Seems ManU fans have gone hiding this days. I smell something fishy o! What a trying time for them indeed!! |
A good test to really know if this arsenal team can put up a good champions league challenge this season. Not an arsenal fan but I'm tipping them as favorites to win this match. |
No one disbursed for ASUU? |
50cent is really going broke considering the fact he used to be among the top five before. Can't believe kendrick Lamar made the list. |
Ok. Thank God for that. Nothing new about this story anyway. |
KTBFFH!! |
E be like say them want to tell us Another story again oooh. |
Scavengers called boko haram at it again! God help and deliver us all from the hands of this blood thirsty terrorist. Death all over the land. Human lives are been killed at will. Things getting worse when you begin to think everything is fine. A total cleansing of our land is all we ask from you O Lord. RIP Pastor and the kids that lost their lives. Your killers shall never go unpunished (amen) |
Always spitting nonsense because someone from his region is the number one citizen of this country. He should better mind the way he talks now else, he might be forced to go into hiding when the beat of the drum plays a different tune come 2015. Mtcheeeeew!!!!! |
Fuckinly beautiful mehn!!! |
Very enlightening I must confess. |
I so pity Fulham today because with the winless run of Chelsea thus far, they are gonna be going into the game like a wonder lion. Make it count my dear club chelsea. KTTBFH!!!!!!!!!!!! |
angel TI: No condition is indeed permanent. So happy blackface now has a 'grass2grace' storyAmen |
Another terrorist group on the rampage.! |
0lumide: The Hypocrites in opposition: Of course we all know APC will gladly join the Baraje group to impeach Jonathan and further polarize PDP which is good for our democracy. But the reason for APC's assumed action won't be for the sake of democracy but to further destroy a would be opposition should APC wield power. Is that good for our democracy? Any sane and unbiased Nigerian know PDP has to die for Nigeria to move forward. If PDP continues to hold on to power, Nigeria will be destroyed.Assume PDP dies just as you have said, what happens to the politicians will they die as well? What this country need is a total cleansing of all this thieves and rogues we call politicians. Weather PDP, APC, PDM, APGA or which ever political party we have, they are all the same abeg. |
When I read the news about how 40 soldiers died and 69 missing yesterday, I told someone close to me that read the news too that, we gonna be hearing a different figure today. Not surprised at all. Its so unfortunate we lost about 15 of them and 9 still missing even if that's what they want us to believe. RIP Soldiers. |
HIAN!!!!!!!! Just now now Nawa oh. They didn't even allow the airport to be up to a month old before showing themselves. Nna mehn, odikwa serious oh!This is just the Genesis that's for sure. |
Something is really not right here. Why do we keep dropping points even after winning our matches! The most surprising was the one after the nations cup. Well, long as we keep winning all our matches, I care-less about their nonsense rankings.. |
Interesting! They should kindly move the prison down here instead of shutting it down because we are really short of prisons here and the number of prisoners as the day goes by, is on the increase. |
zerocool: What is he complaining about now? He chose his path long ago.Did u read any part that says he's complaining? He's just trying to pass a message to Arsene Wenger. |
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed all in his autobiography The much-travelled Swede has never played in the Premier League, but disclosed his close brushes with English football in his autobiography I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The striker revealed how Arsene Wenger missed out on the opportunity to snap up him over a decade ago, saying: "I went out to Arsenal’s training facility near St Albans. "I saw Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp out on the pitch. The really awesome thing was that I was going to meet Arsene Wenger. I felt like a little boy when we stepped into his office. "I shivered a bit under Wenger’s gaze. It was like he was trying to see through me, or size me up. He’s a man who draws up psychological profiles of his players — are they emotionally stable? That sort of stuff. He is thorough, like all great coaches, and I didn’t say much at first. "I just sat in silence and was bashful, but after a while I lost my patience. Something about Wenger set me off. He would leap up every so often to check who was outside his window. It seemed as if he wanted to keep an eye on everything, and he kept going on about one thing all the time. Ibrahimovic says Arsene Wenger missed the opportunity to bring him to Arsenal [GETTY] Something about Wenger set me off Zlatan Ibrahimovic "'You can have a trial with us,’ he said. ‘You can give it a try. You can test things out.’ No matter how much I wanted to behave, those words set me off. "‘Give me a pair of boots. I’ll have a trial. I’ll do it right now,’ I said. Then Borg (Malmo’s sporting director, Hasse Borg) interrupted me, saying, ‘Stop, stop, we’ll sort this out, you’re not going to have a trial, not at all,’ and of course, I understood what he was getting at: either you’re interested, or you’re not. "Having a trial puts you in a weak position, so we said no: ‘We’re sorry, Mr Wenger, but we are not interested.’ I’m sure it was the right decision, though." Ibrahimovic also indicated that City showed interest in his services when he left Barcelona in 2011, revealing: "When I was forced to leave Barcelona by Pep Guardiola in 2011, sure I knew all about the incredible things that had happened at Manchester City and all the money that seemed to be there since the crew from the UAE had taken over. Jose Mourinho is hugely admired by Ibrahimovic [GETTY] "City could surely become big within a few years. But I’d soon turn 29. I didn’t have time for long-term plans and money was never a big thing. I wanted to go to a club that could be good now and there was no club with a history like AC Milan. He also made his admiration for Mourinho clear, after the pair worked together at Inter Milan. "Jose Mourinho is a big star. He’d been my manager at Inter. He’s nice. The first time he met my partner Helena, he whispered to her: ‘Helena, you have only one mission: feed Zlatan, let him sleep, keep him happy.’ That guy says whatever he wants. I like him. He’s the leader of his army. But he cares, too. He would text me all the time at Inter, wondering how I was doing. He’s the exact opposite of Pep Guardiola. "If Mourinho lights up a room, Guardiola draws the curtains. I guessed that Guardiola was trying to match up to him. "Mourinho would become a guy I was basically willing to die for." www.express.co.uk/sport/football/427362/Ibrahimovic-reveals-how-he-nearly-joined-Arsenal-AND-Man-City-while-lauding-Mourinho |
José Mourinho avoided defeat on his return to Old Trafford as Chelsea secured a goalless draw against Manchester United on Monday night. Chelsea captain John Terry managed to keep United’s prolific Robin van Persie quiet, while the Blues failed to really test David De Gea without a recognised striker. Here is a selection of the best Twitter reaction from the professionals, past and present, to a disappointing goalless draw between the Premier League’s two most successful clubs. Norwich City defender Iwan Roberts (@ iwanwroberts) is impressed by Old Trafford’s ovation for their new boss: “Great reception for David Moyes.” Former West Ham striker Dean Ashton (@ Dean36ashton10) is even more impressed with the manager’s shoes: “Anyone clocked Moyes and his Patrick Swayze shoes!!!? #rascal” One of England’s Ashes heroes and Chelsea fan Kevin Pietersen (@KP24) is hoping Rooney is still Stamford Bridge-bound: “It looks like Rooney wants to impress JM tonight.. He clearly wants to be our #1 striker at @chelseafc next week! #boom” England legend Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) isn’t a fan of the false number nine – for obvious reasons: “Fascinating to see Mourinho go with the false nine system. Never seen any of his sides line up this way. Clearly doesn’t rate his strikers.” Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan (@MichaelVaughan) keeps us entertained amid some dour football: “To save on travel expenses Rooney might as well go back on the Chelsea bus…..” Manchester City defender Micah Richards (@ MicahRichards) looks up the a United legend: “@rioferdy5 makes football look so easy! # differentclas” Preston North End striker Kevin Davies (@ Kevin__Davies) isn’t enjoying the stalemate: “Looking like both teams don’t want to lose their unbeaten record so far!” Former Manchester United youth graduate Robbie Savage (@RobbieSavage8) heaps praise on Rooney: “Rooney best player on pitch, can he sustain it for 90 mins?” Ex-Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann (@ DietmarHamann) can’t believe England have not shown United’s No16 more love: “Carrick is in a different league, how he not got a lot more caps for England I will never know.” Former Spurs chairman Lord Sugar (@Lord_ Sugar) is not impressed by Ashley Cole’s attempts at winning a penalty: “Cole – what a cheat. British Olympic diving squad.” Ex-Fulham striker Brian McBride (@ BMcBride20) is wondering if a new tradition could be about to start: “Moyesy time?” Former Sunderland midfielder Michael Gray (@ mickygray33) hails United’s number 10: “If Rooney hasn’t proven tonight he is still a top player and very much needed at United then we are all mistaken..!!! #topperformance” QPR defender Danny Simpson (@ dannysimpson) is surprised the game finished in a goalless draw: “Don’t think many people would have predicted that result tonight #LetDown” Simpson’s team-mate Shaun Wright-Phillips (@ swp29) lavishes praise on his former England colleague: “@WayneRooney man of the match for me.” Ex-United defender Mikael Silvestre (@ IamMSilvestre) felt Frank Lampard should have been penalised for a handball in the draw: “Penalty all day long! #MUFC” United defender Rio Ferdinand (@rioferdy5) is pleased to keep Chelsea out on a landmark performance: “A clean sheet on my 300th Premier League appearance for Man Utd, would have liked a win but a draw was probably a fair result.” Ex-Red Devils forward Michael Owen (@ themichaelowen) joins in with praise for Rooney: “Not the greatest of games. Mourinho didn’t fancy losing that one. @WayneRooney showed a great attitude.” Finally, Wimbledon champion Andy Murray (@ andy_murray) is impressed by Petr Cech’s clean sheet record: ‘RT “@adidasUK: Well played Petr Cech. 200 clean sheets as a @chelseafc player! #allincfc pic.twitter.com/6R6WXn7fNK’ impressive stat!” Source: www.thesportreview.com/tsr/2013/08/rio-ferdinand-michael-owen-twitter-man-utd-draw-chelsea/ |
