I do not support Oshiomole's reaction, but, truth be told, airlines in Nigeria have a long way to go in this regards. And not just Air Peace.

I was with a friend at the airport about 2 years ago. The airline (United Airlines) closed the gates about 90 minutes before the departure time, saying that the plane was full ('oversubscribed'), even though the passenger had checked in online as well.

We begged and begged, and even called their HQ abroad. The staff at the HQ said her seat is available and that we should approach the Nigerian staffs, but those ones said nothing could be done as the gates have been closed for the day.

She had to pay about $1000 extra to be rescheduled for another flight the next day. (It was an international flight).

What is the purpose of online check-in when you have to do the same at the airport?
