Politics › Re: Boko Haram: Mass Deportation Of Illegal Aliens Likely by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 9:19pm On Sep 05, 2011
Don't just deport them but close our border with these countries up North from Chad to Niger and Burkina Faso. OBJ closed the border with Benin and Cameroon during his tenure. This only stems the in flow of suiciders into the country.

Furthermore, the government needs to limit entry visa given to potential terrorist preachers from the middle east. (Arabs). Remember the Nigerian that tried to bomb American Airline was groomed and trained in Yemen before embarking on that shameful mission. These Arabs could be based in the North and grooming these young men to commit act of terrorism.

Finally, the destinations of all Nigerians traveling abroad should be recorded. This will help locate potential countries offering training for terrorism. We need to engage the Nigeria Islamic leaders to condemn acts of terrorism as anti-Islam alongside prominent Islamic and traditional leaders leaders. The media will be required for this battle of hearts and minds.

Still need the Army to engage in preemptive attacks against known terrrorist and organization to send a clear message to those allowing themselves to be groomed of the faith that awaits dem. The War has already be declared and Boko Haram ever since have been landing heavy blows on Nigeria. Dis should be Nigeria's turn to settle scores like every other country from Isreal to US facing terrorist.

Desola:
Certain traditions even hold that the Igala are of Fulani origin, simply because of the similarities in their physical features. It IS clear that Fulanis do not speak a Kwa language. And owing to the linguistic affinity, others affirm the Yoruba connections. For Byng Halt notes that, "It is not surprising that within a short period of arrival in Igala land, a Yoruba is well acquainted with the language.”  He attributes the ease in learning the language to the closeness of the two languages. Armstrong sticks to this same view when he said: "the most definite historical statement that can be made about Igala is that . they had a common origin with the Yoruba and that the separation took place long enough ago to allow for their fairly considerable linguistic differences. [b]There is a whole corpus of oral traditions on the origin of the Igala people.
Agreed and exactly wat i was explaining earlier. Yorubas can trace ancestry to Igala based on lingustic similarity between the Okun but substantial linguistic differences with Igala. Okun and Igala share similarities.

The migration route of the Igala can be traced to present day Anambra State were u find Igala settlement and dat language is much closer to Igbo.
But do the Igala themselves say this? I don't think so. It has been a couple months since I last looked into it, but I don't think they view themselves as Igboid in origin.
Of course not becos thay are Igala. U did find them in Anambra State though speaking something similar to Igbo and the lanaguage differs as it goes. Not one Igala.
This I can believe. If you listen to for example the Bible in Igala (http://www.igalabible.com/), it sounds like some sort of strange Yorubaish language.

Igala and Yoruba are definitely related, somehow. Or so I think.

Notice how Igala sounds absolutely nothing like Igbo, by the way?
LOL, the Igala are not claiming to be Yoruba either, so don't know were u got dat Yorubaish from.  grin Look to the Okun for yoruba similarity. Gosh so much info out their but people want to be spoon feed instead of reading.  undecided

Whatever tickles your fancy.
THIS IS, HOW WRONG U ACTUALLY ARE ABOUT THINGS. U said the Okun aren't Yoruba but u were wrong becos of the three main tribes in Kogi, the Okun (similar to Yoruba).

The Igala are identified by the old oral tradition of Western Igbos as descendants of Igbo migrants who migrated westward during the expansion of the proto-Igbo peoples at the beginning of the 1st millennium.

The Yoruba are in turn identified by some Igalas as descendants who continued on west and eventually settled across Western Nigeria and Benin. The other main tribe are the Ebira.

Desola, I really want u to learn becos i don't like wasting my time explaining like u asked me to.
Politics › Re: 4 Options Gej Has by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 9:41pm On Sep 03, 2011
Desola, I am not going to answer dat question becos u keep talking about your people and not your people without any idea of the things u are saying.

Desola, the bond between us Southern Nigerian's(AND NORTH CENTRAL) run deeper dan u realise. Igbo' have Efik Genealogy and the Yoruba's have Igbo Genealogy, meaning we can trace our roots to one another as descendant and family.

The foreigners in the Nigerian entity are probably the Fulani that migrated from North east Africa, present day Northern Sudan. Even the Hausa's are our relative before their subjugation under the Islamist Army of the Fulani that invaded their territory, much as they are attempting to do with the Tiv and other tribe's in Benue.

Desola, YORUBA'S ARE ACTUALLY THIRD GENERATION DESCENDANT ETHNIC-IGBO'S.

The Kogi's are not Yoruba but Igala and that language varies based on geographical location. Igbo's have just as much claim to the Igala's as Yoruba's. They are refered to as igbo's dat migrated west. Abeg don't claim teritory reach Kogi east. grin

There is nothing wise about that. The man swore allegiance to serve Nigeria. He is paid to be VP, to that regard must bare the mantle of V. President becos the country comes first. He should stand down as VP  or get that job done. VP and President who is more important to the nation, clearly the President as this article confirmed is very committed.

Politics › Re: Ocean Surge Sacks 1000: Lagos Begs FG For Financial Aid by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 7:40pm On Aug 31, 2011
The Federal Government does not exist only for Lagos State. The annual Lagos State budget subsidies by Federal funds is more dan enough to have been used to properly safe guard the Lagos State coastal shores.

Rather, Corrupt ACN official have looted much of those funds. Today, past Lagos state governors are billionaires. Fashola and his ill-adviced Eko Atlantic project have seen Billions of Nigerian owned Dollars literally poured into the ocean on land reclamation project awarded to foreign companies.

They must be on crack cocaine to believe Federal Government will keep allocating almost one third of its budget to be looted and poured into the oceans and building grand second international airport on lagos islands facing ocean surge.

Nigeria is now a gathering point for Muslim extremist and suiciders from the middle east and African countries dat are predominately Muslims. Sucide bombers from  Chad, Niger, Mali, Senegal, Gambia, Central African Republic etc have made way to Nigeria unless GEJ does something really drastic to deter extremist and Islamist from our country with help from the international community becos terrorism itself is an international entity.
Politics › Nigeria Has Shamed Africa. by Bliss4Lyfe(op): 11:38am On Aug 31, 2011
I ask myself, why an African country like Nigeria with less than half its population that are Muslim should be a known terrorist country with suicide bombers. This is shameful becos the Black man has always sort and taken pride in never resulting to such desperation of suicide.

Why does Nigeria have to be the only country and the first country in Africa to introduce the black race to such evil and humiliating identity. WHY?

I urge President Jonathan to limit the entry to Nigeria of people from know terrorist countries in the middle east and predominantly Muslim African countries. They are the ones indoctrinating the BOKO HARAM Terrorist organization and suicide bombers against their ill-faithed  desire to islamize the whole Nigeria dat is tantamount to slavery of the Black man by the Arab man becos they(Arabs) den become our god.

Let Jonathan pursue a pan-african agenda and identity for all Nigerians irespective of belief system to unite the whole Nigeria under the African Umbrella. This is the only effective way to combat BOKO HARAM AND TERRORIST NATIONS THAT SPONSOR THEM ALONGSIDE PREVIOUS MILITARY PRESIDENTS,MUSLIM LEADERS AND MUSLIM TRADITIONAL LEADERS DAT BELIEVE THE PRESIDENT SHOULD HAVE REMAINED NORTH WITH BUHARI.
