Greetings to y’all. I did my MSc Info. Tech project sometime in Nov 2021 and up till now I’m yet to see my project result on the portal. I’ve told the counselor and she said my name alongside a few other persons who haven’t seen their result was forwarded to Abuja. I noticed that some persons have seen their results since then but I’m yet to see mine and it’s really saddening. Pls, does anyone have an idea on how I can resolve the issue? I sincerely don’t know what else to do right now and any idea at all that would yield positive result would be highly appreciated. Cheers. |
Olamilite:I checked the portal but couldn’t find my project result listed among other courses. Pls, I’m terrified by this and I’m wondering what could have gone wrong. Are all the PG project results out? Is there another way of checking the result apart from going through the aforementioned? @Anthonyo15, @Samisha500, and every other knowledgeable person who have a valid answer should please throw more light on this. My BP just increased and I’m worried. A swift response would be highly appreciated. |
Enskynelson:Oh, okay. Many thanks for your swift response, @Enskynelson. You’re among those that have been assisting students on this platform. Thanks for all you do. |
Anthonyo15:Thanks for all you do, @Anthonyo15. You’re among those that feed this platform with information. Pls, does the postgraduate result usually include project results? I’m wondering because I couldn’t see my project result (project defense was done sometime last week) alongside other results and I’m troubled. Hope to hear from you or anyone with an information ASAP. Thanks. |
I’m very sorry for those that got disappointed by the refusal(s) from CIC. I know how saddening it can be but don’t be depressed by the current outcome of your visa application. Someone once said they give same generic reasons once they’ve completed their quota for a stipulated period of time. Repackage yourselves and reapply. Delay is not denial and it will surely end in praise(s) for y’all. @Blije, what’s up? Have you heard anything from CIC? Is there any other June applicants in the house that’s yet to hear from CIC? I’m keeping my fingers crossed and I believe it will end in praise! Good luck to all hopefuls! |
naijalodge:I can’t really say for sure how much your co-sponsor should have in his/her account since they apparently don’t have much. There are some other factors that might come into play here like; how many people are depending on your co-sponsor? Is he or she married with kids? Etc I suggest the co-sponsor should expedite a transfer of at least 10k CAD (for your living expenses regardless of the fact that you don’t need it) to you and thereafter, write a letter of co-sponsor indicating why he/she is supporting your education. I think that would suffice. Other knowledgeable people can throw more light on this if you still need further clarification. |
naijalodge:In truth, I think it would be better for you to increase the funds at your disposal (8m) or at least get a co-sponsor. There are so many other factors involved than just having slightly above the amount needed for your proposed study. Try to increase the funds to above 10m if you can or at least, get a co-sponsor to be on a safe side. I guess you must have weighed in other options that might prompt a refusal apart from tuition fees and living expenses, right? Cheers! |
naijalodge:1. PGD (Postgraduate Diploma) and PGC (Postgraduate Certificate) can be used interchangeably and they basically mean the same thing and serve the same purpose. So yes, you can apply for Masters degree with either PGC or PGD. 2. Conestoga College is a good college and it’s ranked among the best 10 colleges in Canada. 3. As for you being your own sponsor with a SOA of 8m, you need to do a simple arithmetic yourself. Does the 8m cover your living expenses (10,000 CAD)? Does the 8m cover your tuition fee? Does the 8m cover your flight fees? 4. Reread the aforementioned (#1) Cheers! |
