the next stage is renunciation....

Renunciation is not prayer: it is a sober and sorry mood state between Man and God, that is, renunciation is made unto God.

Renunciation means abandonment, rejection, denial, letting go, etc.,
During renunciation, we are like prisoners who urgently needs complete freedom, but can never be able to bail his/her self.
Therefore, during renunciation, we have no power of our own. We always call upon the God of Elijah to come and help us and separate us.

You don't use terminologies like; I break myself, I bind, I loose... These are 'wrong' lines, as it communicates freedom and authority to God, who we are supposed to plead upon!

Therefore, we don't use terminologies like; I pray, I break my cord and I attach myself, I loose, I bind, rather we use;
I want God to please help me break,
Please, God have mercy on me, and then separate me or break me out from this covenant...
I want God to please cut off my cord and to please attach it to the Abrahamic bloodline where Jesus Christ came from, in Jesus name. Amen

In addition to this, before you start you have to ask God for forgiveness of sins of your mothers, fathers and yourself. Sins of your ancestors. You ask God to forgive you. After which you start the renunciation of your family idols. If you know anyone mention the name and renounce them and now plead with God to break you from any covenant with them all.

I will suggest that the fellow should endeavour to write it out in a paper sheet, and to be used while the fellow will go down on his/her knees.

Sins of worshipping and bowing down to other gods knowingly or unknowingly, sins of eating and drinking with idols worshiper's.
Sins of bearing names that is from the demonic Kingdom, sins of allowing my body to be contaminated with demonic properties through incisions or any other mark.
God my father, please forgive me all my mentioned sins and please, cut off my cord from my family bloodline and attach it to the Abrahamic bloodline where Jesus Christ came from, in Jesus name. Amen

EARLY TESTIMONIES

“And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.” (Mark 16: 2)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

According to our Focal Scripture, very early in the morning on the first day of the week, after the Sabbath day, the women came to the sepulcher where Jesus was buried, and they found that Jesus was no longer there. After the day of worship, they found that a major miracle had happened. After their encounter with the Lord on the day of Sabbath, by the next day, they got a miracle. After meeting God, their results met them early.

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: your encounters with God will soon birth mega evidence that will terminate all arguments; your communion with God will soon give rise to results that will blow your mind and cause you to celebrate; as you complete any meeting with God, the next thing you will see will be a testimony; your prayers will be followed by testimonies; your worship will be followed by testimonies.

The testimony of those women that took spices to anoint Jesus’ body came immediately after the Sabbath, on the first day of the week. Their testimony came speedily, with no delays. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your testimonies shall come speedily; your testimonies shall be early, with no delays; your testimonies will meet you as you wake up and step out; your testimonies will come so quickly like they were in a hurry to locate you.

No longer will it be said that your walk with God left you empty handed; no longer shall it be said that your testimonies were delayed. The same God who gave those women a mega testimony as the week began will give you a mega testimony early enough before you are embarrassed by the vicissitudes of life. The same God who fulfilled His word by that testimony will fulfill His word concerning you with testimonies.

Get set for early testimonies; get set to receive the evidence of your walk with God.

Psalm 90: 14 says: “O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”

RELAX

After Jesus was crucified, the next day was Sabbath, and by the next day after Sabbath, the women came with spices to anoint His body. The Sabbath day was a day of rest; so between the crucifixion and the resurrection, there was a day of rest. Between the sad news and the testimony, there was rest. Between the pain and the joy, there was rest. Between what looked like a setback and the miracle, there was rest.

Friend, you may still be awaiting your ephphatha moment, you may still be praying for your doors and gates to be opened, but it’s high time you relaxed. Relax from all the pressures of your pending expectations; relax from all the bad news that may have come to you already; relax from the pain and shame you may have suffered in the past; relax from every ‘crucifixion’ that has come your way. Calm your nerves as you await your resurrection’.

The day of crucifixion may have looked like the worst day there would ever be in the lives of those women; but after the day of rest, everything turned around for good. The worst gave way for the best after the day of rest. Hear me as I hear the Lord: as you rest your mind from the challenges that have besieged you, the worst will give way for the best to come. As you relax, God will take control and make all things good.

Jesus already promised that He would resurrect, and there was no point getting agitated for a promise that was already sure to happen. Don’t lose sleep when God has already committed Himself by His word. Don’t feel pressured when God has spoken a word that He is sure to fulfill. Don’t let what is yet to happen cause you to lose your mind. Don’t allow your mind to lose control because of unfulfilled expectations that will be eventually fulfilled.

Rely on God’s word; if God has said it, believe it, and relax. Don’t let the devil make you agitated over what God has already guaranteed.

Psalm 37: 7 says: “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him...”

