Hello,in my opinion I would advice you become chartered first by doing your ICAN or ACCA. You can do your Masters' afterwards. I know of some people who started writing ICAN exams while in the university and completed it during NYSC. It's not too late to start.

Intelligentdude:
With an economics degree ,you can work in a variety of different fields from finance and banking, public policy,sales and marketing, civil service (government departments, the Federal Inland Revenue, etc.), insurance and actuarial work, etc.

However,I'll suggest you go for ICAN or ACCA so you'll stand a much better chance in the labour market particularly in the financial sector. Adding a professional qualification like ICAN or ACCA to your Bachelor's degree( Economics) increases your chance of getting a job in a top notch consulting firm like KPMG,Deloitte,PWC etc and also reputable organizations like Bank,Oil company,Investment bank,FMCG company etc.
