The AGAPE kind of love is found in God's love for humanity and mother's love towards her offspring
Religion / Re: Let's Talk About Love. by blessida: 12:49pm On Nov 06, 2014
In a scenario between two opposite sex. love can be defined as the emotional feelings or "butterfly in the stomach feeling" you get when you are attracted to someone. But from observation this kind of love hardly last.Once the embers of excitement dies so the love dies also.
Religion / Re: Let's Talk About Love. by blessida: 12:43pm On Nov 06, 2014
Love means giving and selflessness; For God so love the world that he gave his ONLY begotten Son. True love entails SACRIFICE of every necessary things no matter how important for the the other party's wellbeing
Fashion / Re: What Is Your Cant-do-without Make-up Item? by blessida: 8:52am On Nov 04, 2014
mine would definitely be eyeliner cos it highlights the eyes, like they say "the eyes is the mirror to the soul" and then lipgloss comes next to moisturise and plump the lips

you married a good husband.
zboyd:

My take?

It depends on the family dynamics.

Some men, like my hubby and the men in my family never look toward their wives to financially support the family. The wives work if they want to - not because they have to. If hard times hit, then it's the husbands that do the hustling - not the wives. Looking toward their wives' purses is an insult and conveys the message that they, the husbands, can't support the family. This is why my hubby fit in so well into my family, even though he's Nigerian. He took his responsibility as a husband and father VERY seriously.

Our biggest fight came about when his entire department was eliminated, due to budget cuts. I wanted to help out the household financially. So I suggested he file for unemployment benefits, until he found another job and I would take up the slack. What was I thinking?!

That man BLEW UP!!! He accused me of not having any faith in him, asked me if I thought him a small boy in need of pampering, propping up and rescuing and told me that if I wanted a sorry azz nig-ger who couldn't take care of his own family, then go and find one. He was sooo pizzed off, he started ranting and raving in his language, which I couldn't even understand.

WHOA NELLY!!!

To say I was shocked by his reaction is an understatement. I thought it best to take the kids to my parents, so he could cool down. I never thought that such a gentle, loving man could go off like that! When I talked to my Dad about it, surprisingly, he sided with my hubby. Dad said that I had seriously wounded his pride and to never, ever tread on his territory again, as head of household, stay in my place as wife and mother and go back home.

Okay...so I did.

Hubby sulked for a couple of days but he came around.

But I admit, I should have known better, growing up around the men I did.

It took him almost 8 months to land a new position but that man hustled his azz off to bring money into the house, without complaint and, I kept my mouth shut.

Result: PEACE!!!

There re so many things that needs to be put into consideration,
1. the influence of this states in its region and most importantly its sub region,
2. the economic viability of this state. of course we wont want our permanent representative to be a nation that is solely dependent on foreign european aid and relief, take for example a country like GHANA or SOMALIA ( i am sorry for the comparison #Harsh reality)
3. the role that such a nation have played in the maintenance of peace in this region, such nation must have shown a reasonable amount of interest in the maintenance of peace and must have commited reasonable amount of resource in this direction from the north to the south of africa.
4. Such nation must have a history of engagements in the diplomatic resolution of conflict across africa.

it must be a nation for " black africans and by black africans" a nation that reflects the victories and failures of africa, a nation that is not free from the attacks of international propaganda
SUCH A NATION MUST BE NIGERIA

GodMode: There is no God.. The sooner people realise there is no God the better it will be.

Look at the difference between religious countries and non-religious countries.

There is no God but there is a Creator.

The Creator does not see itself as a God.

People are still gonna give free money and parts of their income today in religious institutions today.

This is my opinion... you don't have to curse me.
OK that is ur own opinion formed by u one of the creatures of GOD ALMIGHTY ,it does nt diminish the MIGHTINESS of GOD whether u deny HIS existence or not.The atheist who lived before you found out too late that they lived their lives on false belief created by their humane mind may ur case nt be like theirs in JESUS NAME

BadBoy25: Jesus christ is not as wicked as the fanatical religious bigots . Adolf Hitler has a better chance at heaven than a lot of these hypocrites .
I don't even go to church. I have my own belief and view .
ok so just because the bible says the spirit of God was moving in the waters and then said let there be light ,you believe thats actually what happened ? that story is actually metaphorical . God which is light has always existed for all time .
also the earth is not only 6000 years old . the noah story and other numerous stories in the bible are not meant to be taken literally .

the garden of eden was not on this physical earth,it was a spiritual realm.
the imperfect physical earth and physical realm is what was inherited after adam and eve sinned. no one really knows how adam and eve landed on this physical earth from the spiritual realm . maybe they just suddenly found themselves with bodies in a forest etc. a cherubim was sent to guard the gate of the garden after adam and eve were kicked out . all of adam's offspring must overcome the serpent and resist the apple (temptations and evil) in order to return to the garden of eden (Heaven)
my brother our GOD is so loving that he doesnt want anyone to perish thats why he gave us his son jesus christ so that we will not perish in hell if only we can accept him, whether we choose to believe it or not .hell fire is real and the most terrible place u can ever imagine.its a place where the devil and its demons torment people who end up there because they deny its existence and live as they please. at the end they find themselves there with no second chance at reparation ,the first chance has been misused. i pray this will nt be ur portion
