I am in My mid twenties, and lately I have been struggling with terrible lust. I just want to have sex. I have been resisting it because I am a Christian and have been warned since childhood that sex is not meant for the unmarried, so I have been careful about it, but if you check my last topic, I almost slept with our househelp b4 we parted ways.

I have prayed and fasted about it but it keeps getting stronger. I discovered masturbation by mistake, my parents didn't lecture me on it. I was watching pornography and as I was imitating the actors, I released and it felt good and since then I have not been able to stop. I have confessed and done all, but the more I try to stop the more I desire to have sex.

The internet, media, television is not helping at all, it has been overtaken by sexual immorality and perversion and nudity. It fuels people more to have sex. Likewise most women, I have seen too much tight fitted clothes that exposes all the contour and shapes on the street etc..

What can be done to escape this? Must I have sex to be satisfied? I have read that it is addictive, and know it wastes time, energy and money. I know and believe all the consequences of engaging in pre-marital sex, but I feel pain and burn resisting sex.

For those who are not married and are still virgins and those who were virgins till they got married, how do you and did you do it?
