FORMENT TROUBLE, SO THAT THEY CAN JUSTIFY THEIR SATANIC ACTS OF WAR to achieve thier aim of a new world order based on thier own laws and dictates. And where they fail, they ensure chaos, by sponsoring false flag operations and colour revolutions, to overthrow legitimate and resisting governments. examples are libya, iraq, syria, and now ukrain, aimed to get at moscow. Only russia and China are standingt tall. I tell u d truth.... boko haram is a mission of the CIA to ensure d destruction of a sleeping giant...Nigeria. But they forgot that God owns the final say in d heavens and d earth.
The US do not understand Africa let alone Nigeria

True strength do not rest on numbers but brain.

Unknown to US what is keeping Africa down is a faulty colonial structure that placed retrogressive African tribes over progressive African tribes.

The fact remains that even if Nigeria breakup, the progressive Nigerian tribes will form an alliance with each other and any other progressive African tribe in other African countries to protect their interest against neocolonialism.

Pls, no amount of military technology would save your people from being killed like chickens. You can't do better than Germany and Japan in terms of technology but look at what happen to their people at second world war..... Peace is always a better option.
Germany and Japan were the aggressor nations that were committing atrocities.

Biafra is a people who wants to live on their own and determine their destiny.

Is one Nigeria by force.?

You and your ethnic group can decide to form one Nigeria with other interested groups.

Guy am a Christian, but if we must progress in this country, we must leave religion out of politics. Fashola is a muslim and he has perfomed above average in the Governance of Lagos, Akpabio is a christian and he has equally performed above average in Akwa Ibom. Lucky Igbinedon, former Gov of Edo state is a Christian and he performed WOEFULLY when he governed the state for 8yrs, Adams Oshiomole is a muslim and he is performing above average in Edo presently. Aregbesola is a muslim and he is equally performing above average in Osun. Idris Wada of Kogi state is a muslim and he is performing below expectation in the state. Therefore we should not vote based on religion but based on the records of the candidate. If we are not careful with the way we easily bring in religion into our politics in this country, we may rock the boat of this nation faster than we expect.

All the coupes that took place in Africa in the late 60s and early 80s were all sanctioned by the US using the CIA.
After independence they became afraid that most African nations might go for communism. This fear ,paranoia and wanting to control Africa led to the assassination of most west African civilian and military heads of states that has refused some of their economic policies to fly.
Where you aware that Muritala Mohamed was assassinated by colonel Dimka shortly after the throwing out of the yanks from the juicy Nigerian steel industrial revolution master plan by his government, the moment he gave the contract to the Russians his fate was sealed .This is one reason why that old ota farmer needed to dumped out from Nigeria's politics today. They have betrayed this country beyond repair for their own selfish interest.