DON’T GIVE UP

Our Focal Scripture tells the tale of how Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, got sweet spices with which they planned to anoint Jesus’ body. These women knew or heard that Jesus had been crucified; they probably knew that having died, there was no more life in Him; they knew the humiliation and pain He had been through, they knew He had been crucified and buried, but they got spices and came looking for Him.

Someone who was buried two days earlier would have begun to decompose gradually, things would have gone out of shape and out of control, things would have gone amiss in the corpse of Jesus assuming He was still dead and in the grave; but these women would not be deterred. Despite all that was wrong and had gone wrong, they still went looking for Jesus. Their faith could have been badly tested, but they still went looking for Jesus.

Friend, there comes a time when you do not know what to believe; there comes a time when your faith suffers strain; there comes a time when you have done all you should do, yet without results; there comes a time when you simply have run out of ideas because your best ideas have fetched you nothing. At such times, don’t give up; keep seeking Jesus; keep following hard after the Master.

Those women had every reason to give up, but they didn’t. Even if you have good reasons to give up, don’t give up; even if your faith appears to have failed you, don’t give up; even if you have reasons to quit the chase for your desired results, don’t give up. Even if it makes no sense to continue, don’t give up; even if it is more profitable to give up and cut your losses, don’t give up.

Those women did not give up, they pressed on, and they saw the open grave and heard from an angel that Jesus had risen. If you don’t give up, good news will come your way sooner than later.

Hebrews 10: 35-36 says: “35. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. 36. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.”

PAY YOUR DEBT

“Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.” (2 Kings 4: 7)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, after telling the widow of one of the sons of the prophets to sell her oil, Elisha told her to pay her debt, and live on the rest of the money. That woman came to Elisha because of a debt that the creditor wanted to recover, and Elisha’s counsel to her after her oil multiplied was, “pay your debt”. She received resources so that she could pay what she owed. She received resources for a purpose she needed to fulfill.

Friend, as you receive ‘resources’ from the Lord, pay your ‘debt’. Pay attention to what needs to be done with whatever the Lord has given you. Pay attention to the help you need to give to those around you; pay attention to the negative cycles that need to change; pay attention to those who must be set free from bondage through your prayers; pay attention to the circumstances that need to change through your ‘resources’.

There was a purpose for that increase that God granted that widow in our Focal Scripture. There is a purpose for the resources the Lord has given you. There is a purpose for the opportunities, platforms, strength, insight, wisdom, open doors, breakthroughs, etc that God has granted you; and success can only happen when you rightfully appropriate what God has given you in line with the purpose for which He gave same to you.

Did you know that the widow of one of the sons of the prophets could have enjoyed the miracle of multiplied oil, sold the oil, and squandered the proceeds, only to come again to Elisha if the creditor showed up again? Did you know that if you fail to pay attention to what the Lord would have you do with the resources, time, opportunities, etc He has given you, you might soon return to the same spot you are trying to break free from?

Don’t be counted among those who could not pay their destiny debts when resources from heaven were poured out. Use your oil purposefully. Pay your debts to your generation.

Proverbs 20: 5 MSG says: “Knowing what is right is like deep water in the heart; a wise person draws from the well within.”

DIVINE STRATEGY

“Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.” (2 Kings 4: 7)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

When the oil of the widow of one of the sons of the prophets multiplied, she came back to Elisha; and Elisha instructed her to go and sell the oil. That woman had resources in her hands, but she came back to the prophet to get a direction and a strategy that would lead to the profit she needed. Her resources got mixed with a divine strategy (from Elisha), and she got profit. Her profit was engineered by a divine strategy.

Friend, you may already have the resources you need, but just maybe, the missing link in hitting your target is the absence of a divine strategy. You need a divine insight on how to do things differently. You need a divine strategy on how to fulfill your assignment. You need a divine strategy on how to make your business go global. You need a divine strategy on how to become more relevant in your career, ministry, vocation, etc.

There is a huge profit that should accrue to your destiny, and it just might be tucked away in a divine strategy you are yet to receive. There is a unique strategy that heaven could give you that will make you greater than your contemporaries. There are divine insights that God could open your eyes to see, and it will position you strategically in a generation that is looking for how to make progress in a badly battered world.

That woman could have chosen to do things her own way since she had received a multiplication of oil through Elisha, but she came back to him for a prophetic direction. The mere fact that God has begun to open doors for you does not mean that it is okay to do everything your own way. Even when your oil has multiplied, do well to come back to the Multiplier Himself. Even when you rise and increase, still make room for divine instructions and divine directions.

Remember, that woman came to Elisha and she got her divine strategy. Put differently, she came to God, and she got the strategy for profit. Seek God and ask for the divine strategy that will birth your next level profit.

