That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, God commanded that Aaron’s name be written on the rod of the tribe of Levi. This rod would eventually bud and blossom and bring forth fruits. Aaron’s rod became the center of a mighty miracle. God was about to do something special and supernatural for Aaron, and Aaron’s name was written on the rod.

Because Aaron’s name was written on the rod, there was no confusion when it budded, blossomed and fruited. Because Aaron’s name was on his rod, there was no contention as to who the miracle belonged to. No other person was going to claim what clearly belonged to Aaron; Aaron’s testimony had his name on it.

Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: as your miracle comes, it will have your name on it. Your blessings will not be diverted; your next level will not be given to another; what God has packaged for you will not be given to another; your promotion, increase, exceeding expansion, portion in destiny, etc will not be diverted; your blessing has your name on it.

Prophetically write your name on every blessing coming your way; write your name on the opportunity God provided for you; write your name on the position you desire; write your name on the future you are praying for; write your name on your expectations; write your name on every new territory God has miraculously granted you. Write your name on every word God has spoken about you.

Aaron’s rod has his name on it, and when his miracle happened, there was no controversy. God says, your name is on your miracle, and there shall be no controversy, no man shall contend with your portion.

Psalm 16 vs. 5 says: “The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.”

Prayer: Lord, my portion has my name on it; no man shall take what is mine, in Jesus’ name! Amen

YOU CAN'T BE STOPPED

In Numbers 16, some men ganged up against Moses and Aaron. Those men felt offended that Moses and Aaron were ahead of them and superintending over them; they opposed Moses and Aaron because of positions that God gave to them; they opposed Moses and Aaron because God raised them up.

When those men ganged up, their gang up failed and their opposition came to nothing. They came together in their numbers, they murmured and protested, they did all they could to cut short Moses' and Aaron’s destinies and stop their future, but they couldn’t stop them.

Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: your haters may try really hard but they can't stop you; they can rise in their numbers and conspire against you but you are unstoppable; they can tell all manner of lies against you, but their lies won’t make any difference: you can’t be stopped. God’s word will prevail over every opposition against you.

Some people may not like your face but they can’t deny your grace. They may not like the fact that you are blessed, but to their chagrin, God will bless you even more. Some may hate you because God raised you above them, but as they protest, God will establish your rising. When haters contest for your place and position, God will rule in your favour.

Those men did their best to stop Moses and Aaron, but they didn’t succeed because God was on their side. If God be for you, every conspiracy and opposition against you is destined to fail.

Psalm 18 vs. 43 says: "Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen..."

Prayer: Lord, frustrate, defeat and humiliate every opposition against me, in Jesus’ name! Amen

Our Focal Scripture speaks of when some men opposed Aaron’s priestly position. In Exodus 28 vs. 1-3, God chose Aaron and his sons for the office of priesthood, but some men later rose to oppose that position. Some men murmured against what God said concerning Aaron and his sons. There was a striving against God’s word for Aaron.

Friend, the fact that God has spoken a word concerning you does not mean that the enemy won’t oppose that word. The fact that God has opened doors for you does not mean that there won’t be many adversaries; the fact that God has made you several promises does not mean that people won’t rise to work against those promises; God’s word for you can attract massive opposition to you.

Some people might hate you, not because you did any wrong, but because you are God’s favoured one; others will gossip against you because they can’t stand the blessings of God on you; some people would even be offended because you are the chosen one. Some people will refuse to speak to you because you have risen too high for their liking.

When next you face opposition, remind yourself and the enemy that there is a word over your life. Remind the devil of God’s word concerning your good health, children, marriage, etc; remind every battle that rages against you that you already have your victory guaranteed in Christ; remind every opposition you face that you didn’t bless yourself.

Instead of paying attention to your haters, focus on God whose word concerning you is making you the envy of many. Remember, if God didn’t say anything about you, there will be nothing to oppose.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your word over my life, in Jesus’ name! Amen

HIGHER RESULTS

“And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.”

When Elijah met the widow of Zarephath, she told him that she had a handful of meal and a little oil which was only enough for her and her son to eat once, and die. What she had was only enough for one meal; what she had was going to bring limited results.

When she obeyed Elijah and prepared him a meal, the little oil and handful of meal was enough to feed them for many days. When God stepped in, it became more than enough for many days. She did what should bring limited results, and she got a massive result. She put in the same effort, but received a higher result.
Friend, hear God’s prophetic word: you might make the same efforts, but it will fetch you higher results. You will do the same thing that didn’t pay off in the past, and it will pay off massively; you will write the same proposals that didn’t fetch you any income in the past, but this time, it will fetch you massive income; you will put in the same efforts that didn’t yield much profit before, but your profit will be massive.

Your little efforts will bring lasting results; your small endeavour will make lasting impact; the same things you have done repeatedly without results will begin to bring in results that will blow your mind; that same career that left you stagnated is about to take you to your next level; that same enterprise that made no difference to your income is about to make a huge, massive difference.

