Again, all depends on the 3rd party distributor's understanding of business, vision, business policy to navigate the harsh business environment. Remember he would also want to make good profit.

If the 3rd party distributor decides to work with only wholesalers around the federation (which is possible because GSK consumer brands are well known), then he is trying to maximise profit margin per product, and minimise risk at the expense of high turnover.

If he decides to have reps, then he is chasing high sales turn over, minimal profit margin per product ( if you factor in running cost of reps) and high profit margin in cumulative sales. Same time he will be exposed to more risk.
However, he will never be able to pay reps and roll out employee welfare packages as GSK did. They are the manufacturers, they make a whole lot of profit on these products and it gives them leverage to offer employees good remuneration. A 3rd party distributor is just same as importing product from china or india- in fact this might even be more profitable than the 3rd party GSK distributor.

If the new organisation chooses to go with rep, truth is they will pay for expenses other remuneration, but it will never be as good as GSK

GSK nigeria has a production plant in nigeria. The organisation is managed by nigerians. Most shareholders are nigerians and the company is a player in the NSE. you are now comparing such an organisation to a one man business that import drugs from india or china and give to graduates on the streets to sell. You are definitely on colos

First off, importing from india and china means we are outsourcing the most knowledge based and critical part of pharma jobs to china and india. We are not adding value to the production value chain. We only succeed in keeping Indians and chinese employed. Same time wasting our hard earned forex while making india and china richer.
Those companies that import from china and india, pls mention any one of them that is a player in NSE. none!
In the Nigerian pharma industry, GSK are basically at the top when it comes to employee enumeration and welfare. They are top shelf. None of those mushroom companies who import pay their staff as half as GSK. Not to talk about car policies for the field reps and other welfare packages.

No matter how expensive their brands are and the competition there in, they still remain the brands of choice in all states and federal teaching hospitals, in all FMCs, in all boutique private hospitals and in all boutique pharmacies nationwide.
Their business model was never to sell to 200m nigerians, they are out to service only the elites. That's why their products are best in class.

You can name 50 brands of antibiotic that you will think they are in competition with augmenting, but when your elites fall sick, they will insist on paying 17k for GSK branded augmenting than paying 3k for those unknown brands imported from china and india.
It is what it is!

I worked with GSK for over 10 years as a senior manager and I know the system like the back of my hands.

With the level of Naira falling, the products would be too costly for Iberians to buy because GSK builds one of the best pharmacies products in the world.

Let me tell You where the issue is. She her self did not forged it. It was done by her dad or his friend or even one of the school teachers because the all believed she is very intelligent. It might be that some one who knows how to manipulate results told her dad or even the teacher on how to manipulate results without the girl knowledge. To me her dad knows the truth concerning the result.

So she want to tell us that she did not ask her friends about their own results and non of them show her how the format of their results is, because she is the only one with that type of format. And when all her mate were sending code to get their results on phone she did not do it.. Or when all her friends printed their own results with their pictures on it she did not do it. But only has the old format of result slip and she did not ask question
