I called the number on their website and i was given facility Bill but was given another number to call and find a doc .. Please i need contact details of any Doctor at WHMC that we can work .. A rented car that comes with a driver = Cab/Taxi.

A warning to those renting cars, please make sure you familiarize yourself with the US driving rules. Stop signs, right of way rule at a 4way junction etc. Americans do not do defensive driving so if you try to drive the naija way you would hit someone. Running a red light or stop sign can cost you up to 250dollars.

so we touched down Naija on friday and with LO.
Thanks to everybody for your help and contributions. We used WHMC and the bills remain the same with Mrsbwc's bills except doctor charged 2k.

Heat has want to finish my LO. 3 days and heat rash is all over her face. Uber nearly used night bus to send me back to my village until i got to rent a car from Hertz.

please try your best to factor in transportation to your budget when making one. It is very important has it can drain you especially if you are staying in Houston.

Ultrasounds and biophysical profile for my baby at one of my prenatal visits - 350
New patient fee - 145
Prenatal Labs - 485 (had to redo gct and blood test which was abt 140 due to error in details provided by my naija hosp, so that shd have been 345)
WHMC - 3000 (no additional fee was collected for induction)
Epidural - 1200
Pediatrician - 544.75 (267.75, 163.5, 113.5)
Labs during delivery - 197.97
Hearing test - 163

Total - 8585.72

Babe,wat mistake in ur lab from nig cos ve done all my test here aside d compulsory ones to be done der.i even did my pap smear cylmadia genotype glucose etc here at least it will save me over 500 dolls. Pls urgent reply make i check my report too
Which one is new parents fee.cos Sheri did not tell me dat.and pediatrician amt dey told me is 500 how come urs is more.me am working with budget won't even want any 1dollar extra cost.
As per hearing test not necessary won't do dat my sis did not do last yr well is optional in der package .did u pay der or u paid from nig.cos I ve paid almost all d bill from nig last yr

Yes, same here. I made plenty of phone calls to different hospitals and it is expensive. So am settling to deliver in whmc houston.

hello mamas, it seems fcmb is the new kid on the block as per this PTA waka, can mamas throw more light?.....will b travelling mid may, thus I want to b sure of pta, opened savings acct with stanbic last wk....with all the stories am hearing abt stanbic not meeting up with deman, am thinking of opening another savings acct in fcmb........, I hope these banks wont say that my acct is too new/young?