When it was all about her efforts, the widow of Zarephath was only going to get one meal; but when God (through Elijah) got involved, it became a meal for many days. Get God involved in your efforts, and He will transform your efforts to bring in massive results.

Prayer: Lord, cause my little efforts to bring me massive results, in Jesus’ name! Amen

While assuring the widow of Zarephath of divine sustenance, God promised that the cruse of oil will not fail. God promised that there will be no failure. Failure is simply a lack of success; so, put differently, God promised that there will be no lack of success. Invariably, God promised success.

Failure is when one tries but doesn’t succeed; failure is when one does one’s best but doesn’t get the right results; failure is when one tries to hit a target and ends up missing the target. Failure is when one works really hard but has nothing to show for it.

Today, every spirit of failure around you is broken. Every cycle of failure you have been caught in is broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. You shall not fail; your children, business, career, ministry, enterprise, etc will not fail; you shall not make efforts and end up empty handed; you won’t do your best and miss your target; failure shall be far from your dwelling. Every failure the enemy has planned for you shall not stand.

Instead of failing, you shall succeed; instead of having nothing to show for your efforts, you shall have resounding results that will silence your naysayers; instead of being relegated in obscurity, you shall have your place in undeniable visibility. Every past failure shall be replaced with success.

Deal with every spirit of failure through prayers and by playing your part for success to become your reality. If God be for you, you shall have more success than you ever asked for.

In our Focal Scripture, God promised the widow of Zarephath that the barrel of meal shall not waste; God promised that there will be no waste. When something is wasted, value is expended without any commensurate result. God wanted to seal the victory He destined for Elijah and the widow of Zarephath, and He declared that there shall be no waste.

Sometimes in life, we are where we are, not because we haven't made profound efforts, but because our efforts turned out to be a waste of time. Sometimes, our investments turn out to be a waste of resources; sometimes, our time is wasted, our opportunities are wasted, our resourses are wasted, etc.

Today, hear God’s prophetic word: every spirit of waste hovering around your destiny shall not prosper. Every waste that the enemy has projected against you shall come to nothing. Every plan of the enemy to make you expend efforts and resources without positive results will not stand. God says, in your destiny, there shall be no waste.

Your time will not be wasted; your finances, opportunities, ideas, resources, relationships, future, etc will not suffer from the spirit of waste; everything that God has given you will serve its purpose without being wasted; your life will not be a tale of waste.

For everything in your life that has ever been wasted, knock on the doors of heaven and demand for restoration with compensation. If God be for you, no matter what the enemy does, there shall be no waste.

When Elijah came to the widow of Zarephath, she insisted that all she had was just enough for herself and her son. She was already commanded by God to feed Elijah during his stay in Zarephath; but when Elijah came, she began telling a different tale. She acted like she heard nothing from God. She seemed unwilling to obey God's instruction to her.

Faced with the reluctance of the widow of Zarephath, Elijah commanded her to prepare a meal for him before feeding herself and her son. Elijah enforced God's word. What God said about him was about to be thrown out, but he didn’t take no for an answer; he insisted on God’s word concerning him, and there was compliance.

Friend, is there a word God has spoken concerning you? God says, affirm the word concerning you even if circumstances gang up against the word. Insist on, and proclaim the word God has spoken concerning you even if present day realities are against it. If God has said it, confess it, believe it, enforce it with your declarations, don’t take no for an answer, stand on what He has said.

Stand on God’s word concerning your divine health; stand and insist on God’s word concerning your increase and abundance; use your prophetic declarations to enforce every word God has given you, even if it sounds impossible; stand on every word that is written concerning you.

Elijah enforced the word God spoke to him, and it was fulfilled through the same woman who was initially reluctant. Some people and situations may be reluctant to comply with God’s word concerning you, but as you enforce the word, they will obey.

When the Elijah met the widow of Zarephath, she was gathering sticks to use in preparing food for herself and her son. She was making personal efforts that should bring her personal results. Eventually, those efforts benefited Elijah. Her labour yielded results for Elijah. Her labour became Elijah’s favour.

Friend, God says, the labour of others will become your favour. The efforts of others will bring you results; as others make proposals, you will be a beneficiary of the efforts; as others open some doors, you will be a beneficiary of the doors they opened; as others make efforts to put the right policies in place, those policies will benefit you immensely; as others labour privately, you will enjoy the fruits of their labour.

When that widow of Zarephath had herself and her son in mind while making preparations; but after her preparation, Elijah became a partaker. Some people may have themselves in mind as they make certain efforts, but God says, as they labour, you will be a partaker; you'll reap amazing results from their efforts.

What others labour for, God says, you will get yours as gifts. Others will fight for what they feel is their personal interest, and when they are done, you will be a partaker. People may have amazing ideas on how to make their own lives better, but God says, you will be the first partaker.

Ask God to take you to the realm of reaping from the efforts of others. Ask God to cause the labour of others to become your favour.

Isaiah 60 vs. 10 says: "And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee...".

Prayer: Lord, the labour of others shall bring my favour, in Jesus’ name! Amen
