Most of those long distance drivers are not aware of Uber, if they are aware they will quit immediately and join Uber. If you think long distance is much easier and better, I encourage you to join chisco transport, they have opening.

Kabukabu drivers in ogudu, drive from monin until night, collecting 50naira per passenger, they pray to God to get 1000naira after deliver of 2500 daily. And you are here in Uber making 4-5k daily as Uber driver, still looking for who to cheat.

Don't worry I will invite those Kabukabu drivers to join Uber, they will be more than happy to take ur place.

Street boys into truckpushing, barbing, keke riding and their likes get more pussies than corporate guys. This is due to the fact that they are well known in the area unlike the G-boys that distance themselves from the society. When ever I come out at night in my ghetto area, I see them hanging out with girls I fantansize about. Not that these girls can't fall for me, but they feel we are in different leagues .
Whenever i go to a barbing salon, they are there gisting of girls they fvck, in beer parlour same thing, where I buy roasted beans and 'bo le' I still hear them. I'm jealous.

In my own opinion and with my experience as a UBER Partner, i wouldnt advise a new entrant to invest too much in the uber business unless he intends driving it himself.

A lot of things are just wrong and uber seems to be deaf to all the complaints. Now, the new trend is that you have to go through a drivers agency to get a driver to get your car And the service isnt free.

As a potential UBER partner, do not just be deceived by the weekly rentals, also consider the following:

1) Car Maintenance
The heavy amount you will spend in fixing your car on a periodic basis. My Car is a Tokunbo Honda 2008 and its very clean, but even with that, i still spend a handsome amount on a monthly basis.


2) The Drivers.
Whether you like it or not, you are at the mercy of these guys especially now that most of the transactions are cash based. Most of the drivers that will apply come in with humble face and promises of living up to your expectation, only for them to run away after 3 weeks, and guess what you will be lucky if he drops any rental for that week? And Uber being smart have absolved themselves, they have already taken their 25% while you the car owner have nothing for that week.


3) Insurance
Be smart, get a comprehensive insurance. The car doesnt belong to the driver and most often than not, he drives it recklessly. If an accident occurs, he most likely will not pay. so simply close your eye for the insurance and let them carry that worry on your behalf.


I wish all UBER partners will act in one accord and pull out their car even if its for just one week, at least that will force the uber management to listen. But i guess this is a wishful thinking anyway.
