Yeah, but only if you are a black man. Smh. |
GodMode:ummm.... Yes they were. We were just arguing not bringing meaningful contributions to the table. |
Big ups man. Like I've said before, people like you inspire me to become better. That aside, hard to give any review when all we have are screenshots. A link to the actual app is needed. I know it'll be great though. |
GodMode:I didn't report any post (never really used that feature before). I guess the posts were off - topic. None of the other posts (on topic) were hidden |
pcguru1:Comment of the year, we need more people to contribute and also let's do our parts in the little way we can. This section must be given life. |
Based on the number of threads regarding the issue of this section stagnating , I figured we could, instead of complaining, suggest ways on how to make this section lively again. It was through this section that I got interested in programming (web programming to be precise) in the first place and it feels really sad to see it go to waste like this. There is just too much potential and this section houses some of the brightest minds we have in Nigeria. I do hope that we can come together and suggest ways to give this section life. I will start first by saying that * some of the threads that have no relation to programming should be deleted (not locked) * if possible, before threads are finally pushed to this section, it should go through a moderator first who will then determine if said thread is appropriate for this section * there should be a section for questions alone (programming related) I still have more but I hope that others will contribute. |
Seems like most people here haven't used Jumia or Konga before. These online stores don't just send their delivery men willy nilly for every person that tries to buy something from them. They send mails to verify if the person actually made the request and they call the supplied number as well. Like two step verification. If the verification returns false then they don't send their delivery men anywhere. What my rant is all about is that the op's prank is a failure from the start cos e no go work. |
@Emusan You asked this. Can something create itself? Can nothing create something? You answered with this. The answer to these is an absolute No. We all know that something cannot create itself and nothing can't create something. From Latin we have the phrase "ex nihilo, nihil fit" meaning "from nothing, nothing comes." It also violates the law of cause and effect, that says for every effect there must be a cause. The effect can't be greater than the cause and nothing cannot be greater than something. Therefore, based on the laws of science and logic, the universe couldn't have created itself. You then go ahead to say this. 3. The universe was created:Earlier on you said that nothing cannot create something and something cannot create itself but yet you would still have us believe that God was created by nothing or that it created itself. If you can believe that God (a made up entity as far as I can tell) is uncreated, why then do you think it is far fetched for the universe (observable) to be uncreated? |
Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe............... Thanks......................................................................................... Satan hehehehehe ![]() |
mubitechnology:cool |
Craigston:A mix of both I guess. It's meant to be a way to display static textual content alone but we decided to make it more interactive than just a typical run off the mill site. daz all. |
Craigston:Not really my thing bro. |
mubitechnology:The whole project isn't really a brainchild of mine. Someone else came up with it and I did the implementation. Could you point out the lies, I will be more than happy to correct them if I can. |
sisqology: Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now that's what I'm talking about. My oga at the top, anytime you're ready, I'm game. |
abdul01:Thanks for the feedback, I'll work on the readability. |
solomon201:No server side codes were used in the creation. HTML, CSS and JavaScript were used solely and thanks for the compliment. |
trytillmake:I doubt it'll be getting any change soon. Thanks for the compliment. bb6xt:Oh well........ I did say, I was having fun with it. MisterNobody:Thanks bro. |
solomon201:I see what you did there. I'm not really privy to such information so you wouldn't be getting any useful info regarding that. I'm more interested in your views regarding the general look and feel of the site. |
Pffft:Have you visited the link? |
So, we just "finished" (in quotes because a developer's job is never finished) work on a new project of our's. For now, we have it hosted on google drive and it can be viewed via this link Criticisms and critique welcome. |
MizMyColi:Cool, thanks. |
fattbabakay:Yeah, I do like the mobile version. Just wish the desktop version was different. |
kingopta:I only worked on the homepage. I was just having fun with it so it's not the total package. It's rushed work as well. |
SeverusSnape:I doubt Seun will be impressed, the dude doesn't impress easily but I do hope that nairaland's team gets some ideas if they ever want to update nairaland's user interface |
