Ambode did well in many areas but don't make it sound like a reformist politician was kicked out. If Ambode were that popular he would surely have thrown his hat into the ring.

Nobody can deny the visionscape/PSP issue was Ambode's albatross. But It's funny when people make it seem like Ambode didn't do anything at all. U in particular said he didn't do anything out of the ordinary and that was why I laughed cos that was not true.

In 2016 Ambode commissioned 114 roads within a day , but nobody will tell u about these things . The secondary schools and primary schools construction and improvement they are using to campaign for Sanwoolu now ; Ambode did same scattered all over the state . Anybody telling u Sanwoolu did better than Ambode in 4 years is just lying to himself

Well that's debatable the Lagos I remember from that time was dirt everywhere and plenty potholes. He did well for Epe and built the BRT exchange at Oshodi other than that nothing earth shattering if you ask most people.

Ambode was removed because a lot of the Lagos APC stakeholders didn't like him not necessarily because Tinubu had issues with him well at least that's from the gist I heard, but I guess the opposition is more comfortable with the narrative that Ambode stood up to BAT hence why he was removed.

The news itself is even my concern; a commercial bus driving against traffic causing death of an innocent motorist. Every blessed day these Yellow danfo buses always drive against traffic on Carter bridge from the Idumota end of the bridge to the roundabout that goes to Iddo. They do this cos they don't want to go and turn . As early as 6.15am sef when the day is not yet bright u will see them facing u with their full light not working o.

Yet there's a police armored personnel carrier and police patrol car stationed on the very close to where they start the one-way journey. I honestly don't know how many people needs to lose their lives before the police and other security agencies clamp down on these danfo people.

People don't just troop to LUTH and LASUTH out of freewill, they do so out of necessity. Most people having getting treated in private hospitals and other government hospitals for weeks and sometimes months, they usually end up being referred to LUTH or LASUTH.

I know someone whose Child had to see a specialist in LUTH and at the end of the day the specialist recommended a procedure that cost millions in naira but that was not even the problem. They were told there's a long queue and she had to wait for months (Like from first quarter of the year to September) before the child can get the procedure done.

It was one of the specialists who saw the mother's agony that told her codedly that only LUTH and EKO hospital in the whole of Nigeria have the equipment that will be needed to carry out the operation . She took the child to EKO hospital eventually and got the procedure done. You see most of the others on the queue have no choice but to stick to LUTH out of necessity.

The truth is; the years of military rule did us dirty in this country and when democracy came, most politicians just saw it as their own turn to eat from where the Military boys stopped. If not, things should've been better in this country than we have it currently.

One time an accident victim was referred from FMC abeokuta to Luth, he made it to the hospital but died while waiting to be attended to because there was no bed space

I once shared the story of a friend who survived cancer. When he went into coma and was referred to Luth, they spent 3 hours in the vehicle that brought him because there was no bed.

It took the intervention of some of their church members who made calls to the high places before they got him a bed.

Luth is more or less the only decent hospital with the best equipment and doctors in the whole of the South West. All critical and emergency cases end up in Luth.

I don share my personal experience for LASUTH for here before. They attended to my patient in the car . We moved from one section to the other within the compound carrying the patient in the car and when they eventually decided to have the patient administered drip, the car served as the bed space. The doctor was even giving some kind of vibe like our patient was lucky we came in a car cos the other option would've been to get white plastic chair on which the patient would be attended to cos the bed spaces were filled up.

Dem LUTH, LASUTH and co are places that can get u depressed if u visit often. I won't be surprised if most of their staff sef are depressed.

So here’s what is happening with old notes being legal tender as pronounced by Supreme Court :

Some banks are paying out the old notes via the counter. All u need do is fill withdrawal slip and they will give u the old #500 and #1000 notes .

To deposit same old notes with the same bank is a different story entirely . U need to first fill the form on CBN portal first and then take the slip with u to the bank before the bank will accept old #500 and #1,000 naira notes from u.
