Of course i indicated that on my app and SOP, working in my sisters company, which she also indicated in her letter of support.
Even though i didn't put a letter of employment (which i will do in my re-application).
But the truth of it is no job will be waiting for anyone for 2yrs will you are away for post graduate, less of it in a country like Naija.

what reason(s) was stated in the refusal letter?

Applied on the 2nd of Oct.

same applies to visa application... na the answers you give whilst taking on the questionnaire go determine docs u go upload.

I already told you before... since what you want is to start afresh, no need selecting the option that says you have attended a post secondary education.

I'm going for a second degree but they wrote "transfer student" in my app, I kept on telling them that I don't want to transfer, I want to start from the beginning, they din't listen, guess that's the reason for the Ietls.
But, if I reapply and put high school instead of uni, won't it be somehow because on my previous app, I put uni

it will be somehow. And that "somehow", is that you will get it this time. Just choose that you left high skool... as in, you have not attended any higher institution....

Emperor and Naby, I don't know how you guys pulled up your apps o! but I think the issue might be from there. For example, emperor is going as a transfer student. Naby is talking about uni transcripts too.

When I reapplied for admission after deferring, I wasn't asked to send any toefl result. Una must have selected an option in the application steps that triggered that toefl thing. And, I advised emperor to go and start afresh in mun... forget the transfer thing,,, u might not enjoy it...Na ur choice though.

You guys might want to Logon to the MUN self service portal and go through the questions again. The part that asked for the level that defines you, choose that you are an high skool leaver....

Cos, Nigeria still dey on their ELT exempt list.

seriously? it has been a long time since I last heard that cic called someone. E go be for medicals na. They won't call you to tell you that you was refused. Nevertheless, they might have called to ask some questions.

Welcome 2 the e-fam 'delayed' means 'refused' buh here we don't use the word refused...and once delayed no matter how long it took,means the person hv 2 start a new visa application.

We use the word "refuse". What we don't use is DENIED...

See Memorial University too ===== www.mun.ca (contact the admissions office)

ALso, you can look at www.aucc.ca to compare prices and choose the school that matches what u want.

Won't that be stressful? What i know is that they request for the scratch card details to check the result themself. Ask the skool if that's possible for u.

I know Memorial University (mun) does that.

hi Adebimpe, I'm in your shoes too. I have learnt in Patience to Possess it all. I applied to MUN, also application complete. The Acceptance Letter comes like 2 months after the relevant deadline, so by January the letters will be out. You may check on your Department's admission officer to give you relevant dates. Trust me, coming to NL is like a Panacea to anxiety. Going to forums helps pal. Keep your cool.

you dont need the hardcopy for visa application...

You can mail the admissions office or call them to know if u have been accepted... if yes, tell 'em to forward a softcopy to u... tell 'em u need it for visa application. I did same.

They don't "reject", they refuse you a place if you don't meet with the requirement(s). Plus, what skool did you apply to?
