After a Sunday Service where the Pastor had read the scripture above about the fig tree and how Jesus Cursed the tree becos it failed to bring forth fruit, I kept wondering to myself throughout the service and even several weeks later if it was fair for Jesus to'd cursed that tree. Would it not had been justified if it was the season for fig and that tree in particular didn't produce fruit in spite of its season and then Jesus had gone ahead to curse it? Well, I asked the Lord Jesus himself to explain why a tree would be so cursed that in less than 24 hours it withered from its root. I was glad when he opened my eyes to see and have a clearer and deeper understanding of what exactly transpired on that fateful day...!!! I want to share the Rhema on that and several others for our edification and learning...!!! Pls feel free to drop your thought as well lets do it together...!!! |

In the book of Mark 11:12-25 New International Version (NIV) 12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.... ... 20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!” Since the Bible clearly stated that "it was not the season for fig", why did Jesus curse the fig tree then? Afterall it was not its season to bring forth fruits...!!! |

Exactly my argument when i found out JAMB has excluded Cyber Cafe Registration centers after collecting N10,000 from previous years' accreditation. |

Epathra: Please help ♏ε̲̣̣̣̥ put OP in the know. People r getting married doesn't mean they shld starve all day.I didn't say they shouldn't eat but eating outside and also in a car was what got my attention...!!! Like someone said, they should have at least closed the doors or use a secluded section or VIP section of the event center. Pls read properly before commenting...!!! |

Back then in the University (BLW) Campus Ministry, we use to say that if serving God was foolishness then we don't want to be wise...!!! After reading some online comments about Pst. Chris, CE members and the Church of Jesus Christ, I only but weep for our generation. This is not an attack on the person of Pst Chris but an attack on the body of Christ whom he represents. If you have ever read the book 'Piercing the Darkness' by Frank Peretti (that book is a must read for every Christian) you will be able to see the hand writing on the wall. Am a proud member of CE and will always be. If I'm given another opportunity in the next world, I will identify with Jesus Christ through CE. I was at the communion service today and heard what Pst said about the divorce saga, I still believe God knows best how to handle our affairs individually and collectively. I will continue to pray as instructed by God and Pst for both himself and Pst. Anita whom I also love not becos I have met her personally or been pastored directly by her but just for being the wife of Pst Chris is enough to share in the grace. I must say she impacted my life as a young man back then in the University (BLW) Campus ministry. There's always a challenging time for everyone of us but if you know anything about challenges, you know it only makes us stronger. This one won't be an exception. Cuz private schools re to get new jamb number after paying for regularization n my school once told me they ll sought the JAMB number out dat mine is jux to pay, buh d bone of contention now is that I was told long b4 it obvious we ll register online.Yes you will be asked for your Jamb Reg Number. If it does not correspond with the NYSC data base it will return an error message that your reg number is invalid. You will need to sort that out with your institution. The Rivers State Commissioner for Health Sampson Paker should immediatly resign and be given a dose of the EVD for lying to Rivers people. Up until this morning he was still blabing on radio that there was no Ebola Virus threat in Rivers State only for him to retract his statement some few minutes later to confirm the death of a doctor by the EVD. I remember the last time the RSHA invited him and rebuked him for not doing enough against the Virus. Now we are faced with the reality....!!! God be with us...!!! |
