Yes, it is possible to be successful in the wrong pursuit.

But the maximum form of fulfilment will come from your purpose.

When life gives you a lemon make lemonade, this phrase teaches how to use challenges to our advantage.

Challenges are constantly seen as a taboo that should be avoided.

We would rather cling to the juicy things life has to offer than face challenges.

THE TALES OF JONAH

I am sure you all are familiar with the story of Jonah who was swallowed by a fish for wanting to escape his original purpose.

Why did Jonah got swallowed by a fish for three days?

Why was the ship on the verge of capsizing with everyone was in it?.

Were the people guilty also?

No!

So many are like Jonah, they have fully mapped out a well documented laid out plan for their lives outside purpose.

They venture into the wrong pursuit and end up dragging a lot of people into the mess that came with it, like Jonah.

It is pure injustice to go into the wrong pursuit.

Why!

Potential that is not channelled into the right pursuit can turn into pain.

When you venture into the wrong pursuit you will hit a dead-end.

You will end up liability in the wrong pursuit.

You will never maximize your potential by doing the wrong thing.

There is a new urge to flow with the crowd. The media and the world around us constantly bombard us with messages, telling us how we ought to behave and whom we ought to model our lives after.

Know this,

The world will give you every tool you need to destroy yourself.

Therefore,

Own up to your uniqueness.

Rejoice in all that you are despite your weakness and imperfections.

Use your strength in becoming the best version of yourself.

Believe that you have something to offer to your world.

Let the world see your uniqueness, give no room for naysayers and doubt.

I taught pupils in class a topic called ASKING QUESTION ABOUT THINGS. I taught them to always ask questions on issues or topic they do not understand in class.


I made them see reasons why asking questions is important. While teaching this topic I realized that I was also guilty of what I was teaching. Sometimes we live life telling others what to do but not doing what we say.


I remembered my secondary school days where I find it difficult to ask questions in class. I am always too shy to reach to people for help or ask questions.


My mum will always say Blessing be bold, learn how to speak out. I guess it became a bother to her when she started raising it up in her prayers. Countless times I heard her praying the spirit of boldness into my life.


Asking a question or reaching out for help in areas of your ignorance is a sign of Wisdom. Ask and it shall be given unto you was God's way of telling us to ask so we can gain clarity on issues we do not understand.


Your refusal to reach out for help or ask questions will always cost you something. Ask anyway.


No man is an island, everyone needs everyone to grow. It is how we were designed

Dig out your own mystery.

It is the honour of Kings to search out a matter

Find your lane and walk in it.

Find that which makes you thick.

Find your spot, run with it with all diligence.

We fall sick, blame the Devil and not our bad eating habit or lackadaisical attitudes towards our health.

When our relationship fails, we blame the second party and not the fact that we were not knowledgeable enough to walk in accordance with the principles in a relationship.

I must say all post under this thread is insightful, I am seeing a new perspective on the aspects of faith. I believe that the world cannot be void of faith. Everyone is believing something whether real or false and it's that belief that has made us who we are today.

What God requires of us is our faith.

Nothing more than to believe in Him.

But why we doubt, I can't tell.

Why we prefer to walk according to our plan and not his will I can't tell.

Why we end up in the wrong spots due to our refusal to wait on him, I can't tell.

Why we rather choose fear than a walk-in faith is still a mystery.


Faith is not void of actions, whoever must walk in faith must learn to believe in the creator of the universe.

Faith is necessary for growth and advancement in life.

If the impact must be solid, faith must be solid.

Taking care of yourself is important.

Dealing with internal issues that tend to overwhelm you is important.

Facing and confronting your fear rather than shy away from it important.

I likened the growth to a farmer, a seed and the soil.

As a human, our minds are conditioned for quick and speedy results. Therefore doubts creep in when answers to our prayers seem to delay. we want the God of now to do a speedy work over on our prayers thereby presenting us with timely results.

We give up too easily at the slightest challenges we encounter as we have conditioned our mind for easy living,even Jesus didn't find it easy.

Who doesn't want a life that is void of challenges?

But news flash!

Challenges will always rear it's the ugly head but how we condition our mind to respond to it will make all the difference.

You don't change things by trying to change the circumstances around.
