No matter which way you wish to see it, there still needs to be independence and submission in a relationship.
Teams play together, true. So at times, one needs to submit to the other's choice.
Lol, hate to admit this, but in a team, there's always a leader. And men ( ) will continue to be the captain in the relationship.
So they do need to learn to submit to their wife's choice/interest at times and vice versa.

Now, when it comes to independence, that's crucial.
