Know this and have peace: For any inverter to last long, it is suggested to only have an 80% maximum load compared to its power rating when running continuously. That is, you only load it up to 80% of its maximum capacity for continuous use.
A key benefit of this is that at 80% load, the current draw from the BB remains at an ideal level - around 100A - which contributes a great deal to efficiency and heat management.
For example, an Inverter rated for 1,500W Continuous Power, shouldn't be loaded beyond 1,200W (80% utilization)
1,200W/12.8V = 93A current draw (for 12Vdc system)
Pabodo: Hello House Please had anyone used the Growatt 6kva inverter (SPF6000ESPlus)
Saw some negative reviews about Growatt inverters packing up within few years and choose to ask
codemaster2much: good morning, please ia their a special device I can get to properly balance the cells in my battery? Charging with my lifepo4 charger alone doesn't fix the imbalance . My BMS is passive
capnies: 700w solar panel will not charge 2.6kwh well. You need one more 350 orr two 550w which in turns means the charge controller should be more than 30A mppt or you shift to 24v Lithium or nothing
@WaytoGo, The angles in degrees quoted are not elevation angles but the orbital position of the satellites in question. For a given installation site, as you move along the satellite arc (East to West), from the horizon (0°) to the satellite at or close to the zenith position, the azimuth and elevation increase correspondingly. Thus, 51.5E has lower elevation/ azimuth values as compared to 42E; 51.5E has also lower elevation/azimuth values as compared to 16E. Note: The satellite at the zenith position (highest point or elevation on the arc) is the one that has an orbital value equal or close to the Longitude of the installation site. For example if your Longitude is say 7°E, then Eutelsat 7B/7C @ 7°E is at the zenith. I hope this helps.
WaytoGo: Digitman, et al, please I have a practical question to ask.. Picture below.
The screenshot below shows ; 51.E and but the elevation level is at "34 while 42.E elevation is at @ '43. But a look at the screenshot below (also) which I got from here, you (below) place 51.E above 42.E. How did you arrive at this because a critical look at the eleveation levels of each one would think the higher the elevation, the higher the level at which your LNB should be placed.
Please, digitman or anyone, can you help in answering these practical questions?
You will need good 2.4m plate or surface. Lnb skew = 9 o'clock , dish facing eastern horizon (el = 0) for motorized setup.
eddyline: pls who has nailed intelsat 33@60e? I need help nailing this bird. what should be my lnb position and any other information necessary. thanks
Ameboperoo: It might be difficult to receive 26e with different lnb on the same dish because they are so close together and will theoretically overlap. I stand to be corrected though
GeorgeD1: My insatiable quest for satellite knowledge coupled with a driving desire to break free from the clutches of payTV led me to nairaland and eventually I stumbled on the official FTA thread (part 1). The likes of olofofo, badaru, microgiant, olason, F-marshal, adex70, blexxonmak, Dejsam, enitan, Evans Ghanney, Gadotor, ikiriye, jujukemist, obnelly, borderline, twinsoris, tox naija, including adewest who single handedly pulled down nilesat signals (BBC, CNN, Aljazeera, etc) with a 2.4m pan dish in Lagos at a time when other installers were struggling to make headway even with 3m. Not forgetting butsoneday, the undisputed king of sat who raised the BUD bar with a 5m monster installation. Also, twinstaiye, Pidzo, sathob, freshp, jayron, enigma, twinskenny, ameboperoo, bodejohn, pitodenze, sayso, Maddox, illish, arelukman, pofolo, esuo, odilibe and others too numerous to mention... We rode the waves together, through the Official Thread Of Free To Air Satellite Tv (parts 1 - 5) and when that thread was finally closed we moved on to the Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread. It's been an exciting decade of learnings. A time in history never to be forgotten. And now as we move on into the new year, may our journey take us to places never before explored. As the old gives way to the new, I hope new members and others yet to join will be proud to have their names mentioned among the great ones who helped to keep the FTA fire burning. Break the myth, dispel the belief, YOU KNOW YOU CAN!!!
I thought the Ikwerres are not Igbo. When I checked: Ogbakor = Gathering = Igbo
Dike = Warrior or Hero = lgbo
Oha = Community or Public = Igbo

tinajohn: A professor of building and structural engineering, Patrick Nwankwo, on Thursday, told a Lagos State High Court in Igbosere that the collapsed Synagogue Church of All Nations’ guesthouse complied with the British standard code of building, adding that the collapse had nothing to do with structural defects.
The Lagos State Government had sued SCOAN over the collapsed building that killed 116 persons on September 12, 2014.
Two engineers, Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun, and their companies, Hardrock Construction and Engineering Company and Jandy Trust Limited, were charged with 110 counts bordering on involuntary manslaughter, while the registered trustees of SCOAN were charged with one count of building without approval.
At the resumed hearing on Thursday, while being led-in-evidence by the defence counsel, Olalekan Ojo (SAN), Nwankwo told the court that he visited the site, took some measurements and carried out thorough investigations on what could have been responsible for the collapse and found out that all the components and building processes met the British building code standards.
Check if the serial number tallies with what they have on the official website.
sunene1: My people, somebody is trying to sell this inverto ultra black to me from Lagos for 4000 naira.pls is d LNB original before somebody defraud me o.My location is abuja.and my satellite target is Amos 4w.on my 2.4m

Now i bought a new KU LNB in order to track Channels on 28° east Multi TV,
Attached is my dish current position with KU LNB i bought, diseqswitch and LNB holder i got.
Please Gurus, at what position do i put the KU LNB, should it be primary or above the Nigcomsat?
Thank you