Isaiah 30: 21 says: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”

BREAK THE LIMITS

“And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.” (2 Kings 4: 6)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

It is instructive to observe that the flow of oil for that widow of one of the sons of the prophets ceased the very moment the vessels finished. The oil kept flowing when there were vessels to fill, and once the vessels finished, the oil stopped flowing. There was a divine enablement for multiplication to happen in her life, but that multiplication stopped the moment she had no more room for multiplication to happen.

Friend, there is a divine opportunity to be more, and when you have the chance, don’t limit yourself. Don’t reduce your expectations for results. Don’t limit the spread of your influence. Don’t halt your advancement simply because you feel you can’t be more. Don’t cut down your scope of greatness because you are unwilling to stretch yourself and do more than men expect from you.

Could it be possible that the sons of that widow felt they had borrowed enough vessels, without knowing that were setting limits to an outpouring that God had ordained? Could it be that they were too tired to get more vessels? Could it be that they lacked the vision and understanding of what God could make happen if they got more? Could it be that they had no idea that it was in their hands to determine the scope of increase?

When destiny presents you an opportunity to do more, please don’t do less. When you have a chance to give more results, don’t give fewer results. When you have a chance to break forth on all sides, don’t limit yourself. Don’t excuse yourself from heights that God has empowered you to attain. Don’t allow the much you have seen and the much you can conveniently do, to make you miss out on dimensions that were already open to you.

Remember, you can be more; you can do more; you can have more; God can make you more if you are willing.

2 Kings 3: 16 says: “And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.”

I have come to return all Glory, Honor and adoration to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God of Elijah, the God of servant Vic.

God bless my family with a bouncing baby boy few months after blessing us with a wonderful Miracle girl. Within a short period my hands are filled with the blessings of Almighty God.

The man of God sent me a message early last year on while I need to deal with child birth early because of powers from mother's house, God performed spiritual surgery to remove blood clot that can prevent pregnancy from my womb, then May last year, I saw the man of God in my dream he told me I couldn't get pregnant the last time because of the blood clot, he told me in that dream to be ready to conceive now, in June I got pregnant, we never knew I was pregnant until September last year, the moment we know the baby started moving in my womb. Also we taught it will be another girl, I was shocked when I was told it's a baby boy two weeks to delivery.

When the trouble from mother's house was overwhelming and we started going places for prayers, I was told I can only conceive when my mother dies, I started praying for her death which even gave her more power over my life, no peace of mind until I met the man of God who taught me the way of the Lord, I'm a mother of a beautiful girl and handsome boy now, my mother is still alive and well and still practicing her witchcraft, but all powers belongs to God. I see all their activities but they just kept on failing over my life.

God gave me a stress-free deliverance on this mountain.

God also made the delivery easy and fast for me, I came out victorious with the gift of God.
His daddy named him Albert, I call him Testimony.

SHUT THE DOOR

“And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.” (2 Kings 4: 4)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

Elisha instructed the widow of one of the sons of the prophets to shut her door and pour the oil in her pot into vessels she borrowed from her neighbours. That woman was on her way to increase and restoration, and she needed to shut the door. She needed to shut the door before new chapters of her increase could be unveiled. She needed to shut her door before her increase could be birthed behind closed doors.

Friend, there is an unveiling of new chapters of your life, and it can only happen behind closed doors. There are divine deposits that God wants to put in you behind closed doors. There is an outpouring of the Spirit of God into your inner man, and the venue of that outpouring is behind closed doors. There is an unveiling of royalty that is scheduled to happen in your life, and it will happen, not in the open, but behind closed doors.

Greatness is not birthed in the open; it is birthed in the secret. Greatness is birthed in those steps you take where eyes cannot see; greatness is born in those extra efforts you put into your work that men are not aware of; greatness is born through those private moments you share alone with God, communing and listening to Him speak to you. Greatness is born in the secret place. Greatness is born behind closed doors.

Pay close attention to what you do behind closed doors. Make room for more and more of God in your private moments. Make more efforts that men are not aware of. Improve on yourself where eyes cannot see. It may be okay to pray in the midst of people, but take it a notch higher and spend more prayer moments alone, groaning in the Spirit, and downloading from the portals of heaven. Work on yourself while others sleep.

Remember, the oil that multiplied behind closed doors was the oil that was to be sold so that poverty could be expunged from the life of that widow and her sons. Give your secret place priority attention, and you will experience a multiplication.

Psalm 91: 1 says: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Glory be to the God of CCT. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Elijah. He has given my family a great testimony. My wife has given birth to a baby boy.

God is so faithful. The man of God prayed for us and gave us instructions on what to do as we await the baby's arrival and by the grace of God, we followed those instructions and the Lord saw us through and gave us this bundle of joy.

We are really thankful as the Lord has given us a new song to sing. Both mother and child are hale and hearty and in less than 24 hours of our arrival at the hospital, we are now back home.

Praise the Lord!!!
