I have found out that whenever I put on a black shirt, the sun hits me more compare to when I put on any other color of shirt. I don't know if anyone experiences this too. A friend once told me that black clothes, attract sun the more. Is it really true or it's just fiction?

Yes! It is wrong. But it has become the norm in some churches today.

omiobo: They do it in my church but I refused to register because I believe it is wrong. Why should they record tithes? Let God judge me if I fail to pay my tithe. I don't buy any excuse they might want to give.

The way it's been put into consideration in my church is the height. Once your name is not there, then be ready to be on your own in times of your need.
If the church wanna keep record of anything, it shouldn't be tithes rather, the welfare offerings given for it members upkeep (more understandable).

My thoughts too. But if you go to most churches today, it's been taken so seriously up to the extent of having a register for it. Me feel it's really not right because, what ever you are giving to God should be between you and him. Some churches go as far as not recognizing you as it member long as you don't pay your tithes which is bad if you ask me.

Since what you pay as your tithe is your obligation to God, why should it be recorded.? For instance,
I attend Assemblies of God church were tithes paying is so taken seriously. Once your name is not on their list as one who pays his/her tithes, I'm afraid you won't be considered to seriously in your time of despair.
I have been pondering on this for sometime now still can't find answers to it. So, I want to throw-in the question to the house for a better understanding.

Mine happens to be on the 12-06-2008 when I lost my uncle and his first son (both barristers) in a ghastly motor accident along Ewu/Agbede road in Edo state. They were burnt beyond recognition. The most saddest of all is that, we got to know three days after the incident. Its was really tragic indeed because it sent my whole village into mourning for several months even till now. I still miss them real bad whenever I think of them.

Today finally makes it one year since they departed this wicked and sinful world. May your killers never find peace until justice prevails. We really miss you bro and we hope to join you on the other side some day. Adieu gallant young men of the Allu4 massacre. Your memory lives on.
