The verses you quote above are talking about different things entirely, the last one is even talking about money and has nothing to do with watching movies or music.

There was no movie, but there are performance or some sort of entertainment which Jesus Christ never partake in it nor His Apostles, all those songs people are singing are not gospel songs, they are just entertaining songs that doesn't glorifies GOD. what is the GOSPEL?

that is the gospel, song that doesn't talk about Repentance, Holiness, Purity and Righteousness are never Gospel songs. I watch/listen to secular music and movies just because "I am not a CHRISTian (CHRISTlike and little CHRIST) the adamic nature is there, the flesh is stronger than the spirit.

And about the Bible verses, it is talking what what you watch, if you watch something that strengths your faith you will be strong but if you watch evil things your life will be full of evil, and the last verse is talking about being the servant of sin/devil and claiming to be the servant of God is not possible, you can be of the world and the flesh if you wish, but cannot be of GOD (CHRISTian, CHRISTlike and little CHRIST)

When you look around today you see lot of Christian rapists, armed robbers, thieves, murderers, drunkard, cultists, fornicators, adultrers, and other unimaginable crimes even pastors or bishops. why?

If you are asked, Are you a CHRISTian? most people will say "Yes" and if I ask how do we become a CHRISTian, some will say, I was born into Christian family, I bear Christian(Jewish) name or I go to church, but does those truly make some a Christian? No, these things do not make anyone a CHRISTian. What makes you a CHRISTian?

Disciples were first call CHRISTian at Antioch not because they bear Peter, Barnabas, Timothy, Philip etc, born into CHRISTian family (they were CALLED OUT of their family and relations) or going to church, but they were called CHRISTian because people see the life of CHRIST in them, they forsake their family to follow CHRIST

Before you can call yourself a CHRISTian you must have gone through these processes
1. Salvation (Repentance, Confession, Acknowledgement of your sins) you are a sinner from birth Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;


Psalms 51:2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.


2. Sanctification (HOLINESS, GODLINESS,PURITY, RIGHTEOUSNESS), The Bible says he that commit sin is of the devil, you can remain in sin and tell the grace of God to abound, God forbid, YOU CANNOT BE A AND STILL BE LIVING IN SIN, YOU CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MORMON TOGETHER.

You must like the way CHRIST lives, preach what HE preached, behave like HE behaved, CHRISTian means CHRISTlike and little CHRIST, if your life doesn't shows the exemplary Life of CHRIST you are deceiving yourself, You are not of the world because the Word (JESUS CHRIST lives in you)

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;


then go into world and preach CHRIST to them.

#Summary : THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN BECOME A CHRISTIAN IS LIVING YOUR LIFE LIKE CHRIST ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE

Yesterday i got into a heated debate with an acquaintance. He was of the opinion that listening to secular music and movies is bad for a christian. I on the other hand was countering him. Although i know that there are music or movies especially that one should avoid but i opine that it is not enough to ride all secular music and movies off.

I have learn alot especially from secular movies both as a form of entertainment and educationally and just because some movies are bad doesn’t mean i should stop watching movies.

Tell during the time of JESUS CHRIST, which movie, playlet, song or dance did you heard or read he featured, supported, commended or associated with, HE came to preach, live exemplary Life, perform miracles before HE went back to heaven. If you are a "CHRISTian" if you remove CHRIST from CHRISTian it make you nothing, CHRISTian means CHRISTlike and little CHRIST, what CHRIST do not do don't do it. your eyes can bring darkness into your life, all those gospel singers and actors, you are talking about 99.99% of them like pastors are not teaching CHRISTlike word, they are just doing it to earn money and fame not to propagates the gospel, if the song or movie does carry the word of REPENTANCE, PURITY, HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS that CHRIST preaches, you heading to wrong destination, if heaven is your goal retrace your steps.
