Which battery is best to use with luminous Eco volt Neo 1500va 24V inverter. Considering that Amaron quanta battery got damaged in less than a year.

Since its only 2 batteries and you are dealing with a small load on LA, I would have advised you to have gone for a 12v system instead of 24v...but that ship has sailed.

This is the best advice given so far. Try and find a good external charger to charge the battery. Most of the chinese ones available on Jumia can do that.

What killed the battery was either it was not charged properly by your inverter or you drained it excessively (basically you regularly drained it past 12v (on a 12v system) or 24v (on a 24v system)).

Actually this was one of the first questions people should have asked on here, is it 12v or a 24v system you are using? Oh and did you buy the batteries brand new

Thanks a lot for the response. I hardly drain the battery. Maybe once or twice a month in the last six month. Where can I get the external charger in Lagos.
The battery was gotten brand new from D2H. It’s a 24V system.

The problem with charging lead acid battery with nepa is that it never gets a full consistent charge. The intermittent supply ends up excessively cycling the battery and eventually killing it.

You may still be able recover it. Take it to a battery maintenance person who will try to trickle charge it.

Kind of degradation you experience on Lead acid, it just continues to drop.. save your self the stress and get your self LFP packs.

Hello House; kindly assist.
I have an inverter setup with 2 Amaron quanta 200AH battery and 1.5kva luminous inverter that I have been using for about 18month now. I use nepa light to charge it.
It use to have backup light of about 6 - 10hours when I started using it. My major load is my 65inches TV and 3fans with bulbs.
Now, the setup get fully charge in less than 2hours and get drained in less than 2hours.
What could be the problem.

Except it's a 24v inverter system, that's only when your 2 batteries will work.
I think their 5,8,12kw systems are rated at 48v.

It's not advisable connecting new batteries to old batteries. The old will weaken the new ones .

Can I use the two old battery with a 5-8kw inverter pending when I can get new set of battery.
