IN the US...you also pay heavy taxes that chop a large chunk of your income at federal state and local government level. Also, you are paying back student loans if you went to university, (and those loans make Nelfund loans look like chincininy one). Electiricty? High prices. Car replayments? (I even found out from a relative that lives in US that most people there buy second hand cars, nothing like new car, lol)...and then if you have mortgage, you go pay (and rent is not the cheap thing we pay here lol).

Total = 202,000 - 200,000 = -2,000N deficit savings.

Average middle Class US Expenses

Rent: $1500
Utilities: $300
Transportation: $600
Phone and Subscription: $150
Food: $1200

Total = $3750 - $400 = $250 savings.
