I'm based in Port-Harcourt and yes my feed is 25kg with price at #3300 for broiler finisher and #3000 for layers mash. For guidance on the organic approach I'd like to add you to our whatsapp group if you are interested. There you would meet other experienced practitioners.

OK pls add me to d group..... I'm based in Lagos o but my birds are in Ogun state, I dnt knw how possible it will be to get ur feed. Don't you produce starter?? Birds should eat starter first na or does ur finisher also serve as starter?

I'll also like to use ur feed after ur experiment....how much is it per bag, is it d same 25kg?? hope its not as expensive as top feed is nd will I get d same or a better result?? what part of Nigeria are you? Hello..... I jst stumbled on this thread nd I find it interesting. I jst started poultry farming nd my broilers are 5 weeks old, I practice inorganic nd my birds are healthy.
I would like to try out this organic approach with d next batch. @ 00chymes00... Could you pls help out with a schedule of this organic approach to poultry farming for d sake of people like me that follow schedule from day 1 to day end . Pls its very important so that I don't give concortion meant for day10 at day4. Thanks

Buy embarzin forte and get a strong antibiotic.
Bitter leaf and pawpaw leafs are also very effective.

Pls how do you use bitterleaf nd pawpaw leaf, wat is it meant for? Do you boil before giving or they eat them raw??

mistake u made was using saw dust from day 1.....at day one they don't knw feed frm SawDust. So d 1st 3days u shld have put newspaper on d floor covering d sawdust 1st. Then when u notice they are eating their feed well. U can remove d paper

You're much ready... Use carton on the brooding floor not saw dust for now till 2weeks.
Get 200watts or better still if you can afford an infrared bulb.
Buy Neoceryl. It's an antibiotic plus vitamins for brooding. Then buy emberceryl after brooding...another antibiotics and vit. Two table spoon for two drinkers. The small brooding drinkers.
You already know ya vaccination and drug program schedule.
Feed ad-lib ie, 24hrs wt four feeding troughs.

Thanks I'm jst receiving this now, I had a ntwrk issues. My birds arrived this morning and I already used saw dust on the floor but the challenge now is that they are eating the saw dust and they are also bringingit into their water, I have changed the water severally but they are still putting it. Will this affect them, shall I take them away and remove the saw dust Pls guys help me out. They are also pooing in their feed.

instead of using lantern,use charcoal pot.
for the antibiotics, dosage is at the body of the sachet.
